Raw Video Shows Gov. Brewer Warmly Greeted Obama Upon Arrival
By Ken Shepherd | January 26, 2012 | 17:05
While the liberal news media has been making much of an out-of-context snapshot of Gov. Jan Brewer (R-Ariz.) supposedly dressing down President Obama, missing in all the discussion is the exchange in context as could be provided by video footage of the chat.
The Washington Post's 44 Blog has such raw video -- via the Associated Press -- in a post this afternoon. Unfortunately much of the conversation between Brewer and Obama is obscured by the presidential limo, but initial footage from another camera angle shows Brewer warmly greeted the nation's chief executive as he stepped onto the tarmac. [video follows page break]
The media meme is that Brewer rudely disrespected President Obama and the office he holds by wagging her finger at the nation's chief executive. But given the limited camera angles and an utter inability to hear the full conversation as it developed, there's no way to independently establish how the conversation evolved, or devolved as the case may be.
Chalk this up as yet another way in which the media just aren't committed to telling the truth.

Ken . why does the video from the first camera suddenly
Submitted by Gary Hall on Thu, 01/26/2012 - 5:52pm.
Ken, Here's the question: why does the video from the first camera suddenly end - at the 19 sec. mark?
From the vantage point of the first camera, it appears that the entire exchange was crystal clear. I find it difficult to imagine that suddenly that camera man stopped recording the event. The AP stamp is on both video shots? Are they hiding it?
So, perhaps there is a "way to independently establish how the conversation evolved, or devolved as the case may be."
So, where's the footage, AP?

The Post's 44 blog explained it was because the camera guy moved to get more B-roll set up from a rope line where Obama was going to shake more hands.
Hmm. .

Hmm. . well, if true, even that shows a bit of bias, when you think about it. How do you walk away from such a face to face?
Thanks Ken.

Where's the Video?

Gary....that's the question everyone should be asking: Where's the Video? There is no way a cameraman would stop recording and give up that intimate and crystal clear vantage point after clearance from Secret Service....NO WAY! Hopefully, Ken will dig deep and find the answers. Who were the AP cameramen, and has anyone asked them?
Well...

If the Anti-American president doesn't much like having his failures put in front of him, then perhaps he should stay in States 51 and above?
The man's a fool, and his mouth is almost as uncontrollable as bidens which brings up the whole Dumb and DUMBER thing all over again.

Media lying to protect Obama?

Media lying to protect Obama? Yes they would and they do. He is thin-skinned and cannot take any criticism. After all he is the "Won" don't you know? He is a dispicable, narcissictic liar and a very small (as in stature) man. He has earned no respect and he has diminished the office of the President.
Obama is a low life piece of excrement that came from the cesspool of Chicago politics.

…given him an earful. We now have proof that the size of the ears has nothing to do with the capacity of the ear to hear bad news... or the soul to face up to it.
I’m just surprised he didn’t play a round of golf while ‘hear’ in AZ.

Jan is, unlike BHO, a professional and an adult.
Not a whiny, community organizing, agitator.
Of course the lamestream media is going to take his side... they manufactured the "legend."
I wonder....

Why abruptly change viewing angles to the obscured view?

Why did the video abruptly change viewing angles to the obscured view?
It looks like some creative editing to me, just the the finger wagging photo. Obviously there is video which has been deliberately kept from the public from that first, unobscured camera angle. What is the media hiding from us?
Governor Brewer should demand that whoever filmed that first angle release all of the video.
I wonder which FEMA camp Gov. Brewer is headed for

He may be POTUS (hopefully only for a short while longer!!), but he is NOT her boss nor does he have any constitutional or legal authority to talk down to the governor of a state. He treated Bobby Jindal, Rick Perry and other governors in similar dismissive fashion.
He responded exactly the way a malignant narcissist would be expected. He has no business showing such rudeness and disrespect to the governor of a state, and quite frankly it shows just how thin-skinned and petty he is.

I'll tell ya, doc.............I've heard all the hogwash about Boy Barry being 'classy', and 'stylish',and 'brilliant', and 'manly', and bla bla bla bla..............and I've NEVER been able to figure out where it came from. This petulant prick/petty punk has NO 'class' that I can recognize, and he seems to revel in his ability to be a snot-nosed punk - so I can only figure that it is his own definition of 'class', and the MSM is 'getting his back' for it.
And the nano-millimeter thinness of his skin is legendary - at least to those of us who have a little common sense, but once again, the State-Run Media will do whatever they need to do to try and deflect his personality deficiencies and his lack of any discernable 'gravitas' (great liberal word - especially when you're throwing it in their faces!!!) by shifting the focus onto something or somebody else - other than Barry - as the negative factor in the equation.
And - as you well know, doc - he doesn't consider ANYTHING that he says or does to be 'rude' or 'disrespectful', especially as it relates to people who don't kow-tow to him or kiss his skinny psuedo-black okole.
He probably should have been in Georgia anyway.

Instead of pretending Laws do not apply to him, maybe an appearance at an eligibility hearing would have been more in line with protecting his future.

That's right. Governor Brewer did greet Obama, or tried to, as nicely as she could upon his arrival here. but it was Obama who scurried down AF1's stairs and who made a beeline for the Gov. to b*tch about how she'd hurt his feelings (aww) with what the Gov. had written about him in her now more than year-old book.
meanwhile, we've got a Dead Border Patrol officer on our hands, thanks to Operation Fast & Furios (with his having tried to "save or create" a favorite Mexican drug cartel and) because the left wanted to later nix the 2nd amendment altogether...And, we're also being sued by his hyper-virtuous AG, among other things! but hey, what do we know? because Jim "that's bullsh*t" Messina still believes that they've got a chance to win Arizona in November.
yeah, good luck with that one boys. Oh, and to you too, Madam Slumlord.

What's the matter, Obama, don't like the independent women types? Is that why you stormed out in mid-sentence?
Obama, let me give you a piece of advice: Be a man. Stand your ground! Don't walk away like a petulant child! You're trying to get reelect as President. You can't just walk away when things gets tough, it's embarrassing!
In regard to this particular battle of wills, you LOST, Obama, big time! What's going to happen the next time someone "disrespects" you, like Kim Jong-un? Are you going to turn tail and run away, like you did just now?
Obama: the wussy! Is that what you want people to say? Well, that's what we're saying now, you wussy!

From a still-shot photog, not a videographer. At any rate, both sides agree that Obama ungraciously brought up his umbrage with a passage from her book. It's perfectly fine for him to bring it up, but right off the bat in a receiving line? He couldn't wait until a later, more private exchange to speak his piece about that?
why wait?

Words Have Meanings, in Books and at Airports

Words Have Meanings, in Books and at Airports
Remember when your mother told you, “Words have meanings! Be careful of what you say because what you say can hurt people. What you say and how you say it tells others the type of person you are and what they will think of you.”
No? Well, I can’t remember my mom saying anything like that either. She was always too busy warning me not to play in the street and telling me to go wash my face.
But both spoken and written words can have powerful meanings and can be reflective of both the character of the speaker and the speaker’s estimation of the character of the addressee.
President Barack Hussein is very adept at using words, words and cliches fed to him by his handlers and dictated by his teleprompters, meaningless vocabulary like “hope,” and “change,” and “yes, we can.” He’s not so adept at dealing with those who disagree with him.
The notoriously thin-skinned Obama who early on in his run for the presidency expressed sensitivity over the obsession with his Dumbo ears and ruled out any political exploitatation of his daughters and then consistently exploited Malia and Sasha, met face-to-face Wednesday with Arizona governor Jan Brewer who seemed to mince no words with the president.
Brewer didn’t mention Dumbo but they did engage in a heated exchange on the Phoenix-Gateway Airport tarmac. Obama’s MSM and the leftist blogosphere have latched onto the photo of Brewer wagging her finger at the president of the United States as clear evidence conservatives have no respect for the presidency and as emblematic of conservatives’ disrespect for the country.
Based on a picture, the ever-objective, HufPo’s Michael Shaw described Brewer as “a reactionary governor, overflowing with the same lack of respect for the President as the radical far-right she’s aligned with” and called it an “ambush” despite raw video showing Brewer greeted warmly him with a big smile and handshake.
Although she had to publicly say Obama “loves his country,” the polite and dignified Gov. Brewer may have no respect for him at all but she is concerned over the integrity of America’s borders and has the deepest regard for our country, a concern and patriotic feeling the president has yet to demonstrate.
Full details of that brief airport contretemps and the contents of the letter the governor handed to Obama haven’t been released, and may never be.
However, it is known that the governor and the president weren’t happy with one another. He didn’t like her criticism of him in her book, Scorpions for Breakfast, she wasn’t pleased with his rudeness and walking away before she was done speaking.
(As an aside, sales of Scorpions for Breakfast skyrocketed after the finger-wagging picture hit the blogosphere.)
According to Politico.com, a disingenuous committed Obamian supporter, Brewer said, “He brought up my book. And he was a little tense. I asked him if he read [it] . . . and he said he read the excerpt and he didn’t think that I was very cordial. He was somewhat thin-skinned and a little tense to say the least. I was trying to be very calm.”
It seems our president is developing a petulant pattern over pesky, un-cordial words. . .
