Will Media Ignore Obama-Khalidi Connection?

Add another one to the ever-growing list of radical connections and friendships of Obama.

Ed Morrisey:

Khalidi, a Yasser Arafat toady, got $75,000 through Obama and Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers from the Woods Foundation, and later Khalidi returned the favor by hosting a fundraiser for Obama. Obama “lavished praise” on Khalidi in 2003 when the former PLO functionary took a job at Columbia University, according to an LA Times article last year. It’s hardly ancient history, and Khalidi is hardly an acquaintance.

Instead of reporting on dangerous and questionable connections like this, the media would rather print cotton candy pieces describing Obama as a "lightworker" and enlightened being.  Why is Hannity the only media I’ve heard report on this?  See Sean Hannity's video report of the connections that the rest of the media is ingoring.

Another scary vision of

Another scary vision of whats to come if Obama is elected president. I refuse to ware a burka. wow

We are in trouble if this guy gets in office.

Obama is made of teflon...it

Obama is made of teflon...it won't matter to his faithful followers or the msm. The Rev. Wright connection didn't do one thing to hurt him. Folks are blindly following him due to his charm and his slogan of "change". I worry.

Get your blinders off.

Get your blinders off.  Obama was not standing before the entire electorate, just the registered Dems. Democrats make up about 42.5% of Registered voters. Obama won a narrow majority of this vote.

He actually got about 20 million [Hillary polled 18+ million] real votes in primaries where turnmouts didn't exceed about 56%.  Let us accept an estimate that Obama captured votes representing about 44 million of these 72 million Dems. There are about 36 million blacks in America. He got 95% of their vote and they turned out in disproportionately larger numbers than other groups in the primaries. How many people voted for this guy who aren't black?

Just wait until November.  Obama may be made of teflon but his feet are made of clay.  Obama will take a shellacing the like of which we haven't seen since 1980.

"How many people voted for

"How many people voted for this guy who aren't black?"

You've obviously never heard of my home state of Nebraska. We are as Red as it gets. A state that has only gone Democratic once in the past 72 years (LBJ in 1964). 5% of our population is black.

Obama beat Clinton in the Caucus 68% to 32%. And he beat her in the Primary 49% to 47%.

Also, we can split our electoral votes now. Each congressional district picks their electoral vote...No winner take all. And the 2nd Congressional District (here in Omaha, which is only 13% black) currently has Obama and McCain running neck and neck.

Either all us white folks are staying home...Or a good number of us are voting for Obama.

That's a rhetorical

That's a rhetorical question, right?

Sign of desperation?

I've associated with all kinds of people in my life---left and right, foreign and domestic. I've benefited from knowing many of those people and hearing their ideas, even when those ideas are far out of synch with mine. I'm sure many people here could say the same.

In short, a mature person is not defined by his assocations. The fact that conservatives spend so much time trying to define Senator Obama in that way suggests how desperate they are in an election season where the signs and portents aren't exactly moving in their direction.

"In short, a mature person

"In short, a mature person is not defined by his assocations."

Moose feces.

Birds of the same feather

Birds of the same feather flock together.

Immature Obama

In short, a mature person is not defined by his assocations.

If true, then why does Obama, when questioned about these associations, deny them? Isn't that rather telling? Or is he correct in distancing himself from criminals, terrorists, racists, et al or should he embrace his friends?

The fact that you believe

The fact that you believe associations don't matter proves that liberals will pretty much lie to themselves about pretty much anything if it helps to confirm their warped world view.

I had a nun in grade school

I had a nun in grade school who always said "Show me your friends, and I'll tell you what you are."

It depends on what is meant

It depends on what is meant by "association", I suppose.

I've "associated" with many people. I've had co-workers whose deaths I would have viewed as a benefit to the world, but I was able to work with them.

However, I would not invite them into my home or ask their help for anything.

While they were "associates", they were NOT friends, and we're talking about the SockPuppet's friends here.

A-D: You make the mistake

A-D: You make the mistake of comparing casual friendships and miscellaneous discussions with the sort of political alliances that Obama has sought, particularly in the city of Chicago and the state of Illinois. Ref: The Chicago Way None of Obama's "associations" that are now being scrutinized by the alternative media can be described as mere exercises in learning how others think. If that were the case, when will we hear about his "associations" with conservative or moderate thinkers and leaders?

Obama is a political animal, plain and simple. He is a radical leftist who has spent a good deal of his time and energy seeking alliances with those who share and espouse his Marxist philosophy. He's beginning to stumble in his rhetoric because he's having difficulty "thinking" like a moderate. Those of us who see him for what he is aren't fooled by his attempts to "reach across the aisle". He has no record of doing so and seems incapable of "faking" it effectively.

Nothing to see here. The

Nothing to see here. The messiah is clean. Bruzilla said so. Meanwhile, how the heck do people like Ayers and this Khalidi guy get jobs at our colleges and universities?

They get them because most

They get them because most of the universities are run by 60's liberals who are borderline radicals themselves.

Where can I find reference

Where can I find reference to him being an Arafat toady? I haven't found anything that says that yet. And it was Khalidi lavishing praise on Obama, not the reverse, at the 2003 function.

So far, this does not seem nearly as "radical" as it's purported to be. But I'll keep digging.

Will the MSM ignore

the Obama/Who? connection?  What?  Where?  We don't see anything.

Meanwhile, breaking story, a Republican congressman has a overdue library book.

JEFF...

The MSM will ignore anything & everything until they are FORCED to. They were almost a full year behind Hannity on the Rev.J.Wright story, & will be way behind on everything else tha they should cover involving Obama.

Also, I'm sure EVERYONE here at NB has noticed that the more we learned about Obama, the more HE LOST in the primaries, & the LOUDER the calls came from the MSM for Hillary to drop out. It makes me sick, even though I expect very little from the MSM

"...it's still We The People, Right?"  Megadeth

Hannity seems to explain

Hannity seems to explain the connection pretty well in that video, it even has the quotes from Obama giving praise to this guy and showing the connections involved. It's pretty straightforward and is causing Obama supporters to once again to take the role of an apologist. I just wonder how many more radical connections Obama needs before his blindly loyal supporters switch their brains on and begin to ask the questions that conservatives have been asking for months now.

Let's See....

YES.

"You're either part of the solution or part of the problem"

For Lack Of

For lack of a more pertinent thread, i may be a little off topic here,(oh well i've been "off" for a long time), but i am of the "opinion" that, in the end, the fight for control of this country will be settled with blood in the streets in a "cival war" fashion not to be confused with the "war between the states" of the 1860s. I think it is a reasonable assumption, that, had ole hil been able to cop the nomination there at the end, the obama people would have taken it to the streets and their would've been blood in the streets. I find it reasonable to assume, that, if  obama some how loses the nomination between now and the convention, by scandle are unusual health disqualification, the obama people will take it to the streets. I find it reasonable to assume, that, if McCain wins the general election in a close vote that could be questioned, as in the gore recount, the obama people will take it to the streets and there will be blood in the streets which could spiral out of control. There are a lot of "what ifs" but what if it happens, whos side will the all volunteer military be on, the conservatives who support them, are the liberals who bash them??
