Bozell: 'Lying' Chris Matthews Is Resolved That There's 'No Slur' That's 'Off the Table' to Employ Against Conservatives
"There is no slur against conservatives that's off the table" for the so-called journalists at MSNBC, NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell told Sean Hannity last night. The Media Research Center president made that remark after viewing a clip of Hardball host Chris Matthews calling the GOP the "Grand Wizard crowd," a not-so-thinly veiled suggestion that conservatives are violent racists.
What's more, "Chris Matthews is lying," Bozell argued, pointing back to a January 13 quote about Romney wherein Matthews called Romney a "moderate." "Even Chris Matthews doesn't believe that lie that he told." Also addressed on the April 26 "Media Mash" segment was how Matthews's colleague Martin Bashir callously suggested that Mitt Romney was "intentionally using" his multiple sclerosis-suffering wife to close a "gender gap." [watch the full Media Mash segment video below page break]
Such comments are "beyond the pale" but utterly predictable, Bozell concluded.
"When [Elizabeth] Edwards came down with cancer... as disgusting as her husband is, the media didn't dare suggest he was exploiting her, as correctly they should not have done it," Bozell noted. "Look, she [Ann Romney] cannot win. If she's the housewife, they attack her for being a housewife. If she speaks out, they attack her for speaking out. Welcome to the 2012 campaign, here we go."

Another columnist, can't remember who, referred to Matthews in his piece as "the increasingly hateful Chris Matthews."
That says it all, and Matthews should be referred to thus from now on.
Good point, MB

As documented on NB, Matthews gets caught spewing more and more hate as the months go by, and I don't think he even realizes that he's one of the haters.
Remember a while back when he was absolutely apoplectic over Limbaugh's application of the word regime to describe the Obama Administration?
He went on and on about how the word regime is applied to totalitarian and monarchial governments, and never to democracies. As the spittle was literally collecting at the corners of his mouth, he extrapolated Limbaugh's use of regime to suggest that Obama isn't an American and therefore not a legitimate President.
He even tried to get his guests to agree, although I think they partially concurred in deference to the show's host.
Shortly after that, NB dug up Matthews' multiple references to the "Bush regime."
This week, he labeled the leaders of the GOP as Grand Wizards while former RNC chair Michael Steele sat right at the table with him. Steele rightly and abruptly objected, and Matthews backed off, but just a bit. He didn't really apologize.
Maybe he's been on MSNBC so long that he has regressed into their Crazy Left mindset.
Obama never lies!!!

You people just have to learn to interpret what he says.
For instance, in the latest Student Loan flap, Da One say, "This is not the time to be increasing the cost of education to students."
That's true. What he left unsaid is, " Right after I'm reelected and have 'a little more flexibility,' I'll raise the Shiite out of it if I Fluking feel like it, yo!"
Just like during the first run for president where he said, "I will not sign ANY bill that will increase the national debt by one dime!" What he didn't add was, " ... but after I win, I'll pass bills that will increase that Fluking debt by 100,000,000,000 dimes."
He's good ... real good. You have to listen for what he means, not what he says.
Spend your time studying his every sound bite. They're all the same veiled lies.
As for Chris Matthews, and the rest of MSNBC, he's just a stupid bastard and doesn't actually know any better.
The best part of Chris matthews

MSNBC is going to be the mudslinging surrogate for the White House.
They are an extension of the Obama reelection team.
Their mission is to rile up the faithful in the hopes that angry people will vote.
There is no low to which they will not stoop.
Just a nasty and angry bunch.
If you attack Obama's positions, you're racist
Submitted by CO2Maker on Fri, 04/27/2012 - 12:19pm.
If you attack the arguments of supporters of Obama's policies, you are in fact attacking Obama's policies, and if you attack his policies, you are attacking him, and you're racist.
If you attack liberal commentators, you are attacking liberals and liberalism, and liberalism is the only political system that wants to help the poor and the non-white and non-English speaking, so attacking liberalism is racist.
The calculus of election politics always comes down to the R-word.
Oh, btw, if Zimmerman is a "white Hispanic" person, why isn't President Obama a "white black" person?
not worth it

Matthews once offered an interesting point of view. No more. He is not worth 10 seconds of comment on Hannity, Bozell's analysis or any space on Newsbusters. Matthews is not a serious person. Forget him.
Grand Wizard Crowd??

Errrrr, Uhhhh....excuse my ignorance about things rabidly racist but wasn't the KKK supported by Pres. Woodrow Wilson (Democrat) as well as the Democratic Party? Isn't Matthews a Democrat? Aren't Democrats still attempting to keep certain groups of people within the confines of their private economic plantations by keeping them on Welfare?
Now tell me again, exactly who is the Grand Wizard Crowd??
Oh yeah, and it gets worse

Planned Parenthood was established by Margaret Sanger, in part, to get rid of "undesirable" people, those who were unsuited to parenthood, like imbeciles, syphilitics, and the darker races.
And that wasn't a Fluke, if you get my meaning. She meant it.
Dems and darkies. Not exactly star-crossed lovers (well, burning-crossed lovers, maybe).
Tingles apologize HA ,not a chance this last line from him...

You Didn't Build That.
What does a Grand Wizard wear? (hint: on his head)
Submitted by Trochilus on Sat, 04/28/2012 - 3:38pm.
Wait . . . if I recall my history correctly, weren't the Grand Wizards (and their followers) the guys who were wearing the "hoodies"?
And, weren't they also the guys out publicly declaring a bounty on peoples' heads before they were ever charged or tried for anything?
Plus, the Grand Wizards were all Democrats, weren't they?
You know, I think this Matthews fella is either hopelessly confused, or he's a downright nasty, lyin' scoundrel!

C. Matthews was more interesting when he was perceived as a moderate, before he got that tinkle down his leg.
