MSNBC's Mitchell Takes Victory Lap with Sen. Boxer Over Komen Reversal
News of the Komen Foundation's backpedaling regarding its grants to Planned Parenthood affiliates prompted liberal journalist Andrea Mitchell to do a victory lap on her 1 p.m. Eastern Andrea Mitchell Reports program today.
Mitchell began by noting that under "mounting pressure," Komen founder Nancy Brinker released an apology, an excerpt of which Mitchell read before interviewing pro-choice Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) by telephone about the development. [MP3 audio here; video follows page break]
"In looking at the wording from Komen today, do you think that this is a clear-cut reversal, or is it simply something to get past the immediate controversy," Mitchell inquired.
Boxer replied that it was a "reversal" that made her "very happy" because "women's health triumphed over right-wing politics." The NARAL-endorsed California senator gushed that Mitchell's hostile interview with Komen founder Nancy Brinker "helped bring this [reversal] about" and then laughably pontificated that "health care for our people should never be politicized from any side." Mitchell, of course, failed to point out Boxer's hypocrisy, seeing as she and 25 other liberal U.S. senators fundamentally made the issue a political flashpoint with their letter to Komen yesterday.
"There is almost hand-to-hand combat over the issue of birth control going on," in the U.S. Congress, the hyperbolic pro-choice senator added. "We are in battle here, women's health is under attack."
An objective journalist might object to such overheated rhetoric, but Mitchell failed to call Boxer on it, opting instead to replay a portion of yesterday's interview with Ambassador Nancy Brinker, setting up Boxer to slam Brinker's "trumped-up excuse" for dumping Planned Parenthood as "gobbledygook."
"The fact is... [there was] political pressure" on Komen that was "coming from the far-right wing" that "just don't believe... that women should have reproductive health care," Boxer proclaimed.
Again, Boxer offered no evidence of the "far-right wing" having put political pressure on Komen to ditch Planned Parenthood, nor did Mitchell ask her for evidence. Instead, Mitchell closed the interview by thanking her guest for "everything you've done on this," that is, thanking her for putting pressure on Komen to recant.

How many posts have we had to endure from Jer with Balboa and the like supporting him of how racist Limbaugh is because of what he said on his radio show. Political correctness is destroying America.
Liberallies...re political correctness
Submitted by Jer on Tue, 02/07/2012 - 12:30am.
No, I haven't "bought into" political correctness either--at least not completely. Let me explain:
I divide political correctness into two categories. The first characterized by a simple sensitivity to the physiological, sociological, and behavioral differences and predilections inevitably found within an increasingly multi-cultural, ethnically diverse society. It is essentially nothing more than exercising good manners and following the Golden Rule. To the extent the foregoing represents a form of "political correctness", I support it unconditionally.
The second category of political correctness--overweening, overbearing, authoritarian, nitpicking at minutiae, manufactured outrage over perceived slights and trivial indiscretions, an example of which was hauling Trent Lott into the public square to be appropriately humiliated for committing the intolerable sin of saying something nice about an elderly Strom Thurmond on his birthday--is the type of PC run amok that I can't stomach.

Check the picture there out. Sanger would be cheering!
---------article snip------- http://www.theinterim.com/issues/abortion/abortion-as-black-genocide/
The Life Always campaign came in the wake of the release of New York City abortion statistics from 2009, which showed that 59.8 per cent of black pregnancies were aborted, 50 per cent higher than New York City’s overall abortion rate of 41 per cent, which itself is almost two times the national average. According to ThatsAbortion.com, abortion is responsible for 46.7 per cent of African American deaths, 32.5 per cent of Hispanic deaths, and only 11.9 per cent of Caucasian deaths in New York City, if abortion fatalities were counted as a cause of death in official statistics.
The elevated abortion rate of blacks and other minorities is not unique to New York. ThatsAbortion.com points out that “more African American babies have been killed by abortions since 1973 than the total number of African American deaths from AIDS, violent crimes, accidents, cancer and heart disease combined.” The US Center for Disease Control indicates African American babies are three times more likely to be aborted than white babies. Since Roe v. Wade the black population has declined by 25 per cent. The CDC’s 2006 statistics indicate that black people accounted for 36.4 per cent of abortions in US while, under the 2000 census, they were only 12.3 per cent of the population. White women accounted for only 55 per cent of abortions even though they comprise three-quarters of the population.
The imbalance in abortion rates suggests something sinister at work. Rev. Hunter points to Maafa 21, a film showing how abortion of black people is a symptom of the eugenics movement and that “blacks have been targeted for elimination.” This has been the legacy of Planned Parenthood, whose creator, Margaret Sanger, was a notorious eugenicist. “Planned Parenthood has not sued the filmmaker,” said Rev. Hunter, which indicates that “the facts in that documentary stand.”
Sanger proposed the segregation of “morons, misfits, and the maladjusted” and the sterilization of the “genetically inferior races.” In her autobiography, she wrote about “the incessant fertility of (the Chinese) millions spread like a plague” and promoted eugenics and racism in her magazine, The Birth Control Review. According to a 2008 Washington Times editorial, Sanger wrote in 1939 that Planned Parenthood should use black ministers to promote birth control and abortion among the black population: “we should have three or four colored ministers… The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the one who can straighten out that idea.”
Rev. Hunter points out, “she is dead and from her grave she is still killing off black people.”

Seems, (more than seems), to me that the timing of the decline and decimation of the black family fits nicely with democratic policies put forth to "garner a voting bloc".
As bad as that is, the willful ignorance to the consequences of those policies can only mean that the democrats like impoverishing black America as much as they like snuffing them in the womb.
Sad as it is to say, the most dangerous place for a baby today is in a black mother's womb.

Liberals, 45 years of patronizing condescension and copious warnings about those conservative white boogeyman who are going to take away your ______ (fill in the blank) if you don't follow us.
Maybe you liberals do get tired of having the results of your social engineering shoved in your faces, so what? You know of a certainty your theory of "Comfortable Poverty" is the largest contributor to the increase of dependency across all racial groups, but you also know your conditioning of Black Americans has been far more focused and longstanding.
But you liberals, after all the failed policy, won't even acknowledge that maybe mistakes were made.
It is for this reason we can only assume your actions, your condescending benevolence, was a means to exactly the end you intended and achieved.

Submitted by Jer on Sun, 02/05/2012 - 1:36am.
I didn't say they were my circle of friends. At that time, they may very well have still been conservative Democrats, but they, like many in the south, were gradually abandoning the Democratic party--believing it to be more and more dominated by the northern liberals--and switching their allegiance to the Republican party with maybe a stopover in Wallace's populist camp along the way.
This wasn't an overnight phenomenon, nor was race the sole factor. The breakup of the solid Democratic south and the emerging power of the GOP was erratic, evolutionary, and the product of a variety of reasons, only one of which involved racial policies and attitudes. And I'm sure that there were Democratic segregationists in the south then who are still Democrats today.

So, even though the reason that southern democrats left the democrat party was race, it wasn't only race, they were many factors. Except when you point out that southern democrats left the democrat party because they were racist, and they knew they'd be welcome in the Republican party?

of the Ku Klux Klan circa 1999. Please read and specify which items you believe also represent the views of the modern Democratic party:
Thanks.
TRADITIONAL VALUES: The liberal government and its media encourage our young children to behave like primitive savages. Homosexuality, bisexuality, transsexuals, sado-masochism, and every other type of vile perversion is applauded by the scum that control our country. The American Knights demand a return to sanity. We call for a restoration of Christian values to all walks of life.
• CRIME: America is the most violent nation on the face of the earth. Major cities like New York, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta and Philadelphia have been all but over run by hordes of savage criminals. The liberal government papers these subhuman and attempts to disarm law-abiding citizens. The American Knights demand that our cities be liberated from these barbarians. We shall remove the killers and rapists from our streets and execute those that deserve it.
• ABORTION: Thousands of innocent children are slaughtered each day at Baby killing centers all over the country. The government has made abortion a convenient form of birth control. The American Knights will outlaw this barbaric, satanic practice and punish the sadistic doctors who are guilty of these crimes against humanity.
• GUN CONTROL: The so-called gun control bills enacted by the government are nothing but anti-self defense laws designed to disarm law abiding White citizens. The Klan will completely restore the right of all law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.
• THE MEDIA: All three of our television networks are controlled by jews. Most of our daily newspapers, magazines and book publishing companies are owned by jew tycoons. The Klan will smash this jewish monopoly of our mass media. We will restore the right of free speech and open debate of political issues.
• EDUCATION: America's public schools, colleges and universities have been turned into political indoctrination centers run by deprived liberals, communist and jews in our public. WHITE teachers and students are raped and robbed by niggers and other savages on a daily basis. The Klan will remove the criminals from the classrooms and put them behind bars where they belong. Forced bussing will be outlawed. Prayer will be returned to our schools. All teachers who continue to promote anti-American doctrine will be removed and replaced by decent American patriots.
• HOMOSEXUALITY: The Klan will take away all the special rights and privileges granted to homosexuals by the liberal dictatorship over the last few years. Homosexuals will no longer be permitted to adopt children or “marry” each other. Gay bars, gay nightclubs, and gay bathhouses will be shut down.
• IMMIGRATION: Millions of Third World bandits enter our country illegally every year. The Republicans and Democrats do nothing to halt this massive invasion. America is being transformed into a new Mexico. The American Knights call for an end to this madness. We shall halt all immigration from non-White nations and use the U.S. Army to restore integrity to our borders.
• THE NEGRO PROBLEM: The Klan is strongly opposed to the insane policies that discriminate against White people in favor of unqualified and lazy niggers. We shall abolish affirmative action and minority quota systems. All unqualified blacks will be removed from positions of power and influence in our government. The Klan will launch a massive campaign to liberate our cities from the black gangs that presently terrorize them.
• THE ECONOMY: Jewish bankers and shylocks control the American economy with an iron hand. The American Knights will remove these users from power and restore a Constitutional money system. Taxes will be lowered, the corrupt Federal system will be smashed, and the foreign buying up of our nation will be halted. The Klan will place trained economist in charge of our economy and punish the jew tycoons who have brought America to the brink of financial disaster.
• FOREIGN POLICY: The Klan favors a strong foreign policy that closely guards American interests around the world. The Klan will encourage all other White nations to throw off the yoke of zionist/liberal occupation. All aid to worthless third World nations like Israel will be cut off. The foreign policy of the Klan led United States will be: AMERICA FIRST, LAST AND ALWAYS!

I further believe the same "poor victim think" is now permeating most racial groups to the end that it buys more votes. The only reason it is currently so pronounced among African Americans is that the Liberal focus has been so heavily upon them longer than anyone else.

White racists would clearly be uncomfortable in the modern Democratic party, one in which minorities are disproportionaely represented, and with which African-Americans in particular have overwhelmingly aligned themselves.
The last time I checked out a couple of the prominent Klan websites and reviewed their platforms and statements of principles, virtually none were consistent with the precepts which the Democratic party has embraced over the past half century. The days when the Democrats were the party of choice for white Southern racists and segregationists are long gone. I'm not saying they flocked en masse and overnight to the GOP or that the Democratic party is currently completely free of racists. The questions arre complex and involve crossover issues, a variety of motivating factors, political, enconomic and social interests, and the answers can't be stuffed into a neat little box.
But to continue throwing Bull Connor and Lester Maddox and George Wallace and Ross Barnett and Orville Faubus and other political fossils of a bygone era into the face of contemporary Democrats has lost its relevance, its impact, and its sting.

How about the giving of welfare so easily that black women will refuse to marry the father of their chidlren so they can receive even more welfare. I have worked with inner city families, mostly hispanic and blacks, in Chicago. They have zero problem admitting to the FACT that they do not marry the daddy of their baby because marrying the dad would make their welfare checks, the food stamps and all of the other government funded aids to go down!! and they be darn if they have to work for a living!

Liberal policies are turning off ambition in this nation. Why work hard, why earn money to live on if government will give you everything? come and live in the inner cities of Chicago where more people over the summers die than soldiers died in Iraq during the same summers!
The destruction of the black family lays at the feet of Liberal policies. Oh and don't worry, I know this is also happening with whites. This is no longer a minority only problem. Liberal policies destroy ambition since Liberals NEVER take into account human nature!
I will give you a personal experience which just happened to me. I just received a pretty nice raise from my job thanks to my hard workd, great yearly review, etc, etc....and guess what. My gross income is more, but since I moved up from tax bracket, my take home pay is a few dollars less!!!! Thus, I ask you Jer, why work hard if I earn more income, the more I will be taxed! Again, another Liberal policy!
But heck, keep on denying real world experince and talk about college theories and other silly stuff.
I have always said it, Liberals do not live in the real world.

But what is telling about your post is a smug admission of control over one racial demographic. That you liberals continue to cull their numbers with nonsense about their less-evolved ability to control their own copulative urges is an indictment on your own beliefs, not mine.
You really believe it's conservatives who build cathedrals to black slaughter so closely to concentrations of black people? That's not my conscience talking, it's yours.

Please review my post. I attributed none of the above to you.
"Smug admission of control"? That's a curious twisting of what was a straightforward statement of fact concerning the voting patterns of African-Americans over the past several decades into a crude and careless fallacy.
Cool, how about you speaking for your conscience, and I'll speak for mine. In this era--in fact for many years now--the issue is and has been one of information, education and access for those in the poorer communities, which are disproportionately inhabited by blacks. At one time it was the well-to-do who could afford air fare to fly to a facility in a distant state where abortion was legal. The poor availed themselves of the services of back-alley butchers and coat hangers.

Stopping a donation is quite easy. By credit or debit card, it's a phone call to the bank and they must stop it if a complaint is issued. Same for stopping payment on a check. There's a fee involved.
I urge eveyone to call their credit card co and cancel!
Submitted by MaximusBraveheart on Fri, 02/03/2012 - 7:37pm.
Most people give by credit card... please call right away to cancel. PAY for the stop check! They made their bed as they say. Studies show increased risk of breast cancer in those who have had abortions. And then they give money to PP. Also 100% risk of death for the babies who were alive and healthy, but will never be born now. Goes so well with their message. What logic they have. And PP does not do mammograms, refers them to someone who does. Why not pay those people instead!

Look at that 'victory-lap' photo of Andrea. There's no happiness on her face. Indeed, Leftist Media Hacks like Andrea will look back on the Obama regime as their worst four years ever. Why? Because they shoveled Obama at us; his failings and ineptness turned into THEIR failings and ineptness. The anger and rage coming from all Leftist Media Hacks is testimony to this fact. Also, because they've lost control of the narrative. Their little Sunday Morning TV shows are waning in popularity, devolving into nothing but Leftists backslapping other Leftists.

More conservative women, who up to now contributed to all these Pink Ribbon requests, will step on the sidelines. I did that starting a few years ago when I first learned of their contributions to the Baby Killing Mill called Planned Parenthood, but most women to whom I mentioned it, knew nothing about their actually supporting PP when they gave to SK. Millions more have found out about it now and I hope such affect their gifts. Solution is to find a local group supporting cancer research, verify that they don't give money to the phony PP which does nothing but abortions, and if such is the case, contribute to them. Bottom line result here is fewer contriubution to SK from pro-life women, I hope.
Thinking the same thing, same experience.

Bullying Susan G. Komen

Bullying Susan G. Komen
The huge flap over the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation’s decision to cease funding Planned Parenthood of America, PPOA, and then to rescind that recission is nothing more than a tempest in the abortion teapot. It’s also an excellent example of the power of bullying.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure is as dedicated to curing breast cancer as Planned Parenthood is dedicated to killing the pre-born. However, when the foundation pulled its funding of PPOA last week, it was a wake-up call, if one were needed, that libs are far more concerned for preserving abortion rights than they are with preserving the lives of women.
Under a torrent of incensed bullying attacks, the foundation quickly seemed to reverse its decision though not before libs launched a withering onslaught of abuse of Komen.
The bullying died down following the apparent reversal, which is ironic since the foundation simply decided to adhere to its previous commitment to pay PPOA over half a million dollars but would provide no additional funding because, despite its advertising, the nation’s most profitable and prolific abortionists doesn’t give a damn about breast cancer.
Komen caved to the bullying tactics then made it clear it won’t support organizations not engaged in breast cancer research or treatment or if they are proven guilty of criminal activities.
As background, Susan Komen died at age 36 in 1980, a victim of the plague of breast cancer after her sister Nancy Goodman Brinker swore to her that she would do all she could to eradicate that scourge. . . .
