NewsBusters Publisher Bozell Exposes Slanted Medicare Reporting on May 27 'Fox & Friends'
If the media are so worried about Medicare cuts, "why don't [they] look at ObamaCare, which takes it away?" NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell asked on the May 27 "Fox & Friends."
Instead, the media have been busy furthering Democratic talking points about the Republican-proposed budget plan by Paul Ryan.

In fact, there's a 70 percent increase in Medicare spending under the Ryan budget, something you wouldn't know by hearing the media trumpet Democratic claims that the plan would "gut" the program by eventually making it a voucher system for seniors.

To the media, anything done regarding budget controls is a "cut" - even if it is an increase in funding.
But a question: Does the repeal of "Don't ask - Don't tell" mean that there has been a cut in the number of hetro-sexual's serving in the military or an increase?
I am so confused over media-speak.

These media personalities who are wildly eager to mischaracterize the Medicare debate and dishonestly demonize the people making serious attempts to save Medicare apparently have no offspring or family that they care about. Any decent person would not lower themselves to the level these people have if they had family that would be damaged by their actions.
Even though my comments don't count for all that much in the larger picture, my children and grandchildren are the reason I try to take a stand for the things that are best for them in the long run. In other words, I actually do have "skin in the game". -bidn-

Ryan/Rubio 2012 = dream ticket and guaranteed ridance of the criminal-in-chief. With the current field running we do not stand a chance against O and the media. Paul Ryan MUST be persuaded to run. Otherwise we are screwed. He is ELECTABLE and scares the sh*t out of the left and O. Run Paul Run!! Save us!!
