Actress Rebel Wilson did a comedic police bit on the MTV 2015 Video Music Awards and the Black Lives Matter activists were none too pleased.
I know a lot of people have problems with the police. But I really hate police strippers. Yeah. You guys know what I'm talking about? They come to your house, you think you're getting arrested and you just get a lap dance that is usually uninspired! I hired a police stripper for my grandmother's 80th, and he wouldn't even feel her up. Well, I paid an extra hundred dollars for her to get an erotic back massage, but it only lasted for one song! I hate this injustice. Hence the shirt.
Twitter outrage predictably ensued.
Mock the Black Lives Matter Movement before presenting Best Rap Video. I see you white supremacy. I see you. #VMAs

.@RebelWilson/@MTV, police violence isn't a joke, as the deaths of #TamirRice, #RekiaBoyd, #FreddieGray, #MikeBrown, & #MyaHall remind us.

I bet you @MTV wouldn't make a joke about white boys who shoot up movie theater or schools to introduce the best Country video.

Personally I find it far more offensive that they did this bit after the execution-style murder of Texas Deputy Sheriff Darren Goforth, but the #BLM crowd probably doesn't want to talk about that one.
