how about the interview o'reilly had of obama. argumentative, putting words in obama's mouth, accusatory, repeatedly interrupting.

watch THAT interview, then tell me palin was treated unfairly. bah.

yeah, some of the questions were simple (you call moronic) and palin flunked out. perhaps you know palin intimately, but others did not. the interview was very informative for not only what palin said, but what she stumbled on and some of the lame answers.

annoying? palin, you wouldn't have lasted 30 seconds in the o'reilly-obama interview. an interview which obama handled very well. to think that palin thought she was in the same league of people to hold the same office, is at best a laugh. 

palin tripped over herself (she needed no help), and was instrumental in the failure of the conservative ticket.  

Ever see Harry Reid react when he is asked an unfavorable question? He blows up. That's a bad move.

Sarah will have to answer a question with a question. Say to Katie very simply,

"Why would you ask such a silly question Katie? I can't see how you are not embarassed"

Say it without anger.

Sarah needs to realize that these people are fighting to get her on their show because they do not want to wait another two or three years to finish her off.  They see her as a viable threat in 2012 and will continue to attack her relentlessly.  It does her absolutely no good to give them opportunities to belittle and disparriage her.  She cannot let down her guard because their war on her isn't over!  They will pursue her destruction until the job is done!  Even if she succeeded at making some good points they will be edited out in exchange for the sound bytes that can be manipulated to make her sound bad.  If she is going to insist on doing this liberal media tour she needs to hire some campaign people to help her navigate these shark infested waters.  I believe her faith in people to be decent and fair will cause her to sustain some very avoidable battle damage.  She needs someone like a Dick Morris or a Karl Rove who know how this dirty game is played to prep her for these appearances.  Can't play in the lions den without expecting to be bit.

I find "alternative" media more liberal than the Mainstream Media.

balboa, I've been following Newsbusters for quite some time and you never respond to anything "quickly and sharply".  You may respond quickly but there is seldom anything "sharp" about it.  This isn't a personal attack; it's just what I've witnessed.  You merely play the devils advocate with everything, standing on the sideline and issuing empty potshots like your "Memorized lines such as Washington outsider, maverick, those kind of lines?"   This is a complete misrepresentation of Palin's point.  I guess you're playing the Alan Colmes part.  When you're losing the war, hone in on one little battle that you think you can win and don't let go of that point. 

Reps need to stop giving cover to these slimers that pretend to be journalists. I agree that they should be harsh and call them to the mat for it.

People could then see the truth of how biased most of them are.

I don't know what it is in the Republican politicians genetic makeup that compels them to tolerate these snide questions and grotesqely unfair bias against them. By appearing for these interviews and being agreeable to much of the unfair and innacurate premises of these questions, they give these liberal hacks, masquerading as "journalists", the cover they need to go on this way. When is it ever going to stop?

• There are his 57 states.  He flunks Geography.
• He has demonstarted zero knowledge of economics.  Prohibiting domestic oil exploration will not reduce either imports of oil  or its price.  Destroyiong capital will not create new jobs.
• He is ignorance of science and engineering is breathtaking.  Cap-and-trade on Carbon will not do a darn thing to control global climate, though it migh have a negative impact on Global Economy.

Hmmm - I never heard Couric (or anyone else) ask other candidates to list what newspapers and magazines they read to establish their world view - in this election or previous elections.
