While ABC is busy not reporting on anything significant, apparently they've learned the fine art of killing time with crime. The job of journalists is to report on news, not steal things. How this idea even got into the newsroom is way beyond me.

These media members should be hung up and shot...oh, ummm...I guess that's what the Muslim terrorists would do if they had mocked their religion.  Good thing they can make fun of Christians.  If they'd do something like that against Allah, Mohammed, or the Koran they'd surely be on the run for their lives!  Maybe Christians need to start working on wielding some power instead of just prayer...or should there be power in their prayers?

Hey, let's just make up a Good Morning America segment ourselves about the hosts drawing pictures of what they think Muhammed looks like, have them compare and laugh at their results, put it on YouTube and notify the Muslim world about it.

Then watch as these same Good Morning America hosts that delighted themselves at the stolen baby Jesus, sweat it out on live t.v. frantically disavowing anything to do with this blasphemy.

Definitely time for some emails to ABC uppers.  Here's how the GMA website spins the story, making it sound like GMA reported it straight, with outrage directed at the miscreants:

In a way, ABC is worse than the Christ theives. These are well educated, "cultureally unbiased", members of the "free" press. The thieves are ignorant of what they do (if they knew, expierienced the consequenses of their action, they might have thought twice).

When the Christ figure was stolen from my creche display in 2006, I found it very difficult to say the "Our Father" - I did not want to condem myself to the same unforgiveness. Ignorance, in the long run is forgivable. ABC's mocking tests the limits.

I trust that the church will seek criminal charges for theft against GMA, ABC and the individuals involved.

That'll make a funny follow-up story.

Theft is a crime, and there is nothing funny about crime.  The fact that someone steals from a Church makes it even worse.  And it's truly despicable that the same people who think it's funny that Churches have to take measures to recover their stolen property have security guards surrounding them when ever they appear in public and, most likely, have alarm systems installed in their residences.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank ABC and GMA personally for ridiculing my faith and the forefather's of this country. Maybe they could do some jokes about cripples falling down stairs, that would be just as funny.
