CNN Highlights E-Mail Calling Bush a 'Born-Again Idiot'

Via Breitbart (with video).

At 3:35pm ET on today's CNN Newsroom (10/9/07), the hosts were reading viewer e-mails. Here's what they read from a "Chuck" in Las Vegas, Nevada (emphasis mine):

After all these years of sex and money scandals, to say nothing of the born-again idiot in the White House, one might reasonably expect that by now the Christians would have lost some of their smug superiority over the rest of us. Dear Jesus, save us from your followers!

A couple moments after the letter was read, both hosts appeared to momentarily show slight mischievous grins.

Good ... grief.

Apparently CNN has no

Apparently CNN has no standards regarding which e-mails they'll read, just as long as they're hateful towards President Bush...

More guilt...no glory

Oh, it was a hit on Bush!

Putting together "the idiot in the white house", "smug superiority" and "Dear Jesus, save us from your followers" I assumed the email was a toss-up between referring to I've-lusted-in-my-heart Carter and ten-pound-bible-toting Clinton.  My mistake...but it seemed like a natural assumption.

Very sharp. :) But, if you

Very sharp. :) But, if you had been correct, they wouldn't have read it...

i never watch CNN but was at

i never watch CNN but was at the bank this afternoon and was reading the emails on thier tv. Absolutley NO bias whatsoever.(much much sarcasm in that statement) I was making all sorts of sighs and gasps and muttering angrily to myself then realized i was in a public place that chose to put CNN on so not many people would commiserate with me.

Well, I look at it this way...

I'll be happy to gather and worship with all the "born-again idiots" (me included) after the rapture and morn for all the intelligent sinners who are destroyed.

Spot on C5..  their smug

Spot on C5..  their smug arrogance is beyond belief.  They are going to be like deer in the headlights when the Rapture occurs. It will not be pretty.

Bill O'Reilly never reads emails that attack Democratic Politicians - he's fair and balanced -

Isn't your shift over yet?

Isn't your shift over yet?

A news network that reads emails attacking politicians?

I'm glad Fox news doesn't do that - still classic was Gretchen Carlson's comment today that Chris Matthews' anti-Bush remarks were BLASPHEMOUS!!!

Now, is your shift over?

Why are you making something into that which it was not intended?

Exactly what are you inferrring about Carlson's commentary?

Killing them with kindness isn't working.  Time to get scrappy with the Donkeys.

Carlson's commentary

That she believes George W is god-like...

I don't recall Carlson

I don't recall Carlson referencing George Bush in that manner during her commentary.

When did she say this previously?

10/9 Fox & Friends

Again, we receive our talking points from our own heads, and also,  Chris Matthews did not say those blasphemous comments on his show; he said them at a public event, where maybe he felt that nobody else was listening.....

Talking points from our own heads...priceless!!

Good point. A comment made

Good point. A comment made at a public event has very little chance of bineg "listened to". You make perfect sense.

Interesting use of language from someone who just ridiculed a news bimbette's interesting use of language.

Get out of town. He'd ruin his keyboard with his flying spittle...

Chris,

LOL-Well, I encountered him in a thread about CM dropping quotes that, if they were actually uttered by CM, would be the only non-biased comments he ever made.

So, I added 2 + 2.

Heck, maybe I came up with 3.5.

Damn HP & Reverse Polish Notation!

How many more CM quotes do you need

Since you're sure those are the only non-biased quotes he's ever made, you'll be unglued if I give you one or two more - just give me a number and I'll produce - let's be clear - he doesn't like George W Bush, and he wants to see Giulani or McCain as president - BTW, I loved the debate tonite, those guys distancing from GW.

Dave, It does make one

Dave, It does make one wonder. If the head of Whole Foods can go on and talk up his company like he was someone else, then why not? However, I'm thinking that Chris Matthews couldn't actually shut up long enough to type - unless he has a transcriber for his keyboard and then his comments would run to forty inches of screen space and be dripping with...

...and be dripping

...and be dripping with...

Yeah, I know. Spittle. LOL.

Chris, perhaps he has made use of a keyboard condom?

At least O'Reilly reads

At least O'Reilly reads e-mals and viewer comments that are from all sides of the issue.

When was the last time that CNN or MSNBC ran any e-mails that were approving of the current administration?

If CNN reads an anti-bush email

...then ALL of their emails must be anti-bush.  I get it.  What a theory.  And if I point out 1, the response is, okay, 1 out of a million, and if I point out 10, the response is, still, it's mainly anti-republican, and then if it's 1000, you scream CNN is liberal.

there are people out there who approve of the current administration?

Yes, but sorry to say, more people approve of the administration than approve of the democrat lead congress.

Right wingers - swing and a miss...

The reason the Congressional approval rating is so low is that the Democrats are pissed that the Democratic congress isn't standing up to Bozo the Bush, it always goes back to GW.

BOZO RULES!!

BOZO RULES!!

So, you agree that the

So, you agree that the Democrat(ic)s in Congress are impotent, incapable of accomplishing anything bigger than naming some post offices? Your sissy Democrat(ic)s can't stand up to Chimpy McHitler? Talk about losers. What kind of douchebags follow losers like that? Why, douchbags like you.

And part of the reason

And part of the reason Bush's approval ratings are so low is that he has not stood up to Democrats like a true conservative.  You see, that goes both ways.  Not everyone who disapproves with Bush agrees with Democrats.

Ah, good old CNN.....were these emails they read just "out of the blue" or connected to a story they were doing?

At any rate, they never miss a chance to do a little Christian-bashing, even if it has to be second-hand.
