Video Replay: Tony Snow Accepting Buckley Award at 2008 MRC Gala

One of my fond memories of Tony Snow was his moving speech from this year's MRC Gala. In this video, Tony is accepting the 2nd annual William F. Buckley Jr. Award for Media Excellence.

He was a great man and will be greatly missed.

That is classic Tony Snow. 

We should all take away a lesson or two (or twenty) from this fine gentleman, who will be sorely missed.

There's no point in praying for eternal rest to someone who didn't do anything. Tony Snow, however, gave everything to whatever he was doing, with zest, skill, and often sheer joy. God bless his family and friends, and may God grant him a little rest.

Thank you for posting this speech...

Tony was another Happy Warrior along with Buckley in my eyes...

Bring it on indeed...

I also loved how he inserted Keith Olbermann and Obama into the speech...

Beautiful speech, by a beautiful man...

He was also an engine of destiny in my opinion. 

I am going to miss him so much.
