Conservative Woman-hating Tina Brown Launches 'Women in the World Foundation'
By Ken Shepherd | September 13, 2011 | 15:12
Daily Beast/Newsweek editor-in-chief Tina Brown today announced the launch of the new Women in the World Foundation, which holds itself out as "a powerful, new initiative dedicated to highlighting and driving solutions for advancing women and girls" that "will serve as a resource to all who seek to learn about and engage on the issues facing women and girls."
Sounds like a worthwhile venture until you remember that Tina Brown has a very narrow vision of what it means to be an empowered woman, one that discounts political conservatives like Michele Bachmann.
For example, as my colleague Geoff Dickens noted in August, "After a run of victories by female candidates in the 2010 GOP primaries, Brown on the June 10 edition of ABC's Good Morning America, called the wins: 'a blow to feminism.'" [see video embedded below]

Let's see how they take on Sharia and the women of Islam in the very first few issues.

First Point of Order: Liberating the sisters in Islamic countries
Actions:
1) Picket the Iranian and Saudi Arabian embassies
2) Burning the Quran at a prominent public location
3) Sending Jane Fonda workout videos to oppressed Muslim women
4) Freedom Celebration -- celebrating the American & allied men and women who have liberated Afghanistan and Iraq, built schools for children of both genders, and set the standard for equality between men and women in the workforce.
Can't wait for this to start.

Ken:
As punctuated, the headline to this entry puts things 180 degrees out of phase, because it infers that Tina Brown is a conservative. The hyphen should be moved so it reads "Conservative-Woman Hater Tina Brown..." Or "Tina Brown, Hater of Conservative Women, Launches..."

We 'infer'. To infer is to deduce.
Just sayin'.

Kudos to Tina Brown.

Women have been silenced for too long. Through this worthy foundation, they will finally be able to rise up and make their collective voice heard.
As long as that voice is liberal.....

Bachmann's not exactly thrilling me either with her political views and performance in the republican debates.

Thing is, she isn't my cup of tea.................... but ANYONE that takes in over 20 children and gives them a chance at a decent life is OK with me.
The point here is that BECAUSE she is a Conservative WOMAN, SHE would not be granted ANY "voice" as would NO Conservative WOMAN by the feckless and clueless hack.
I may not agree with every Conservative woman, but they have more balls than most of the men.

Like other Trojan horses of the left, it has everything to do with “empowering” left-wing political causes through the use of women. I can guarantee conservative women will not be welcomed at this new “foundation.” And secondly, there is no need to “empower” women as we effectively have a female-centric society. From the courts to academia to the media, men have been marginalized and denigrated.
