One would think that a Democratic fundraiser fugitive that was involved with one of the prominate Democrats running for President was sentenced to three years for Fraud it would be newsworthy. However, CNN not only buried it behind all the post-Iowa ruckus, but also neglected to mention which candidate(s) the disgraced Hsu donated and fundraised. That would be Hillary Clinton.
A former fugitive captured in Colorado has been sentenced to three years in prison — after a judge rejected his bid to throw out a 16-year-old fraud conviction.
Attorneys for disgraced political donor Norman Hsu had asked Judge Stephen Hall to dismiss his 1992 no-contest plea, saying Hsu’s right to a speedy trial was violated because authorities were not actively pursuing him during his years as a fugitive.
Hsu’s lawyers said authorities could easily have arrested Hsu at one of the political fundraisers he hosted.
Hsu fled California before being sentenced in the 1992 case. He turned himself in August 31, then fled again.
He was recaptured in Grand Junction, Colorado, in September after trying to kill himself by overdosing on drugs aboard an Amtrak train.
I guess we should feel lucky the mentioned the party affiliation in the title.

In a vacuum...
January 4, 2008 - 22:09 ET by JPR1or with a vacuum?
The MSM has this one pretty well swept-up; Hillary's association with the nebulus Mr Hsu will just fade away. Unless, just maybe, the Justice Dept decides to drop the hammer. Oh please, please, please do it quickly.
Hit Cold Cash Jefferson at the same time.

Well this one looks like it
January 4, 2008 - 21:46 ET by Right2thePointWell this one looks like it will be starved of air, but depending on federal prosecutors, it could surface in a big way prior to the election.
Of course if Hillary is in the general then we will hear dirty trick, the timing etc.
If they intentionally hold it off till after the elections and Hill wins and the trial goes poof she will have a major damage control issue on her hands.
Before the Clintons began
January 5, 2008 - 00:13 ET by JerryBefore the Clintons began breaking every campaign finance law on the books, the MSM and democrats used to consider campaign finance to be the most important issue in American politics. It was imperative to get dirty money and big business influence out of politics. Now all of a sudden, it is a totally insignificant issue.
Before the Clintons (Berger) began stealing documents to prevent the 9/11 Commission from seeing them, the MSM and democrats considered the 9/11 Commision to be the most important investigation in the history of the world. Suddenly it became a non-issue.
While Clinton was banging interns and sexually harrassing women, it was considered to be his "personal sex life", and had no bearing on his job performance. Now, just the sending of "inappropriate" messages constitutes a "culture of corruption".
When Clinton was prosecuting a non-UN sanctioned war with Iraq to stall an impeachment vote, the MSM and democrats considered it to be a bold move in the best interest of the United States and the world. Now, when Bush is prosecuting a war against terror, it has become a Hitler-esque war for oil.
Simply amazing!!
When asked if he went to war with Iraq to derail the impeachment vote: “I don’t think any serious person would believe that any President would do such a thing." - President Clinton (Dec 1998).
this quote will be spit
