Former Chicago Alderwoman Arenda Troutman pleaded guilty yesterday (8/6/08) to felony counts of mail fraud and tax fraud. She faces up to 5 years in prison. The Chicago Tribune reported the story, and the Los Angeles Times published an edited version of the Trib's report.
Can you guess the one word that you won't find in either story? "Democrat." According to Wikipedia, "In 2006, Troutman was active in fundraising for Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and in 2002 was a campaign advisor for Vice Presidential candidate John Edwards."
Gee. The papers didn't label Troutman as a Democrat. Haven't we heard this before?

I heard about this earlier this morning....he could get up to fifteen years just for this.
Where's the breaking news...Where's the television camera's...where's the msm following his every move, where's all the breathless reporting naming his party affiliation every other sentence...where's the same ol' same ol' lines of Culture of Corruption phrase every other paragraph they spew...where are the reporters breathlessly asking his mom Cheeks what she thinks, is her own reelection in trouble...huh...where are the questions that should be asked, and would if this was reversed and this was the repub party?
