How about that, alleged comedian Wanda Sykes wasn't entirely off the mark in deriding a person from the media as the proverbial 20th hijacker. She just cited the wrong person.
During one of his daily fulminations about former vice president Dick Cheney this week, radio and MSNBC host Ed Schultz appropriated the language of jihad.
Here's what Schultz said on his radio show Monday, expressing a view apparently shared by his listeners, not a single one of whom has called his show to complain about it (or gotten past the screener if anyone did).
First, Schultz talked about attending last weekend's White House correspondents' dinner and his loathing for Glenn Beck of Fox News (click here for audio) --
Now I'll tell you who really hates President Barack Obama. As I mentioned, over at the Fox table they're all smiling and being pretty normal actually. You know, you're not going to laugh at every joke, but it's all in good fun. But I couldn't help but watching the hate just pour off of Glenn Beck. I mean, if eyes could be piercing, he's got 'em. And then when the president made the comment about everybody in the room voted for him, here's Beck just angrily, like an angry white guy, just furiously pissed off, shaking his fist at the president (laughs) Buddy, you got a great career going, but what you need to do is get a life.
I mean, I didn't, look, I disagreed with Bush but I went to these White House press secretary dinners and I laughed at Bush! He had some good lines in there. But this is a guy that, Beck is over the top. This guy, uh, he's got hate in his heart. And he just doesn't know how to deal with it and he's trying to bottle that up and sell that to his viewers like, he's going to save the country.
Later in the same hour, Schultz said this about Cheney (here for audio) --

We were going to get into a conversation about that dirtbag Dick Cheney. And he's going to do this every month until someone steps forward or until we get hit as a country so he can say I told you so. And that probably, a terrorist attack will probably turn a lot of people on the president.
He is an enemy of the country, in my opinion, Dick Cheney is, he is an enemy of the country. He's making it harder for those who are in power right now to protect the country. He's about the political divide. It just, I just think the guy's such a freakin' loser. You know, Lord, take him to the promised land, will you? See, I don't even wish the guy goes to hell, I just want to get him the hell out of here.

In fact, I would think an enterprising NB'er or staff could put together a collage depicting just that (I don't have the expertise or wherewithal to do it myself.)
So if anyone is up for it- show examples of Beck's hate; O'Reilly's mad right-wing rants; Hannity's utter disrespect for the new President; Ingraham and Levin's calls for upheaval, or whatever the claims of the left are. Couple that with the language used by the MSNBC and CNN folks on a daily basis and let people see for themselves who really creates the great divide.
I just get so tired of "I just said it so it has to be true" from the left. Prove it!

Obama's Hit List

It has also emerged that General Electric stands to make billions from an Obama Heath Care takeover. The government will require a service provider contract for development and delivery of a universal medical records and software and support package. GE apparently has such a package in development. As part of the campaign to win this business, GE has unleashed it's attack squad to assasinate the character of anyone that opposes Obama.
Obama has shown that he is willing to reward his supporters. the UAW was rewarded - at least temporarily - with government take over of their companies. This enabled the Leader to preserve existing UAW contracts at taxpayer expense. General Electric - owners of NBC and MSNBC are campaigning for future favorable treatment and quite possibly, billions in profits.
The real surprise here though is that Cheney is on Obama's hit list to begin with. After all, one shouldn't have to assasinate the character of someone whose character has already been impugned by eight years of leftist hype and lies.
