Children's Book Depicts Santa Fighting Global Warming

'Tis the season ... to be green. No, not even the traditions of Christmas are immune to the efforts of global warming activism.

No, it's not Al Gore's, "How Greenhouse Gases Stole Christmas," but a children's story is pushing a similar green agenda. The recently published book by Anne Margaret Lewis called "Santa Goes Green" is about a boy who writes Santa and asks him to help raise awareness about global warming so that his adopted polar bear won't lose its home.

"You see, it's like this Santa," the book reads. "I've adopted a polar bear named Leopold. He is in danger of losing his home. I'm sure you being in the North Pole you know about the melting glaciers. All I want this year Santa, is to save Leopold and his home."

Santa Claus visits the boy, takes him to see the polar bear and then in a moment of eco-awakening, he makes his operations at the North Pole green.

"They arrived back at the North Pole and Santa had a grand idea," the book reads. "He leaned in toward Swift [the head elf] and told him his new plan. ‘We will collect all of the old toys, Swift, and make them new again. We will reuse last year's wrapping paper. And we will harness the great North Pole wind to help power up the toy shop.'"

For those tempted to purchase the book, a preview is available on the publisher's Web site.

Global warming hysteria has shown up in several places this holiday season. An elementary school play showed Santa going green - making several considerable adjustments to holiday traditions.

"The show went downhill from there. Mrs. Claus informed Santa how terribly wasteful many traditions are, including how even Rudolf changed his nose to an LED light, all the while forgetting that the original was lit by an inner light of love that did not use power at all," a reviewer wrote about the play.

Bizarro World

Only in the Bizarro World do you have people like this preaching Global Warming when it snowed in Malibu, there were 6" of snow in Las Vegas, ice storms across the country, 20" - 30" of snow already in the northern sections of the country, and frigid cold weather in the northerm tier and east coast.

How do people possibly explain the weather we are having and then say we are in a global warming emergency. Are there that many ignorant people in this world?

Yes....

"Are there that many ignorant
people in this world?"

 Apparently enough to elect obama...

What's next???

Santa fires his gaseous reindeer for harming our upper atmosphere during their worldwind flight on Christmas Eve???

This just proves that nothing (that we believe) is sacred to liberals yet everything they believe should be sacred to us.

S-A-N-T-A ~ S-A-T-A-N

Take the "N" and move it to the end of the word, and....

strange how that works........

God told our beloved brother St. Noah:

"While the Earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."

One cannot be a Christian and a "global warming" believer at the same time. As in all things God has set before us one must choose one or the other.

Wouldn't it be ironic that all this "green" stuff we were doing was harming the planet in all? That would be funny. Maybe we can burn these so-called false prophets at the stake then.

Whaddyamean "if"?  Ask one

Whaddyamean "if"?  Ask one of those eco-weenies how he thinks they're going to dispose of thousands of Prius batteries when they degrade below their service specs in 5-8 years.

While you're asking, ask him if he realizes his "fuel efficient" hybrid is going to cost him a few extra thousand bucks to replace those batteries.

I am tempted to ask Hannity what he is going to do as he has a hybrid truck.  Actually teh price of batteries will most likely go down and their efficiency improve as time goes on.  I used to be into radio control and the batteries went from nicads to nicads to li-ion and now they are looking at fuel cells.  So hopefully th tech will only get better.

The biggest proble m will be disposal and my theory is teh disposal will be similar to normal car batteries today.  Where you pay a premium to get rid of the batteries when you buy a new one.

It gets old that people

It gets old that people create lies and propaganda just to advance an agenda. An agenda they fell for hook, line and sinker. And if that isn't enough, they want to indoctrinate OUR children into their mentality.

Rudolph, the methane Reindeer.

Santa's going green alright, NOT!  He's burning thousands of barrels of fuel oil in order to heat the greenhouse that is growing the hundreds of bushels of corn and grain that is required to feed his reindeer stock, grain that would otherwise be used to produce ethanol.

Obama: My job is above my pay grade

First...

I like to know why these idiot authors don't read current news. It's been proven that GW has not occured for 10 years and the earth has cooled.

It seems as though they have GW horse blinders on.

Second, some quotes by Vladimir Lenin that may prove we are on a possibly irreversible journey to socialism:

"Give me four years to teach the children and
the seed I have sown will never be uprooted."

"The art of any propagandist and agitator consists in his ability to find the best means of influencing any given audience, by presenting a definite truth, in such a way as to make it most convincing, most easy to digest, most graphic, and most strongly impressive." 1919

You can bring an mule to water

"I like to know why these idiot authors don't read current news. It's been proven that GW has not occured for 10 years and the earth has cooled."

As anyone who has debated one of these people knows, they don't care about what is true or not. They don't care about real science. They only care that they are demonizing those they believe should be demonized. When they say 'global cooling is caused by global warming' then you know they just don't care about reality. And they have the nerve to call skeptics the "deniers" while the they (the alarmists) protest in snow storms.

How right you are Apache!

The sad part is that these very same people who claim to profess diversity and freedom of thought will, on Jan 20th be running the country, thus being able to force feed us with their illogical policies based on ridiculous, ideological and unsubstantiated theories.

Wilbur,

"Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted."

By my loose calculation, the left has now had over four decades of unfettered access to the children of this nation.

I guess that means were are screwed 10 times over and above even what those poor slobs in the former USSR were in for.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Retaliation

Remember how one or two irate parents could change a whole school system and the way they had done things for generations?  Some were right but most complaints were from a minority of people who just haven't been able to fit into society.  Many were from people who hated Christianity and Christians.

OK, here's my point.  When this crap hits your school system(s) (whether you have children attending school or not) complain like hell and ask for the proof that this scientific religion is true and correct or any better than teaching various religions in a public school.   Make this a issue of Truth.  If the schools are teaching our children the stuff of dreams & nightmares (ask a young child if they are afraid of Global Warming and you'll see how their fears have been used by these evil GW fanatics) then make darn sure that they will hear from you until this stops.

Just a thought.

"I'm shocked that Lewis didn't make Santa out to be a vegan Marxist activist fighting for gay rights and flag-burning."

Are you kidding? That would expose Santa's exploitation of the Elves who are held prisoner by Santa in a remote, hostile environment and forced to work in Santa's sweatshop producing toys for all those good (read capitalist) little boys and girls.

Obama: My job is above my pay grade

Its time!

It's time for the workering class to unite in revolution against thebourgeois!

What about the exploitation of the reindeer class?

It's time to show Santa who's really important! :)

I wonder?

I wonder, once The Little People's Northern Army has succeeded and disposed the Evil Capitalist Santa, where the Polar Politburo will send their political prisoners?  I mean, really, what type of gulag would be worse than the North Pole? Siberia?  That would be an improvement!

Obama: My job is above my pay grade

Ah! The dilemma of what to do..

I say we condemn him to a life of h*ll somewhere in the hot drying sun with mosquitos and a useless, endless ocean so he can never make a break for freedom.

Uhm, you mean California

Uhm, you mean California where much of our tax dollars for the bailouts are being funneled to prop up the failed housing market.

I take exception to the idea that people on Social Security are the villans here, we all put into the fund, we all should get at least our money back with a reasonable amount of interest, far more than the 1% they are getting now.  The villans are the politicians who spent the money and left $3.5 trillion in IOUs for the next generation to pay and they will be left to figure out how to get their money back if at all.

I was making a joke about Fl being having a huge coastline, with the ocean's ability to calm frustrations, sunny beaches and lower tax rates than CA. A great place for Santa to be banished.

Maybe I missed something here.

I'm so happy that we elected

I'm so happy that we elected a president that falsely convinced voters that they were poorer than they were 8 years ago and that has made it a priority to spend vast amounts of money to fix a problem is obviously not an issue.  Americans think that we are not liked in other countries because of "W and his warmonging ways" (or other nonsense).  Anyone with a friend from outside the US that actually asks why other countries don't like us will get the real answer: It's too easy here.  Jobs (of some sort) are available to those who want them and poverty (for the most part) isn't starvation, it's just having less cool stuff than the other guy.  Ironically, the poor who think they have it so bad (and the rest of us) may get the experience to experience real poverty if a real socialist agenda is achieved.

Film:

Lord of the Tree Ring

Reviewed by Richard Kiser

Sundunce film festival - Colorado 2008

It looks as though Al Gore will be headed back to the Red Carpet this year after the screening of his latest movie "Lord of the Tree Ring" in which he stars in the lead role portraying King Carbon Offset friend of the Eco Fairies. Al informed us "This is the role I was born to play". People need to understand the need to stop using electric blankets or they will watch the Tooth Fairy become extinct. He went on to say that Global Warming is going to have a tremendous effect on the production of Easter Eggs. You and I know and all the scientist have agreed that the amount of co2 the Easter Bunny releases creating eggs, especially the hollow chocolate ones by far surpasses the Kyoto Protocol. His solution to this is to create a new tradition called the Easter Worm. His reasoning is straight forward thinking - worms are eco friendly, they have a small carbon footprint and kids will put anything in their mouths and worms sort of look like chocolate.

The movie shows how man is to blame for the future extinction of all our beloved fantasies. Take for instance the scene featuring Cupid, he is so overcome from heat exhaustion caused by AGW that he accidentally sits on his own quiver of arrows and dies furiously loving himself - not a pretty future and disturbing to watch.

The hardest scene to understand and watch takes place at the North Pole. The Ice Cap has melted and Santa's Workshop is almost underwater. All the elves have been consumed by his reindeer, leaving scattered green curly toed booties everywhere on the last icesheet of the planet. The camera pans in just as a great white shark leaps from the water and swallows Santa whole. As the shark swims away all that is left of our memory of Santa is one black boot sticking out the side of the sharks mouth. King Carbon appears and looks straight into the camera and Says "Yes Virginia, there is no Santa Clause due to AGW." Very powerful.

I also had the pleasure of speaking with the producer of this film, Leonardo DiCaprio. Leo told me that they filmed two different endings just in case the scientists made a mistake. He wouldn't tell me the exact ending but left a couple of tidbits to ponder. They were; flash freezing and death by frozen snot bubbles.

Leo continued "We have to get used to the idea that Christmas is over!"  "Right now, Al and I are working to reduce the U.S. carbon output by relocating Willie Wanka's chocolate factory to the Sahara". I said Leo, chocolate melts at 98 degrees, but this man is way smarter than me as he already had the answer - "That's simple, we will buy air-conditioning for the plant with the carbon offset taxes we extract from Americans."  Brilliant! In my opinion they are the true Dynamic Duo!

You really have to hand it to these guys - they have all the bases covered, maybe the Tampa Bay Devil Rays need to watch this and see how it's done.

I would give this film two thumbs up but those very thumbs of man have created Global Warming. Instead I give it a must see before we all either burn up or freeze to death.

I will not be surprised when "green" causes MORE damage

the law of Unintended Consequences-happens at every single bleeding heart social experiment attempted here in CA. Social experiments that have failed for decades, that cause "unintended" problems, many of which were warned against before the "experiment" started. But, they keep on forcing that experiment and magnifying the failures and the damage.

"Green" and Obama's Global Warming energy advisors will cause much more damage...but they won't admit to it and will point to the damage occurring only if it's during a non-Democratic administration, otherwise it will not be reported or acknowledged. Just like the auto industry, the banking situation, infrastructure failure and cultures of corruption.

If Al Gore said it, don't believe it, that settles it

The 'Religion of Global Warming'

Where is the separation of religion and state?

Across the world there are reports of unseasonal snow and plummeting temperatures last month, from the American Great Plains to China, and from the Alps to New Zealand. China’s official news agency reported that Tibet had suffered its “worst snowstorm ever”. In the US, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration registered 63 local snowfall records and 115 lowest-ever temperatures for the month, and ranked it as only the 70th-warmest October in 114 years.

Yet the 'Religion of Global Warming' Nasa’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), which is run by Al Gore’s chief scientific ally, Dr James Hansen, and is one of four bodies responsible for monitoring global temperatures, announced that last month was the hottest October on record.

What!

Huh!

Kids all over America are complaining to there mom's about having to shovel 'Global Warming' off the sidewalks and driveways.

If Al Gore said it, don't believe it, that settles it.

October was hot

Because some lazy fool in Russia copied Septembers temps and called them Octobers. PopTech has the link. Of course.

In order to be pro-choice, one must first be born. Ah, the irony.

I was wondering

If all this cold weather is proof of global warming, then shouldn't the increase in record high temperatures over the last few years be proof of global cooling?

Inquiring minds want to know.

LIBERAL VIRUS ATTACKS "THE EARTH" (STOOD STILL)

LIBERAL VIRUS ATTACKS “THE EARTH” (STOOD STILL)..

Talk about having potential and blowing a whole movie. The
classic sci-fi “The Day The Earth Stood Still” was made during the
early nuclear global fears due to the “cold war”. The alien used that
as his reason to arrive here with an ultimatum. He demonstrated his
power (got the attention of earth) by making everything mechanical “still”.
Well, trash all that….its the 2008 update.

The only thing close to the original was Gort (boy has he grown) and the
meeting with the brilliant prof…only they goofed that too but John Cleese
was excellent in his brief appearance. No American prof has the ole time 1950
chalk board in a world of white felt pen boards and computers. Was so tacky.

They skipped the real use of the cemetery scene (no wars on alien planet due
to robot cops against violence) and lost that impact. Klaatu (the alien) did not
give any help to earth and left with not so much as a wave as in the original.

Of course, being modern Hollyweird (where lefty political is 24-7) we had a
dysfunctional family, a mixed marriage, a kid smarter than the adults who
had no respect and a lady Secretary of Defense ruling over the most
trigger-happy military in history. Of course, a lady scientist is the (expected) hero.

Kudos for the special effects but any military guy watching this will throw a shoe at the
screen. Serial stupidity with no apparent common sense to guide absolute mayhem.
Now tell us in the last 10 years the military has decayed into 1950, yeah, right.
A little goes a very long way. Not one human was hurt and the military freaked.
You just get the impression the makers had no clue about making good sci-fi.

Gonna be impossible to beat the PC-ism and Mother Earth-ism anytime soon.

The Chimp finally learns to use a tool other than a twig to collect ants, and he uses it to commit suicide.

How many chimps learned the use of rope only to end their lives with it.

I hope they don't learn to split the atom.
