Bozell Column: David Limbaugh's Devastating Book
It’s clear David Limbaugh isn’t writing books with the goal of being honored in the salons of the liberal media. He doesn’t mince words with the media. His devastating new book on Barack Obama is titled "The Great Destroyer: Barack Obama’s War on the Republic."
It’s a bracing antidote to the intoxicated oozing of the "mainstream" press. There is so much withering artillery fire against Obama’s damaging presidency in this book, you hardly know where to begin.
I probably enjoyed most the chapter on "The War on the Dignity of His Office." As I write, Obama’s preparing yet another gathering of New York and Hollywood celebrities lining up to donate to America’s Ultimate Celebrity. Reagan used to praise the worker in the checkout line. For this president, everyone is a resident of Beverly Hills. Limbaugh piles on the proof that Obama has an enormous ego he needs stroked daily.
The "news" media that explicitly compared Obama before he took office to FDR and Lincoln clearly have gone to Obama’s head. Journalists didn’t blink last December when Obama told Steve Kroft on "60 Minutes" that he’s America’s fourth greatest president. "I would put our legislative and foreign policy achievements in our first two years against any president – with the possible exceptions of Johnson, FDR, and Lincoln – just in terms of what we’ve gotten done in modern history."
Note he said these were "possible" exceptions. He could be the greatest, ever.
Months later, Obama invoked other historical figures as similar forces for change: “Around the world, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, what they did was hard. It takes time. It takes more than a single term.” I’m surprised any man’s neck could sustain a head as big as Obama’s.
Limbaugh even quotes liberal New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd. "Despite what his rivals say, the president and the first lady do believe in American exceptionalism — their own, and they feel overassaulted and underappreciated." Dowd cited her Times colleague Jodi Kantor, who wrote in her book on the Obamas that the First Couple isolated themselves in a “bubble within the bubble,” with just “their small circle of Chicago friends, who reinforced the idea that "the American public just did not appreciate their exceptional leader.” But Bush is the one who is in the bubble on the cover of Newsweek. Barack gets a rainbow halo over his head.
The pro-Obama media don’t take exception to Obama’s overweening egotism. They have made him the Emperor With No Clothes, and they continue to compliment his invisible finery.
Limbaugh unloads the armory on Obama’s “frequent, extravagant vacations and golf outings,” which the press blindly accepts as well-deserved. Helluva 99 percenter this man is. The extreme clash this represents with the “Occupy Wall Street” movement is rarely highlighted by the Obama-loving media elite. There have been no “disastrous optics” for Obama in golfing after the tsunami in Japan, or skipping his commitment to attend the Polish president’s funeral for another round on the links. There have been no Occupiers protesting Obama’s lavish vacations in Hawaii and Martha’s Vineyard or Michelle Obama’s trips to Aspen or sunny Spain.
And President Obama, he writes, "still can’t resist placing himself in the cultural limelight, appearing on pop-culture television programs ranging from ‘The Daily Show’ to ‘Mythbusters.’" Obama loves appearing on shows like "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," where he can make viral videos of Fallon’s latest edition of Extreme Fawn-Over. When Obama came through the curtain, the crowd unleashed a screaming standing ovation reminiscent of the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show. Then they "slow-jammed the news," which was really just Obama making a campaign speech to bedroom-eyes soul music in the background.
Fallon followed up Obama’s rhetoric for low-interest federal student loans with embarrassing lines like "Awww yeah. You should listen to the president. Or as I like to call him, the Preezy of the United Steezy." Move over, Bill Clinton. Obama is now the coolest person in the room.
After Obama attacked Republicans, Fallon added: Mmm, mmm, mmm. The Barack Ness monster ain't buying it....And the President knows his stuff, y'all. That's why they call him POTUS, which means person on top -- what is it?" Obama replied, "Jimmy, POTUS stands for President of the United States." Singer Tariq Trotter then sang in tribute: "He's the POTUS with the mostest!" Deep.
Fallon ended this spectacle later by saying, "We don't take sides politically on this show." This bald-faced campaign ad by the Obama donors at Comcast/NBC is exactly what David Limbaugh is trying to fight – a unanimous media that sees Obama just as he sees himself, as a historic figure, an icon, and someone who isn’t ruining America.

Lets help by putting the media ----- especially the morning sleazoids---- in ads questioning their honesty. George Stephanopoulos should be nowhere near a camera. He is a partisan lying hack and every (female) should know it. And if there are any men watching him, they should lose their guy card and don an apron.

Excellent stuff. It makes me smile, just knowing that there are people out there who still have huevos to tell it like it is. I tell it like it is every day (mostly on Facebook), and I get slammed by people all the time. But I am trying to be an ambassador of information, because it is NEEDED in order to avoid a catastrophe in November. Obama must go!!!

There is a famous quote: "If you're not catching flak, you're not over the target."
Don't ever back down.
A doctrine insulates the devout not only against the realities around them but also against their own selves. The fanatical believer is not conscious of his envy, malice, pettiness and dishonesty. There is a wall of words between his consciousness and his real self.

Limbaugh one of the best...

I read his book, "Bankrupt" from 2006 and thought it was one of the best political reads ever. Really looking forward to buying this one. David Limbaugh is one of our best political writers and I know this book will be great. Michael Savage's "Trickle Down Tyranny" was to the point, whereas Limbaugh explains things in greater detail....Point being if you've never read a Limbaugh book, get this and get ready to enjoy. I just got Savage's book, "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder". I will be buying this as soon as I finish that one.....

....with good reason.
I posted on yesterday's OT the links to Ulsterman's White House Insider, which covered Obama's fascination with his "power" over life and death using drones......and his sick habit of watching these snuff films over and over.
Now, connect the dots to drones flying over the United States, because the EPA has to be able to check out cattle farms, of course THAT's reasonable. And the item on Drudge wherein spy drones are being offered to 18,000 law enforcement organizations. And of course, then there are the dots to Holder's Justice Department prosecuting states for enforcing their own laws (Florida being the latest over purging illegal alien voters from our rolls).
I'm waiting for the OWies to start up again this summer, so we can have a big fat crisis in November....my only question at this point is whether the Chicago Mafia has the stones to actually try it....we shall see.
Great column on David Limbaugh's book. I'm looking forward to it, as well as "The Amateur". We have got to get this crazy person and his cohorts out of government.

After last night, I would say that it's an easy prediction to make that we're going to see a real sh*tstorm" coming in as a result of Walker's win.(I love saying that, Walker's Win, kinda rolls off the tongue, ya know?)
This might be the precursor to it, and would give our lord and savior the chance to start doing some local executions vis a vis the drones. I know one thing for sure, people need to watch and skies and see if any of the drones have missiles on them, and if they do, there'll be hell to pay for that. I know there are the smaller drones, they won't be carrying any weapons due to the weight, but if the predator ones are spotted, our lives might be in danger as citizens of the US.
I'd say it's time to start practicing constant vigilance.

Hussein Obama puts the POS in POTUS.
Submitted by AFVet on Wed, 06/06/2012 - 12:35pm.
Hussein Obama puts the POS in POTUS. I thought Clinton was a scumbag, horn-dog, and liar and that Carter was just hugely inept. But Hussein Obama is basically anti-American, he states that our Constitution is a flawed document and side steps it at every opportunity, Hussein believes he is above the law and has been under contempt of court orders for his moratorium in Gulf Oil Drilling, Hussein has told his EPA and Justice Departments heads that they do not need to answer to Congress and the Representatives of 'We the People'. Hussein has been slashing our national defenses from Pacific Missile Defense, the F-22, C-17, F-35, European Missile Defense, and overall defense spending and has been cutting our nuclear deterrent at break neck speed.
And do not forget those white police officers that arrested his racist professor friend were acting stupidly. I am a veteran and I never thought I would hate a US President, but......

The reason Mandela went to prison as every Afrikaaner knows, he was and probably still is a died-in-the-wool commie who was trying along with Joe Slovo and the femthug Winnie to overthrow the government.

The South African Communist Party is still a big deal there. Look here:
