Muppets Trash Fox News, Host Bolling
Apparently Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog don’t take criticism well. The pair was asked at a press conference for “The Muppets” premiere in London about concerns over the movie’s attack on the oil industry and business.
The Muppets were asked how they felt when Eric Bolling from Fox News discussed their latest movie and said the Muppets were “pushing a dangerous liberal agenda and trying to brainwash children.”
Miss Piggy declared, “It’s almost as laughable as accusing Fox News of being news,” to which the audience, presumably press people since it was a press conference, burst into applause. Kermit replied, “Boy, that’s gonna be all over the internet. You are in such deep water.”
Miss Piggy followed up by saying, “If they take what I say seriously they have a real big problem.” It’s not just what Miss Piggy says, but the fact that millions of children watch the Muppet movies and interviews such as this. Instead of facing the facts, the Muppets themselves are sent out to do the dirty work of the left and attack Fox News.
Hollywood continues to portray corporation and successful businessmen as evil. While it is a light-hearted comedy for kids, liberal Hollywood can’t resist an evil oil company to continue their attacked on business.

...to tell you the truth anymore.
I grew up watching (and loving) the muppets. Now it's become just another item I have to add to my boycott list.
That list is getting pretty big.

I don't think you'll have to worry to much about boycotting this clunker. I'm actually surprised it didn't go straight to video.

I loved the new Muppet movie as well. I didn't see the greedy oilman as offensive at all, and I didn't see any liberal messages at all. I will get it on DVD when it comes out in March, and I am looking forward to it. And also, won't anybody please lighten up about the Fox News slam? They are puppets, after all. Kermit made an interesting point in the clip saying that if the film is anti-oil, why are the Muppets driving cross-country in a gas-guzzling Rolls-Royce? (taken from Kermit's mouth) I might get criticized for this, but I won't let it change my conservative views.

I did notice the slam on oil but my daughter is so smart she said "How are we supposed to get home if we have no gas?" Yes, a ten year old outsmarting the liberals, which isn't much of a surprise. As far as Fox News goes, it always strikes me as how people dismiss the slight when they are by far the most honest news in the business, which isn't saying much.
Oh noes!!

Slammed by Miss Piggy. Give me break. And they wonder why we can't take the left seriously any more. And I agree with Mr Canuck above, the list of what I will watch and listen to any more is starting to shrink to just the voices in my head.

The MSM should use the Muppets to deliver their reporting, the reporters are all liberal puppets anyway; using an ACTUAL puppet would be more honest.

... if one were to try to come up with cartoon character puppets for Moochie and Barack, Miss Piggy and Kermit would be perfect!!
We have a big, fat assed top hog who is queen of the pig pen, and a shrimpy, no-shouldered toad with a big nose, of underdetermined parentage and origin who says "how high" when the pig says "jump."
Perfect! Just f-ing perfect!

Seems that CBS News has gone ahead of FOX news in the coverage of GOP primaries as being the most balanced. Studies are showing that 74% of the coverage of Mitt Romney is negative and the number is about 50% for Gingrich plus Newt is getting more air time then any non FOX employee by a factor of 3.
This is my own personal observation that they need to rename the Hannity Show to the Gingrich and Hannity Hour. He has become a co-host of the Hannity Show.

Why are taxpayers subsidizing PBS? So our children and grandchildren can be brainwashed? I find politicizing on so-called kiddie shows repugnant. It is evil to attempt to brainwash young children while supposedly entertaining them. Disgusting !!!!!!!!!!!!!
