Aghast From Past: Ed Schultz Producer Suggested Obama 'Put a Gun' to Heads of CEOs
Go figure, yet another example of allegedly non-existent rhetoric from a liberal using violent and/or gun-related imagery. Not to worry though, apparently it's only conservatives who set off left wingers when this occurs and and not the other way around.
Back on Dec. 16, I wrote about a conversation between liberal radio host Ed Schultz and his producer James "Holmy" Holm, who also helps Schultz with "The Ed Show" on MSNBC. Schultz's radio listeners have grown quite familiar with Holm, who has come on the air to chat with Schultz several times a week over the last year.
Let's hear what Schultz and Holm said about President Obama planning to meet with 20 of the nation's top CEOs (audio) --
HOLM: The president is going to speak with business leaders that are sitting on $1.9 trillion dollars -- $1.9 trillion dollars. Maybe what we should do is put a gun to their head and just say, give us that $1.9 trillion dollars, you don't need to read anything, just hand it to us!
SCHULTZ: Yeah, they won't ...
HOLM: But, I mean, that's, that's how crazy this thing is!
Heck, worked for the Bolsheviks, right? For a good seventy years anyway.
Suffice it to say, Holm will publicly repent of his hate speech, refuse to allow himself any vitriolic thought in the future, and undergo extensive sensitivity training from numerous MSNBC staffers employed solely for this reason.
And needless to say, Holm permanently forfeits his rights under the Second Amendment.

"Hatespeech" is only dangerous, vitriolic, mean-spirited, ugly and nutjob-encouragement-iducing when it comes from the right, haven't you figured that out yet? The reason is simple: "hatespeech" NEVER comes from the left, as their teachings and enlightenment are merely words and simple hyperbole, and if you haven't realized that yet, well, you are certainly not worthy of their presence and, likely, a racist.

I read down to your comment. Very well stated and absolutely correct. For a paper in Illinois to be throwing stones at any other state about gun violence is absurd.
I'd like to see the same cartoon with Chicago at the top and the three guns labeled; Daley Machine, Community Organizers, Liberal Ideology.

To the left, it's wrong for commentators, or regular folks like Sarah Palin to use metaphors of war or such.
But the left not only excuses it from their politicians, they encourage it. Basically, the left finds it ok for our government to threaten us over our political views, but not ok for us to threaten our government over political views. (metaphorically, of course). Notice, on our side, it's the pundits using metaphors, on their side, it's their political leaders (Obama, Emmanual, others).

I sure hope that many people (who are a lot better with recording equipment and computers than I am) are recording every incident of a liberal using violent language and violent gestures when talking politics or promoting their agenda. All of this stuff needs to be documented and kept as proof that one of the tenets of Liberalism is that it approves of the violent removal of opposition.
Better yet, when all of their violence is recorded, why not put it on DVD and distribute it to as many folks as possible? Then it could get out there to many people, who if they look at the issue objectively, would probably conclude that it is Liberalism that is violent and oppresive. You know the liberal media won't play any of it.
