Former Abortionist Reveals ‘Violent Reality’ of Abortion in New Videos

These are the videos the media don’t want the public to see, because they show abortion for what it is: the violent destruction of an unborn baby.

But that is precisely why Americans must watch them.

Pro-life group Live Action launched a website (AbortionProcedures.com) and released new videos Wednesday as part of a campaign to change the debate on abortion in 2016. Narrated by former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino, the animated videos illustrate how different types of abortions are performed.

A respected obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Levatino performed more than 1,200 abortions toward the start of his career until he became pro-life.

For this project, Live Action president and founder Lila Rose interviewed Dr. Levatino about abortion and how the death of his daughter changed his mind about it.

But the project centered on the four additional videos that showed “four of the most common abortion procedures” in medical animation (rather than graphic imagery). According to the group’s accompanying press release, the information was backed by peer-reviewed medical journals and was developed and reviewed by practicing OB-GYNs, medical professionals and former abortionists.

1. The first trimester medical abortion that is performed with abortion pills and causes the unborn baby to be stillborn:

2. The first trimester suction D&C (dilation and curettage) or aspiration abortion that is performed with a vacuum to suck and pull out the unborn baby from his or her mother:

3. The second trimester D&E (dilation and excavation) abortion that is performed with instruments like forceps to rip apart unborn baby limbs and crush his or her skull:

4. The third trimester induction abortion that is performed with a chemical injection that stops an unborn baby’s heart before he or she is delivered stillborn a couple days later:

Rose stressed that the videos could change (and maybe save) people’s lives.

“Our experience shows us that once people see the violent reality of what abortion does to a preborn child,” she said in the press release, “it’s hard for them to justify it.”

“This unique window into the womb dispels the myth that abortions remove ‘clumps of cells,’” Rose continued, “and instead shows that they kill real children with beating hearts and forming brains.”

Besides that, Rose said the videos break through the lies surrounding abortion.

From previous investigations, Live Action found that abortionists “frequently lie to women” on three things: “how developed their babies are, the brutality abortion inflicts on preborn children, and the risks abortion procedures pose to women's health and safety,” according to Rose.  “No one knows more about these lies -- or how to unmask them -- than an abortionist.”

She also challenged the “abortion lobby,” including NARAL and Planned Parenthood, for a response.

Besides informing the public, Live Action hopes the website “serves as a resource for women who are pregnant and considering abortion.”

The liberal media will likely censor these videos as they have done with other pro-life videos in the past, including the videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s harvesting of aborted baby parts released by the Center for Medical Progress.
