Welcome to the 2007 Top Ten Lowlights of The New York Times. As usual, the year brought a cornucopia of biased behavior by the nation's paper of record, from sliming innocent Duke lacrosse players to defending illegal immigration to yet another liberal rant from a high-level Times executive (this year it was Executive Editor Bill Keller who did the honors). Times Watch has whittled down the absolute worst from another liberally slanted year from the New York Times. For the full report, visit Times Watch. Here are the headlines for a taste:

10. Bill Keller Unleashed in London -- "War Going Very Badly in Iraq"

9. The Haditha "Massacre"

8. Doubting the Fort Dix Six Terror Plot

7. France's Fearsome Nicolas Sarkozy

6. Gee, Why Is Dick Cheney So Secretive?

5. Reporter Chastised for Saying "Surge" Worth a Shot...

4. Blaming the Victims in the Duke "Rape" Hoax

3. Loving the (Illegal) Alien

2. Deep Discount for MoveOn.org's "Petraeus-Betray Us" Ad

1. Grossly Biased Giuliani Coverage

The phrasing of this entry

The phrasing of this entry seems to imply that these are the actual, verbatim NYT headlines. May I assume this is not the case?

"He was, and is yet, most likely, the wearisomest, self-righteous
pharisee that ever ransacked a Bible to rake the promises to himself
and fling the curses on his neighbors."
-Emily Bronte

Credibility is a joke

Executive Editor Bill Keller should know better than anyone, the N.Y.T is nothing more than a has been political machine for left wing liberals. Any thinking person knows that N.Y.T is only being confused with a news outlet. The reality is N.Y.T makes news when they should be reporting the news. Circulation is down because credibility is down, when the editor's find themselves in the unemployment line because advertising money has dried up that will be justice. Perhaps the Editors can find work at other socialist MSM outlets, P.B.S or N.Y.P, A.B.C, C.B.S, N.B.C.

Lefties

Everything the ultra-lefties like Punch and Keller touch, such as the NYT or Air America, sinks like a rock. Everything looney "liberals" touch, such as the educational system, drags on and on to the ultimate detriment of everyone. Whether it works its deadly power quickly or more slowly and painfully, the cancer of "liberalism" is a scourge to all people.

NEVER,NEVER trust a "liberal"
