Express Caption: 'Go Ahead' and 'Slap' Tucker Carlson

Photo of Ken Shepherd.

NewsBusters.org | MRC.orgSome joker at the Washington Post-published Express tabloid apparently isn't a big fan of MSNBC's Tucker Carlson. The caption accompanying Carlson's picture in a March 11 story reads "Go ahead: Slap him in your imagination."

The photo appeared above a snarky headline reading "Haze of Smug Disappears From Washington Skies," referring to Carlson being dislodged from his one-hour MSNBC perch in favor of a "Race for the White House" program to be anchored by NBC White House correspondent David "Dance Dance Revolution" Gregory.

A kinder, gentler take, sans caption, can be found online at the Express Web site.

There's no word yet on whether Gregory will reprise his famous dance moves on his new show.

Update/Correction (17:26): Corrected from earlier post that mistakenly referred to the Express as the DC Examiner. My apologies for the mislabeling.

without the bow-tie he's

without the bow-tie he's nobody

does anyone even watch pmsnbc?

except for the MRC monitors, mom's of on-air personalities, cultural anthropoligists

" Race for the White. " LOL!

" Race for the White. "

LOL! Check that link

" Gregory's new show is called "Race for the White" ..."

Wow, When Carlson is consider "Right-WIng"

This guy is so soft on liberals is maddening.  And yet this is what MSNBC puts out there as their token conservative only to can him for a guy who carries the water for the Bush-Bashing wing-nuts.

I always hear about how horrible Alan Colmes is at defending his positions and such.  Well, I could never stand more than a few minutes of Tucker on Crossfire as he bascially gave the point to Begala time after time, Colmes rarely admits defeat, Tucker made a career out of it, giving in to Maddow on his Mess show as well.

I won't miss his mug much myself.

ROFL...Hey I just posted

ROFL...

Hey I just posted about all of this on OT...and mb has a great link too that she added...which I commented on already.

Come on over mb and post your link again...as I don't need to put mine in anymore...well I guess I will add mine here about the replacement of Tucker for Gregory.

Rosie O may be on the way.

Additional salt in the

Additional salt in the wounds from your link bigtimer:

"MSNBC also announced that Andrea Mitchell, a veteran political correspondent for both MSNBC and NBC News, would lead another new, campaign-oriented program, this one to be shown beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern time on weekdays. MSNBC currently has regular news programming at that hour."

So MSNBC cans one moderate Rightward voice and replaces it with two Leftward voices, and in the process, deletes an hour of what might have been general news for a biased opinion driven show with Andrea Mitchell.

Take a long look at the Fairness Doctrine in action, fellow NB's.

And who said the revolution will not be televised?  Sorry, Gil Scott Heron and Hugo Chavez, the MSM is doing all it can to broadcast and advance it in "living 'peacock' color".

RRAM Tough!

Is the Washington Examiner

Is the Washington Examiner another Star Magazine, Mad Magazine or Cosmopolitan Magazine?  (Trash/Bash/Flash)  It sure doesn't sound like a serious newspaper.

In the spirit of the Washington Examiner, David Gregory is a tool.  What is he supposed to represent, Olbermann Lite?

The cornucopia of varied opinions expressed on MSNBC is breathtaking.  [sarc/off]

RRAM Tough!

Tucker, I hate to tell you

Tucker, I hate to tell you this, but I think it's time you left MSNBC and checked into rehab. They have dissed you so much that you humiliate yourself by staying there. There's no future for you there, man. Come out of rehab as a full conservative again and there may be room on Fox to guest host something.

Welll.....

Maybe if he puts on his "man clothes", and puts the Pee-Wee Farrakhan bowtie in the toilet.

I mean, who's going to hire someone you snigger at because of his neckwear?

THIS JUST IN:
The Department of Politcal Correctness has BANNED the word "snigger" from all print, and parlance in all medias and in any form on pain of taunting, persecution and loss of livelihood...

The acceptable replacement is "snegro".  more...

that caption would make more sense

..if the picture was of Jon Stewart, Colbert, Olberdouche, or Louis Black. The last person I had to include because, despite that I like some of his material, is another comedian who has no clue about the issues and reality, he just likes to yell and pretend to be angry.

Gregory's Numbers

I will not be watching the arrogant David Gregory.

But I will be watching the numbers of viewers his show gets.

Arrogant?

I never thought of him as arrogant, more like annoyingly gay.

Perfect

Perfect, Cooper.

I like your observation better than mine.

Why didn't I think of that?

Is that "gay" as in

Is that "gay" as in homosexual, or "gay" as in "weird, geeky, dumb"?
