Four days before the infamous "lipstick on a pig" remark by Sen. Obama, Gov. Sarah Palin was depicted as the lipstick-wearing porcine embodiment of "Federal Budget Earmarks" in a St. Louis Post-Dispatch cartoon by R.J. Matson (see picture at right; h/t tipster Chuck Hodges).
Yesterday NewsBusters contributor Warner Todd Huston noted that Obama's remarks sounded remarkably similar to a speech bubble in that ran in a Tom Toles cartoon the same day, September 5, in the Washington Post.
It's not too far-fetched to say Team Obama is cribbing his stump speech laugh lines from the liberal funnies.

As a conservative it has been satisfying to see the use of language and possible implication thrown back on a Democrat. Any criticism conservatives make against the Lord, Most High Barak Obama, they say that it is racist.

Then, Democrats compare Obama to Jesus Christ with their insipid "Jesus was a community organizer..." slogan. First of all, Christ was not a community organizer. He is the Savior.
Obama and the Democrats better be careful with that slogan because Barry could come across more like Pilate than any governor. When it came to Jesus's fate, Pilate, in effect, voted "present."
Obama could come across as King Herod following the birth of Christ. Herod had men murder the innocents -- Christianity's first martyrs. I think they were born alive, too.

Then I saw the old fish in wrap called change comment he made directly after the Lipstick-Pig comment and he seemed to refer to McCain.
He cribbed his comments about "Policy" exceptions from a cartoon and I wondered if he's able to form cogent arguments about McCain and Palin on his own.
Then I see the carton depicting Palin as a lipsticked pig and I wonder more if the O'Bumbles campaign ever advanced beyond cartoons and Mad Magazine, because a lot of the (N)One's material seems more and more derived from them.
I also see the inane, whiney attack the DNC has resorted to about how the RNC is making things up in their charges of Lipstickgate, yet, where was the media decrying the blatantly false ads put out by His Hopelessness: The Obama about:
McCain does "not remember any more" how many houses he has. McCain NEVER said he didn't "remember" nor did he say "any more", a lie thrown in for good measure by the lying DNC and Barry's campaign.
The JOKE McCain told about $5 Million being rich during the Saddleback forum. McCain, Warren and the crowd at Saddleback laughed and McCain quickly denounced that number and noted it would probably be used against him. Probably? Absolutely! O'Booboo immediately used it to attack McCain.
