Update (16:53): The February 4-6 briefings have since been added to the archive page.

A total of five daily press briefings, including one documenting a testy February 5 exchange (embedded at right) between Obama Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and ABC's Jake Tapper,  are missing from the White House press briefings page (h/t e-mail tipster Abby Bender; see Feb. 12 screencap here).

As you may recall, we at NewsBusters noted how the White House initially failed to archive and prominently feature its press briefings on the official WhiteHouse.gov Web site.

Maybe if Tapper had had a "Jesus come to me" moment during his break from McDonalds...?

How dare you, comrade Tapper? Questioning the Official Pravda Minister of Bull----, I mean Information!

What's going on at the White House?

"What's going on at the White House?"

The White House is clearly in organizational chaos. Lines of authority, decision making process, who does what and when, who gets credit for what, who works for whom, who has the ear of the Imperial Obama.

Who can be surprised? The chaos is creating the daily examples of sloppy decisions, incredibly clumsy administrative stumbling. It's right there on live television.

A good saying--can't remember where it's from, someone will know--"Every tyranny plants the seeds of its own destruction."

That's what we are witnessing. Can't happen too soon.

For liberal Democrats and the Old Media, everything is crisis, chaos, calamity and catastrophe. That justifies stealing your property and liberties.

We should be so lucky ;-)

The Obama administration

The Obama administration was so proud of the fact that they were going to be so much more tech savy. President Black-Barry. Ooh! Look at this guy. He's a real multi-tasker.

Frankly, I'm not impressed. It's one thing to show off your gadgets. It's another thing to actually put them to good use. Of course, this all presumes that the omissions are actually technical glitches. I smell b.s., not brilliance.

I smell b.s., not brilliance.

"I smell b.s., not brilliance."  Agree QueenMum!   Why do we get the feeling Katie & her MSSM cohorts, Nancy the Great & cohorts, and Obamesiah & cohorts are feeding us, the USA, to the hungry tigers & paranas.

He obviously doesn't know how to use the calculator on the stupid thing. Well on second thought, maybe that is a blessing?

As The White House Turns

I swear this administration is looking more and more like a bad soap opera.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you."

Open - Transparent - Change

Oh, I understand now, Transparent as in "We Can't See them" is that what President Obama was promising?

"Most men lead lives of quiet desperation"... until they get fed-up enough to finally say something about it!

Oh, so the WhiteHouse.gov

Oh, so the WhiteHouse.gov site is actually no more than a propaganda tool for Obama?

Shock.

Dismay.

'Hero' Worship

In addition to the mysteriously missing press briefings and recent Presidential stump speeches, the site's front page always has a large photograph of a current Presidential event.  Dandy.  It's how these photos are file named that's interesting to me.  Without fail, they all contain the designation 'hero'; even a missing picture from a January blog item.
