I will have to look back here to see if the NYT will now completely skip this now that "Ho, ho, ho...Green Job Czar" (credit Beck for that line) is gone.

Also, wonder how the morning shows will gloss it over...I will not watch them, thanks NB for doing the "dirty work" of having to watch these shows most of us have long since given up on!

I wonder if it is getting to be ever more challenging for "journalists" to report on the Obama administration/abortion--not the use of facts (such as Jones is a communist racist) but the slant they must develop to protect it.

Many like Obama himself lie with ease.  I wonder how it feels to be a tool.

One thing I noticed when obama first became pres. I always believed the Whitehouse was the House of the People. Well, Barack believes it is HIS house as he has stated several times. "My house has this...that etc." It is time to take the White House back FOR the people. It is YOUR house and there are enough people outraged by what this pres. is doing with these czars, how he takes NO responsibility for anything etc. that we can make changes.

Getting rid of jones is just the beginning. There are how many other "czars" left??

I am surprised he resigned because I don't believe Obami would have thrown him under the bus. Jones is Obami and Obami is Jones.  Not hard to figure these Marxist out.  They are all into and over this administration. 

In just a little while even the knuckleheads that voted this joker in will see what they have wrought on the United States.  Our best revenge will have to come in November 2010.  We have to hold out that long.

Well one czar gone but he will be replaced, and I am sure its not the end to the czar appointments. How many are we gong to have before someone says no more. With all these czars I am wondering what platform pollies could run on, Whats the point of saying I am going to make sure banks don't rip you off, or we will drill for more oil, better education, when we have czars for all that stuff now.  They work for the pres not you or me. They can do what ever they please without congress approval. So the question is even if the repubs win in a landslide in 2010 what are they going to be able to do really,  just asking  Will congress become obsolete?  Is this something worth thinking about or am I just nuts for thinking this way?

Having totally ignored the original story about Van Jones, the MSM will now frame this resignation in the context that he was driven out of office by a groups of right wing zelots who are against "health insurance reform".  This will fit neatly into the template of people who only get their news from the networks.  The Obama administration may now think they are in the clear after this resignation and use it to pre emptively discredit any critic of their polices.  Swiftboating is now out and anyone who uses a liberal's own words and actions against them will be said to be "Van Jonesing" their opponent.

In honor of the coming NFL season opener, the always gracious Anthony "Van" Jones, and New York Football Giants fans- I offer this. I hope you appreciate the irony    ;-b

So.... I was talking to one of my little left leaning friends last night and I said " aren’t you fed up with Obamas lies? He said he would have no lobbyists but he does. He said he would end the war then adopted Bushs' war plan. He said he would allow more transparently in government then refused to allow time to read bills before critical votes or even let people see the White House guest book. He said he would seek bipartisan leadership yet let's everyone know he's prepared to push his bills with only support from the Dems. He has expanded our government both in size and expense in massive ways in only a few months... Doesn’t that make you feel let down? "My lefty friend came back with "Well.... Bush lied and had secrets and  expanded the government and all that stuff too!" I thought about this for a second and said "...Hmmm so voting for Obama got us 4 more years of Bush? You told me that would only happen if I voted for McCain."

Assuming that some of Obamas supporters actually believed they would get a country that the world loved with a balanced budget that was at peace with everyone because of the magical diplomatic skills of the Dalai-Bama and there would be free cake, flying cars and Unicorn rides for all. Some of those people have to be getting wise to the fact that all that big talks worth doodly squat and what we have is a radical activists commi-unity orgaizer with no clue about what is in the hearts and minds of the American public.

They have to wake up sometime...don't they? 

Funny, in a post O/T a couple of days ago, I said off-the-cuff that the nutball Jones was probably also a Free-Mumia nut among other things, and they a day or two later someone uncovered evidence of links to evidence that he in fact was a part of the crazy Free-Mumia legion. It's probably safe to say that there is more out there on Jones waiting to be uncovered. Nothing is too far out-there for Jones.

The problem with him obviously is that he is a very stupid man. How can one person believe that 9/11 was a President George W. Bush scheme but at the same time our just desserts for fifty years of foreign policy in the Middle East?

This is further illustration of how meaningless an Ivy League degree is in the age of Affirmative Action. I have little respect left for Yale University after this episode.
