Disgraced Anti-Semite Journalist Helen Thomas Honored By Palestinian Liberation Organization
The Society of Professional Journalists's lifetime achievement award that was named in her honor has been "retired" but Helen "Thank God for Hezbollah" Thomas can console herself with her latest trophy: high praise from the Palestinian Liberation Organization.
The former Hearst syndicated columnist was reportedly feted by the "top Palestinian envoy to the U.S... at his Washington residence." Palestinian legislator (and former girlfriend of the late Peter Jennings) Hanan Ashrawi reportedly presented Thomas with an award on Sunday.
You may recall that Thomas was pushed out of her comfortable perch as a Hearst syndicate columnist after a video went viral in June 2010 wherein she is seen telling a rabbi visiting the White House that Jews in Israel should just "go home" to the countries from which they emigrated.

I am always puzzled by those who press for Israel to evacuate land won in a war
started by the other side. Are they suggesting that we should return Texas and California
to Mexico or maybe the entire country to the Indians? The Jews were original occupants
of the land but were cruelly conquered by foreign invaders several times. The UN
determined a method for both Israel and Palestine to co-exist, but the Palestinians refuse
to acknowledge Israel and retain a wish to annihilate Jews. Helen Thomas should go
join Hamas.
