In honor of inauguration week, ABC's Match Game decided to throw out a question about President-elect Donald J. Trump.
Liberal host Alec Baldwin, who portrays Trump on Saturday Night Live, gave the prompt: “Donald Trump is starring in a remake of 'Brokeback Mountain.' But instead of a cowboy, Donald falls in love with BLANK.” Surprisingly, the answers (and Baldwin’s demeanor) were rather mild, considering the set up.
Andy Richter started off the celebrities with “a wall." He added that “like a Dutch boy, he sticks something in it.” A clear jab at Trump’s wall for the Mexican border along with the media's mania/fake news over his sex life.
Skylar Astin answered “himself” and cited that “Donald Trump has never been the most modest.” Caroline Rhea and Neil Degrasse Tyson matched with Astin.
Judy Greer answered with “ATM” and Bellamy Young with “a big pile of money.”
The contestant answered “the horse,” failing to get a match.
Truthfully, the answers could have been a lot worse. Maybe Hollywood is finally realizing that it doesn't pay to all out blast a man half the country voted for. Only time will tell.
