Look, in the Sky! MSNBC Host Chris Hayes Dazzled by Obama's 'Superpowers'
Forget the birther theory that Obama was born in Kenya. Chris Hayes wants you to believe the president was born on Krypton.
How else to explain his over-the-top gushing for Dear Leader during an appearance on MSNBC colleague Rachel Maddow's show on Thursday (video after page break) --
There's a tendency in commentary in politics to be what we would call in economics pro-cyclical, which is that when the president is doing poorly everyone rushes to talk about how he's terrible and listless and has no leadership qualities and the Ron Suskind book comes out saying the same and everyone piles on and then you forget, you get this weird induced amnesia, this is an extremely able, deft, confident, exceptional politician. (laughs)
And, and what happens is the cycle sort of gets on this internal logic, his approval ratings are down, the economy is bad. And everyone is like, well what happened to? You know, he's right there. I mean, that is a very good, able, amazingly powerful politician and I think in some ways he has been not using his superpowers (laughs) for lot of his time in office. I think as, I don't know why frankly, I'm not inside the president's head.
Ah, that explains it. The greatest challenge confronting Obama is that his opposition is comprised mainly of mere mortals, and everyone knows what fools these mere mortals be.
Hayes' cheerleading came in response to Obama speaking in the shadow of the Brent Spence Bridge linking Ohio and Kentucky, Boehner symbolically on one end and McConnell on the other, calling on Republicans to end their opposition to his so-called jobs bill -- "Mr. Boehner, Mr. McConnell, help us rebuild this bridge!" -- even though his legislation doesn't provide a dime for any work on the overloaded structure.
Hayes is partially right, though not in the way he intended. Obama isn't using his "superpowers" when he makes bogus claims like that.

I can agree that Obama is a wonderful politician. How that relates to his qualifications for president is beyond my comprehension.
A politician knows how to lie straight-faced, smile and wave to the people who support him, while promising whatever it will take to gain their support. The goal of a politician is to be elected, then remain in office - period.
None of those qualities are important in a president, as Obama shown us he can be a great politician and a really, really, bad president.

But that didn't stop him from using the military services in the area, and all of the local golf courses either!! And I was there when the fire departments and ambulances were screaming in to the beach to check out Barry's friends son, who had been minorly hurt on the beach - and you WOULDN'T have wanted to be in the traffic jam that was created when Barry came back from the golf course to check on his friends' son. WOW! I didn't think there was anyone as crazy as the MADCOW on PMSBC, but I think she's found her match in her TWIN! This "guy?" is nothing but a MADCOW wannabe! I'm sure there are some feelings of envy on both of their parts when they look in the mirror. "HE?' because she's more masculin than "him?", and on her part for the same reason! Not only do they envy each others gender, but also their fantacy of how great Obiwan is and how they can outdo each other in their delusional praise of his STUPID ASS!

I watched his first show but found his percentage of misinformation was too high to bother
watching again. I question the leadership who fired Obermann and Uygur and but gave
Sharpton and Hayes shows. Wasn't Msnbc viewership low enough already?

The only "super power" Obama has is the ability to steal FDR's agenda. The way he has tried to govern is FDR II. FDR had a stormy relationship with the court and tried to add justices to the Supreme Court when he didn't get his way. Can we forget Obama attacking the SC during the State of the Union? FDR ruined privately held electric utilities with the TVA. Obama is trying to ruin the oil and coal industies while pushing "green" energy. FDR had millionaires brought to trial for taking legal tax dedutions because it wasn't "fair." Obama wants "rich" people to pay their "fair share." FDR's administration had many with admiration for the Soviet system. Obama, well do I really have to say it? FDR blamed the depression on Hoover even after he had been in office for 8 years. Obama, again, do I really have to say it? FDR thought he could spend his way out of the depression. Obama believes he can spend us out of a depression regardless of how many times it has been proven it doesn't work. I could keep going, but just remember that "investing in infastructure" is only a step away from the WPA and CCC. Can the NRA and price controls be far behind?
