I don't ever remember hearing the MSM saying a judge was "Borked" or waring the public that GWBs SCOTUS nominees would be "Borked".  Despite it being a commonly known and used term even among those left of center.

Funny, how the media decides which terms become engrained, not.

Lots of Vietnam vet's (me included) donated to the Swift Boat Vet's because they told the truth about a traitor. When you have the lie that he was sent to Cambodia by a president who wasn't president at the time why would anyone try to defend the known liar and public traitor? Why does no one else remember the mission to Cambodia, was he a lone wolf, kill them by the thousands comando? Na, just a liar who bragged to his friends and couldn't withdraw the lies.

I actually feel sorry for his family, living with a known liar and traitor could lead to drug abuse.

His 'honorable discharge' is dated 1978, not the actual year he was discharged.

That's after the Carter presidential pardon of draft dodgers and other less-than-honorable dischargees.

According to law, anybody could apply for an upgraded discharge and the original would be destroyed.

It's a compelling implication that this is exactly what Kerry did, based on that date on the form, as I saw it posted on his campaign website.

Or has this 'swift-boating' smear been debunked somewhere else? <grin> 

Show me Senator Kerry's records. Release his Page 2! Kerry has promised on many occasions to release his records and has never done so. Why? Until then, every charge made by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth remains the only truth!

Look, "rebutting" the charges is not "disproving" them. If they had disproved any of the charges, Zernicke would have said so.

"Swiftboating" means exposing exaggerated claims using factual, eyewitness accounts. Kerry was a showboater who got what he deserved - swiftboating. Not only did he fake injuries to get out of service early, he returned and slandered every American serviceman in Congressional hearings. Then he pretended to throw someone else's medals over the fence. Has John Kerry ever stopped his fakery? Apparently not.

T. Boone Pickes still has his million bucks, Kerry is still a liar, Zernicke is still a media whore.

the first Swift Boat ad broadcast on cable television, French made the initial
televised allegation against Kerry: "I served with John Kerry. He's lying
about his record."

In preparation for the
ad, French, a senior deputy district attorney in Oregon
and registered Republican, signed a sworn affidavit for the Swift Boat Vets
asserting that Kerry received his
Purple Heart "from negligently self-inflicted wounds in the absence of
hostile fire." A fundamental requirement of any affidavit is that the
person signing it must have personal knowledge of the matters involved. In
fact, the affidavit French signed declared, "I do hereby swear, that all
facts and statements contained in this affidavit are true and correct and
within my personal knowledge and belief." (Emphasis

Portland,
French freely admitted he had no firsthand knowledge of the events surrounding
Kerry's medals and that his information came from secondhand accounts from
"friends."

Nearly three dozen local
attorneys quickly filed complaints with the Oregon State Bar, complaining that
French, a practicing prosecutor,
never should have signed an affidavit about
events that he knew nothing about. The county prosecutor's office launched an
investigation, and French was quickly reprimanded for improperly using office resources to criticize Kerry. The
office also discovered that French had previously lied to his superior about
having an affair with a co-worker, an affair that would have cost French his job. Yet French spent
the summer of 2004 publicly labeling Kerry a liar based on nothing more than secondhand gossip."

The primary complaint that SBVT raised against Kerry was his testimony and activities after he returned from Viet Nam.  The media seems ignorant of the videos of Kerry in front of Congress claiming he had witnessed and participated in widespread war crimes.  Kerry later claims he had exaggerated these allegations.  Too bad this anti-American screed is on tape.

Also, Kerry throwing his medals over the fence at the White House in another anti-US rally is caught on tape.  Kerry's excuse: they weren't his medals, they were someone else's.  Great excuse.

So while the media is focused on whether Kerry deserved his medals they are ignoring the video evidence of his traitorous activities.  This is akin to having video evidence of someone committing rape but claiming that the defendant is being impugned because nobody saw him jay-walking.
