Black religious leaders did not stand up for Wright even as they understood and sympathized with the prophetic theology he was steeped in. 

 Ummm. Perhaps someone should tell this biblically challenged liberal that the word "PROPHETIC" means "forward looking" discerning that which is TO COME. The future. That is the last thing that Jeremiah Wright's regressive brand of false doctrine, masquerading as Christianity was about. There was nothing "forward looking" about it.  It was totally back to the sixties, stuck in the mud, the white man is the eternal bad guy with no hope of redemption and apparently no permission to change! Nothing "prophetic" about that. In fact if his "ministry" was "prophetic" he would have rejoiced at the coming BLACK PRESIDENT which any PROPHET would have known! PWND!

..then why on earth was Eleanor Clift not  carrying Wright's message to the electorate during the heat of the Democratic primary this past season? After all, this voice crying in the wilderness was preaching to the church, that one President Bill Clinton had screwed over the black community [Wright's and Obama's communal community], as he had done Monica Lewinski - and further, that Hillary Clinton would do the same thing.

Should not the MSM played that social issue out in full fanfare prior to and during the Democratic convention?

Are we to assume that Eleanor Clift does not find this offensive? Perhaps she finds it factual. Whatever she finds it to be, I find that she, and the MSM, ought to be tied to a chair and forced to watch it 100 times; then asked the question: "how in the world did you manage to not ask, during the heat of the campaign, Bill & Hillary, Obama and Rev. Wright about the implications of his message here on the Democratic party?

Pardon me for asking, but who on earth is Eleanor Clift?  She is not identified in the post above.

Does she have any claim to any credentials for make public pronouncements on the validity of one’s Christianity?  I would say that anyone who truly understands Christianity would be a lot more circumspect than she is.

by Warren.  What they fail to recognize or actually they don't care, is that THEY offend everyone else.  Obviously their 'feeeelings' are more important than anyone elses'. 

Eleanor Clift seems to be the ignorant one. while Warrn is a bit more bible centered (if possible for him), while Wright is way off to the left for the Bible does not teach Black Liberation Theology at all as his sect proclaims in their literature. Warrens problem is he to is a liberal Theologian controversal and teaches manythings the Bible does not teach clearly. Purpose driven church, Life EtAl are just a few examples of his error in Bible teaching. The fact is the only person ignorant is Clift. She doesn't know what she is talking about.

But the Media and many unsaved persons will indeed claim that real Bible Believing and living Christians are ignorant. the truth is we are not. we are the most enlightened ones.  for we know where we are gong after death so death does not scare us.  we don't worship a cross but a man who died on one and rose the third day and who is alive for ever more. How do I know that for sure He Lives in Me.

for example Jesus was not born on Dec 25th. but near teh end of Sept or early Oct.  Roman Chotholic Church proclaimed a pagan soldiers holiday as his birth to avoid a revolt from Constantines Military.  Then after the Reformation the Episcopailian(SP?) church, Lutheran and Methodist, Church of England/Anglegan Church continued the Holiday for many of their members were ex RC.

Oh well, Ingnorance is bliss.  the more ignorant you are the Blissful you will be.

But we who practice the Bible as well as believe it give grace to those who would hold to this tradition. for they are our brethren if they are trully saved.
