At 3:35pm ET on today's CNN Newsroom (10/9/07), the hosts were reading viewer e-mails. Here's what they read from a "Chuck" in Las Vegas, Nevada (emphasis mine):
After all these years of sex and money scandals, to say nothing of the born-again idiot in the White House, one might reasonably expect that by now the Christians would have lost some of their smug superiority over the rest of us. Dear Jesus, save us from your followers!
A couple moments after the letter was read, both hosts appeared to momentarily show slight mischievous grins.
Good ... grief.

October 9, 2007 - 18:39 ET by acumenOh, it was a hit on Bush!
Putting together "the idiot in the white house", "smug superiority" and "Dear Jesus, save us from your followers" I assumed the email was a toss-up between referring to I've-lusted-in-my-heart Carter and ten-pound-bible-toting Clinton. My mistake...but it seemed like a natural assumption.

Absolutley NO bias whatsoever.(much much sarcasm in that statement) I was making all sorts of sighs and gasps and muttering angrily to myself then realized i was in a public place that chose to put CNN on so not many people would commiserate with me.

A news network that reads emails attacking politicians?
October 9, 2007 - 18:44 ET by mgerardnI'm glad Fox news doesn't do that - still classic was Gretchen Carlson's comment today that Chris Matthews' anti-Bush remarks were BLASPHEMOUS!!!

So, I added 2 + 2.

How many more CM quotes do you need
October 9, 2007 - 19:19 ET by mgerardnSince you're sure those are the only non-biased quotes he's ever made, you'll be unglued if I give you one or two more - just give me a number and I'll produce - let's be clear - he doesn't like George W Bush, and he wants to see Giulani or McCain as president - BTW, I loved the debate tonite, those guys distancing from GW.

If CNN reads an anti-bush email

And if I point out 1, the response is, okay, 1 out of a million, and if I point out 10, the response is, still, it's mainly anti-republican, and then if it's 1000, you scream CNN is liberal.
