One of America’s favorite corn-chip snacks just got in touch with its gender sexuality side.

According to NBC, “Doritos unveiled bags of rainbow-colored corn chips on Thursday in support of the It Gets Better Project, an organization started to encourage gay and lesbian teenagers who've been bullied.”

The cool-ranch flavored chip will now sport an edible version of the Gay Pride flag. For a limited time, the bold and better triangles will feature the colors green, blue, purple, red, and orange.

Ram Krishnan, chief marketing officer of Frito Lay’s stated, [The chips] “show our commitment toward equal rights for the LGBT community and celebrate humanity without exception.”

Don’t go thinking you can find this sexually fluid snack just anywhere though. “The only way to get a bag is by making a donation of $10 or more through the website for the It Gets Better Project, a campaign that supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth,” reported Time.

The It Gets Better Project is a non-profit started by gay rights activist Dan Savage. The group seeks to helps LGBT bullied teens know that “it gets better” for them. Which is ironic, since Savage is a bully against anyone who has a different viewpoint than him on the LGBT community.

The announcement of the LGBT chips was made just in time for Dallas Pride event taking place this Sunday. Doritos is one of the event’s corporate sponsors.

Hopefully “it will get better” once these limited edition pride chip’s time is up and the snack chip can go back to normal. Besides, who wants to pay $10 for a bag of air?
