I find it interesting that since global temperatures have leveled off during the past ten years, they are now calling it "climate change", instead of global warming. That way they can blame every weather anomaly on climate change(which actually stopped changing). They now say that this period of temperature stability will last ten more years and is due to ocean currents. I guess that will buy them ten more years of propaganda time.

I remember that they predicted that the year following hurricane Katrina would be the worst year for hurricanes we have seen in a hundred years. It turned out to be the calmest that we have seen in a hundred years. They also blamed that on ocean currents.

I would like to know: if they can not predict a local hurricane season 8 months in advance, how can they be so sure that the currently thriving polar bear species will be threatened in 40 years due to climate change? The congress voted to put the polar bears on a threatened species list(a new category) because they expect melting arctic ice to destroy their habitat in 40 years.

I am amazed that they can come up with such convoluted scenarios based on little more than opinion and pass laws based on them. What's worse is that they are feeding this propaganda to school kids and university students as proven facts, and they are gullible enough to buy into it, hook line and sinker.

Last night, I saw an ad on TV from some sort of a wildlife foundation asking for donations to save the polar bears. It showed heart-wrenching images of a baby cub, diving off a morsel of floating ice into the huge ocean where it would surely drown.

In my motel room, there is a placard that says: "save the planet" , then it explains how you can use less hot water and electricity to help save the planet.

The government, universities, foundations and corporations are all using this global warming hoax to their advantage. I am dumbfounded that so many people are falling for this obvious deception and manipulation. What is most disturbing is that both of the presidential candidates are playing along, because a majority of the public are true believers.

Fortunately, global warming will be melting the polar ice caps, making available more water to keep us hydrated, thus preventing more kidney stones from forming.  </sarcasm off>

Don't they know the new words are "global climate change".  One has to be up on the latest.  Greenland ice is expanding as are glaciers in the us and in the Southern hemisphere.  That last 2 years have seen cooler worldwide temperatures.  So what do they do if things cool?  That is why the nut balls changed it from "global warming".  HC has to get with it.
