I must have missed a memo or two this week. How is it that they are superior to America that we should rejoin them? Perhaps their superior hubris in thinking they still rule the world through their empires is what they are thinking. NEW FLASH: you don't have any empires any more butt biscuits. HINT: American English is the most widely spoken business language on the planet.

I actually liked Samuel Jackson until this.  Now I get that same sick feeling in my stomach that I get when I see George Clooney.  No matter how good his movies might be, when I see him I'll think of this ridiculous comment.

That's too bad. Long Kiss Goodnight was one of my favorite movies.

How much diversity of opinion do you suppose there was at a French Film Festival?

Mr. Jackson is a liberal and therefore a Democrat. So it is not surprising that he would want Barry Obama as the next President. Additionally, he probably would like to see Obama elected because he is black. I don’t have a problem with that.

What bothers me is Jackson’s comment about coming into the world community by electing Obama. Rush Limbaugh has noted many times that one of the characteristics of most far-left liberals, especially the Hollywood crowd, is that they don’t see this country, their country, as special. They see this country as evil or bad in many ways. We torture, we invade, we are too religious, we have too many guns, we are too prosperous, we don’t take care of our poor, and we don’t share our wealth. Did I miss anything?

Earlier this year Tom Hanks came out and endorsed Obama also. Mr. Hanks made a video publicising this endorsement. Here is the YouTube link to that video. In the video Mr. Hanks goes back in history to our first president, George Washington, and says that we can make history again by the election of the country's first African American president, a “member of a race once officially considered only three-fifths of a person here.”

But Mr. Hanks is dishonest in his endorsement. What Mr. Hanks doesn’t say in the video is that he wants you to vote for Obama because he is black AND liberal.  Being black is not enough. Would Tom Hanks endorse Clarence Thomas or Condoleezza Rice if they were running on the Republican ticket? Case closed. Another dishonest Hollywood liberal revealed!

That is what I take away from Samuel L Jackson appearance. Why not vote socialist, he has made his  millions off of the captialist system. He doesn't want other Americans to have the same opportunity? What's wrong with Hollywood, there isn't enough hours in the day to cover that topic. When you can create your own alternate reality, the temptation to live in that "other reality" must be too strong to resist.

Anyone who votes based on "Identity" isn't voting because they care about their Country. They really think quota over merit is leveling the playing field. Barack Obama really is the "American Idol" candidate.

I'm so sick of these idiot celebrities who always have to put down America. If not for America Sam Jackson would be wearing a fig leaf and chasing a rabbit for food instead of being a multi-millionaire for playing make believe. America doesn't need to get with the World, the World needs to get with America. Through charities and government aid the United States feeds and helps 3/4 of the Worlds people, except where it gets stolen by their dictators. Whenever a nation is in trouble for any reason, America is on the spot to help but when America is in trouble you can count on one hand the countries who help us.  To hell with these foreign parasites. It's time our government reduced foreign aid to a minimum all based on previous support and started spending the money at home and giving it back to taxpayers who paid it to begin with. At least even if the wealthy got more money back they would create jobs and stimulate the ecnonomy. It doesn't do us any good to give ten billion dollars to Africa. If Samuel Jackson wants to be so worldly he's welcome to move to Zimbabwe any time.
