WaPo, NYT Solicit Help From Readers to Examine Palin E-mail Archive
Both the Washington Post and the New York Times are looking for readers to help them comb through every jot and tittle of Sarah Palin's official gubernnatorial e-mail correspondence.
I guess that's a few more jobs the Obama administration can claim credit for, especially since it indirectly amounts to free oppo research for the 2012 Obama campaign.

Remember how much the NYT and WaPo urged readers to go through the ClimateGate e-mails? Oh, that's right - not at all. Their readers might have found out that man-made global warming is a gigantic fraud - how awful.
ClimateGate - the revelation that the pseudo-scientists at East Anglia Universty know just as much about the atmosphere as Harvard law professors know about the Constitution - deadeyedan
This is unprecedented in the history of "journalism."

Don't the newspeople from these newspapers build themselves up as being awesome "elites"? If they're such awesome elitists, why do they need help from others to do their detective work for them? I don't know about the rest of you, but I think a Pulitzer Prize will probably be awarded to these great and awesome elitists who work at the NYT or "Washington Post" in researching these emails, and everybody knows what a prestigous and impressive award a Pulitzer Prize is.

If only they gave the same scrutiny to bill clinton's "bimbo" allegations or Rep Weiner's victims or Obama's relationship with Resko and Ayers and Wright and Edwards' dealings with Hunter.
But hey, they did work hard destroying Ryan (Obama's senate opposition) and they really got good info on Newt's purchase of jewelry at Tiffany's.
Or Obamacare!

How about if they just R-E-A-D the bill before it is passed? How about in the many months after it did pass?
Yeah, it's way more important to catch a misspelling by Governor Palin so they can prove what a dunce she really is.

Wow - Certainly would seem that if they wanted to dig thru anybody's emails, in the moment, it would be Anthony Weiner's.
Now, one has to wonder what the reaction (you listening here Howie Kurtz?) would be from the national MSM, if a conservative leaning newspaper, or cable news organization put out such a request on a Democrat Party candidate -- perhaps Mr O, himself.

Palin will survive this and retain roughly the same level of support she has now. The NYT and WaPo will further damage their own credibility with this and their readership will continue to decline. The best part of all : these impotent lefties will continue to waste their ammunition where it can do no further good while the dark horse Cain continues to attract support. By the time these wretches realize the threat to boy Obama, it will be too late for them to have any meaningful effect on the outcome.

This is where we make a stand. If we allow Palin to be labaled as unelectable because of the left wing media attacks. Then what good is the system as it stands. I feel Palin is the best candidate to be President in 2012. But plain and simple, if the media has a hand, a big hand, any hand in choosing it's opposition's candidates, then the game is over. So I will stand and fight one last time for the best available candidate. After this we take 'em down.

Instead, they go after a private citizen. looking at emails that are years old and have no relevance to current national interests. These scumbags are the worst of the worst.

This is dangerous ground the NYT and WaPo are entering. What if just one of the inquisitors, err volunteer investigators, latches onto or tries to bury one of Sarah’s personal E-mails sent from a non-Alaska owned gizmo in their report. Make a long story short. “It’s Jail Time Baby!”
And here’s a good conspiracy theory: What if the WP and NYT are trying to distance themselves from reviewing Sarah’s personal E-mails by bundling them in with the official E-Mails… The poor schmuk who fall for this scam will be left holding the bag… you can bet these sleazy outfit’s already have their legal “i’s and t’s” dotted and crossed.

I find the description of "Pinko" by Wikipedia to be most enlightening. It also exemplifies the classic phrase "what's old is new".
