Imus Rants About His Fox Critics; Calls Obama 'A Whiny Little Titty Baby and a Girly Man'

Ever since long-time radio talker Don Imus inked a deal with the Fox Business Network to simulcast his morning radio program, he said he has been getting pushback from several acquaintances.

And as he explained and showed on his Oct. 28 program, he's not particularly pleased with the reaction about his deal with Fox News.

"I get this email and the e-mail says, ‘Sorry to see you've sold out to Fox Business, or whatever. But I am not surprised you sold out to Fox Business, disappointed.' Could you explain to me exactly what does that mean? When you walk in the door here, Roger Ailes or Neil Cavuto or what's the other fat guy's name? Kevin McGee? Not the other fat guy, that was unfortunate."

He explained that the conjecture from some in the mainstream that Fox News is somehow an arm of a political movement with contrived guests is incorrect.

"You think they say to you, ‘OK, you can have these guests on, you can't have these guests on? You have to think this?'" Imus said. "What are you nuts? I mean, who thinks that?"

However, he ramped up his attack on one Fox News critic, New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd. In a few of her previous columns, Dowd has attacked Fox News for things said on two of Fox's highly rated opinion programs - Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck, failing to differentiate them between the actual news on Fox.

"Then I have to read this idiot, and she's is a friend of mine, too, Maureen Dowd," Imus said. "She takes an idiotic shot at Fox News, talking about things that Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck may say about the President. Well, those are opinion programs. That is not Fox News. Just a gratuitous, stupid shot. ... And by the [way], Maureen is getting long in the tooth to be referring to girlfriends, OK sweetheart?" Imus continued. "Coming up on 60 years old, they are not going to the mall."

He also pointed out the double standard when it comes to criticizing Fox News versus their competitors, CNN and MSNBC.

"I don't want to hear about Fox News," Imus said. "Nobody says anything about CNN or MSNBC. They have opinion programs and they have news. The news is pretty good on both of them, and it's pretty good on Fox."

But one comment Imus made, and has been said by other Fox commentators, is that the President has managed to dedicate resources to taking on Fox News, but has been vague on how he plans to handle the war in Afghanistan.

"Because the President is a whiny little titty baby and a girly man and doesn't have enough guts to figure out what to do in Afghanistan, he's going to take on, what - Fox News and get his ass kicked there?" Imus said. "There has got to be some reason that Fox has 10 times as many listeners that all of them. Somebody must think it is news."

Imus continues to use his ability to tell it like it is.

The I-Man is Back!!!

I heard this rant from beginning to end this morning.

I don't know who the female columnist was (not Maureen Dowd) but he absolutely leveled all critics of FoxNews.

With his commentary on Obama I am waiting for Al Shady Sharpton to come out of the woodwork and make another racist charge against Imus.

Wow!

I've never cared for Imus but I may have to reconsider after hearing that!

Yay, Dingbat

I am not an Imus fan--but that was funny!

Stumble upon the truth

Amazing, even a crude conversionalist like Imus can stuble upon the truthfrom time to time.

If he consistently made

If he consistently made sense I think I'd watch him.

Note to self

Telling people what they want to hear will make you popular with them. Makes sense.

And the whiney little titty

And the whiney little titty baby still has power over his followers, right nwahs?

Mmm, Mmmm, Mmmm

'whiny little titty baby" Mmm. Mmmm, Mmmm!

"What a revoltin' development this is!"

Well, sometimes it seems a little difficult for me to differentiate them too though likely not the same reason as Dowd.

I need to remember to watch

I need to remember to watch him in the morning getting ready for work, cuz, Morning Joe just sucks!!

Here's something for you

"Journalists" to try and understand - THAT was an opinion, not news, and Imus didn't hide nor mince the words -   for the cowardly who tend to read but not post, you might want to remember that there are two sides to a story, and if you REPORT, the it's just the facts - and you don't have to like them, especially if the facts point out that the O-man can't walk on water, nor give healthcare to everyone who can't afford it.

This is Wilford Brimley---

Absolutely Imus is great, you just need to be able to listen to his show. This type of rant is common and is bi-partisan, although I think he will be ranting on the proper side of things now that he's affiliated with FOX...

Imus and his crew used to do a Wilford Brimley, Thanksgiving turkey basting parody and it was entertaining along with various other routines that were on the edge, very funny...

Proper side of things? ....

...You think Imus will alter his opinions now that he is "affilliated with Fox News" ? Gawd, I hope not. Lets hope that he will continue to offend ideologues in both camps!

Proper side---

Nice shot, TT.

You DO practice what your profile says.

Not that I felt your profile needed justification in any way, shape, or form;  it is just that nowadays honesty is so nice to encounter.

Good on Ya, mate.

Good on Imus

Good for Imus, but he didn't really say much new. Many have pointed out that the Bamster is a whiner, childish, and somewhat effeminate. Imus just expressed those same opinions in his own way.

I hope more people realize

I hope more people realize that Imus attacks everybody: republicans, democrats, independents, conservatives and liberals.  Only reason he doesn't rip into Obama more is because Obama is shielded by the race card.  Sure, that sounds stupid but it isn't like you are afforded a trial of your peers when you are called a racist.  You are deemed a racist de jure and you are kicked off the air.  Pure and simple.  Sharpton or Jackson simply need to snap their fingers and it isn't worth it.

Imus is a repeat apologist...

Imus is a repeat apologist and I can't stand it when cowards apologize for things that they meant to say. I refuse to watch or listen to anything out of this apologists mouth because he will apologize again at some point down the road, which, again, makes him a lying coward.

Kathleen Sebelius

Imus took a shot at Ms. Sebelius the other day.  Something to the effect that she taught us how to put snot on our sleve instead of in a kleenex.  Love it.

Sir. nitpick time.

An apologist is someone that defends something.

An apologizer is someone that makes apologies.

  My apologies for nitpicking.

Sincerely,

JWF:

Scanned your post.

Re-scanned it.

Read it AGAIN, slowly; thinking, "What the hell am I missing?"

Then I got it.

Too funny!

"I may not agree with what your bumper sticker says, but I will defend to the death your right to stick it." (Unknown, but derived from Voltaire)

True, I stand corrected...JWF

...but it doesn't change the fact that Imus apologizes too often, which means he sways with public opinion. He is out to make money (nothing wrong with that), but I won't help him since he's a coward.

And thanks for the backup, MD!

Backup---

You are welcome.

Repetitive apologist---

Reb:

I've never listened to Imus, so I have no "dog in the fight"; but it seems if a person continually apologizes for statements made, they should:

1.   Re-think what they are gonna say before they say it, and

2.   If satisfied with the statement, have the courage of their convictions and not apologize after the fact unless further information comes along making it obvious an apology or retraction is warranted.

If Imus is a repeat apologist/apologizer, this round would go, IMO, to you.

IMUS

I wish he would say:  "Oh by the way SHARPTON, I'm not sorry and I, unlike you, have an actual job."

Ok, I'm not sure what a

Ok, I'm not sure what a titty baby is, but I'm pretty sure it has to be racist. If not, give the justice brothers a day or two and it will be.

I know what one is...

And I disagree with Imus. Obama was bottle feed from birth. If he was suckled from his mama's breast he wouldn't want to take over the world!

"The bureaucracy is growing to meet the needs of the growing bureaucracy"

So, is it safe to say that

So, is it safe to say that Imus won't be invited to stay in the Lincoln Bedroom anytime soon?  lol

Kick a** Imus!

If Imus was a democratic senator or congressman, he could call women whores and get away with it.

Imus and guts

I also find it absolutely comical that Imus calls Obama out for not having the GUTS to make decisions. It is true, and while I may disagree with Obama on...well, everything...at least I know what to expect!

Imus, here's a guy truly lacking GUTS. I don't care if he spouts opinion that I may agree with sometimes. So does Bill O'Relly, I can't take him either. These guys can be compared to the RINOs...flip flopping with public opinion to satisfy the masses.

Ultimately, I guess the question could be, would I do the same if it meant millions of dollars in radio and TV contracts? I'm pretty sure I'll never know! And not because of my principals, but because I doubt that contract will come my way. Plus, I'm sure it's a lot easier to answer in my current position...fewer ramifications!

He got this one right!

Imus has the oblahma cockroach figured!  This arrogant maggot(oblahma) thinks because some people believes his lies, that he is somehow superior !  talk about pondscum!   This clown could very well be the anti-christ....he sure has the lying spirit of one!! imo
