For Second Straight Day, MSNBC Hypes 'War on Voting' with Biased Segment in Daytime Coverage
For the second day in a row, MSNBC worked up a biased segment with Rock the Vote president Heather Smith about a "war on voting" -- see screen capture below page break-- by Republican legislators in numerous states where the GOP controls both state legislative chambers, such as New Hampshire.
Today "NewsNation" host Tamron Hall picked up the torch from colleague Thomas Roberts, who conducted a softball interview with Smith on March 8.
Hall even parroted some of his script from the day before:
With such a strong bloc of these young people voting Democratic, Republican leaders in some key swing states are looking to even the playing field for 2012.

Like Roberts, Hall hyped as damning the complaint of a New Hampshire Republican legislator who discounted young voters and "foolish" and reflexively liberal.
Towards the end of her March 9 interview, Hall asked Smith, "Is there a legitimate argument though, behind, perhaps even the last legislation or proposal that's being considered [that wouldn't let students vote in their college towns]. Is it all just to keep young people for voting for the Democratic Party?"
"That sounds strange," Hall added, prompting Smith to insist again that there's nothing but naked partisanship behind the push for voter registration reform in the Granite State.
That was good enough for Hall:
Well, Heather, I know you and your organization work to get young people out to vote so we'll counter any efforts to keep them down. Heather Smith, president of Rock the Vote. Thanks, Heather.
At no point during her "NewsNation" program, however, did Hall bring on a proponent of the proposed law nor did she inform voters that any effort was being made to give air time to a supporter of the reforms.

Except maybe this one.
Yes, this is all terribly discriminatory against dead people,

illegals, nonexistent district residents, and people who like to vote early and often. In other words, the primary Democrat electoral constituency. Oh and it also discriminates against the truckloads of uncounted votes that mysteriously appear during tight elections that all miraculously go to Democrats to push them over the finish line.MSNBC Promoting Voter Fraud

MSNBC is pretty transparent in their efforts to support the unrestricted subversion of elections in favor of Democrats. Did they think no one could figure this out? Once again they treat their viewers as though they're all too stupid to catch on the their "clever" scheme. There is indeed a war on legitimate and accurate votes. MSNBC is complicit in allowing illegals, groups like the ACORN spin offs any other left or right organizations corrupting the voting process. Since MSNBC is so eager to shut down fraud investigations, it's only logical to assume they are aware of the benefit to the Democrats.Boilt It Down,

If I had it my way this is how I would change things: 1) Absentee ballots would need to ARRIVE for counting by voting day instead of being postmarked on voting day. (I'm sick of this "we need to wait 3 weeks for all the ballots to come in" crap, jeeze, you're voting absentee so mail the things early already) 2) Minimum voting age would be 40 3) Anyone on public assistance other than Social Security, Medicare, and unemployment would be ineligible to vote in that year for the level of government you received the cash from. (I excluded those handouts because the people receiving them probably contributed to them) 4) Anyone in a state that received a federal bailout and has not yet paid it back (with interest) will not be able to vote in a Federal election nor will that state be allowed to have members sit in Congress. (i.e. if you can't run your own state then you don't have the wisdom to influence the other 49) 5) Every 4-8 years a voter must pass a test that displays basic knowledge of the US Constitution in order to vote for Federal elections, and another test on that state's constitution in order to vote for that state's elections. 6) All signs and documents at the polls will be in English and only in English. 7) Government identification will be necessary, as is a SS# that is registered with that name. If the name doesn't match or the SS# was already used then you will not be allowed to vote. 8) And no more ballot initiatives. This is a republic and our representatives are the only ones who should be voting on laws and amendments. If you don't trust your rep to do the right thing then work to get wise reps elected in the future, don't act like you get to vote to pass laws.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, are we to conclude Rock the Vote wants UNdefined voting laws? Yeah, that sounds about right. d(^_^)b http://libertyatstake.blogspot.com/ "Because the Only Good Progressive is a Failed Progressive"
