Michael Moore: America 'Founded on Genocide and Built on the Backs of Slaves'
In a set of tweets a few minutes ago decrying the shooting of bin Laden, leftist filmmaker Michael Moore attacked the Obama administration for not capturing bin Laden and bringing him back alive for trial.
After comparing Confederate general Robert E. Lee and Confederate president Jefferson Davis to bin Laden, Moore groused, "I'm just saying, I want my America back."
He then added, "I dunno, maybe it never was. We are a nation founded on genocide and built on the backs of slaves."

I've done my research, and my family never, ever, owned slaves. However, slavery in this country has a much shorter history than it does in the middle east and Africa. How about getting your high horse on that one Moore?

I danced (not a pretty sight, indeed!) and rejoiced when I heard the news of Bin Laden's death. Civilized? When Bin Laden created war against humanity- he decided to be a mass murderer of humans. He wrapped himself with a religion and waged war against innocent human beings. He gets no rights. The decision to remove him from this world was justified. Actually, I would have appreciated him suffering for a week or two with rats finishing him off but that's me. Whether or not there is a hell, Bin Laden swims with the fishes as fish food. I was looking at his tweet list (or whatever the hell you call it) Monday after his craziness first got noticed. Looking back through them, I'm pretty sure he indicated that he had voted in the recent Canadian election -and oddly enough seemed quite proud that the Canadian liberals took the roll of Official Opposition Party [paraphrasing, I don't remember the actual term].
Two things on this- The Official Opposition Party is the term used to describe the party not in power, or the minority party. The liberals took that moniker as a result of that election which swept conservatives into power by a large margin. In other words he was celebrating losing. So point one- he's an idiot.
Point two is, if this is true, is he a Canadian citizen and can he vote in Canada and the US? I don't know how that works. Shawn? Point 2A is, what's this stuff about "his" America? He sounds canuck to me.

Maybe if this fat turd was really concerned about this nation's history of slavery he would draw his attention how we in 2011 have become a nation of slaves, not to some plantation owner but to our federal government. The first five months of every year I am owned by my federal master who I must work to free myself of my tax liability. The remainder of the year pays to house, feed, educate my family and with whats left the decreasing ability to enjoy the fruits of my labor.
