NB Publisher Bozell: Tell the Truth About Your Bias, Tom Brokaw
Editor's Note: What follows is a statement released this morning by NewsBusters publisher and Media Research Center (MRC) president Brent Bozell.
Come on, Tell The Truth, Tom! What really irks you is not that you're part of a presidential ad; it's that you're part of a Republican candidate's ad. You used NBC and your anchor chair as a platform to promote Democratic agendas and delight in Republican setbacks for more than 20 years. And you stood behind that reporting as a fair exercise in journalistic ethics, even when it was far from the truth.
If Tom Brokaw really cared about this kind of bias, he would do something about his own network and especially its sister network MSNBC given their outrageous pro-Obama nightly commentary disguised as news.

92 election when Rather was broadcasting the results. I couldnt help but noticce the further ahead Clinton got, the broader Rather's grin became. By the end of the night he could no longer contain his glee. He and brokaw are birds of a feather.

NBC has the impression that they can shuttle their zombies over to MSDNC to 'let out steam' and vent their hatred of conservatives and Republicans periodically and that will shield them from being seen as biased.
Actually, they do the same thing on their home turf at NBC. Any time they have to interview or report on a conservative they wear a facial expression akin to someone on day 5 of a bout with total constipation.

remarks about Conservatives being a jihadist group should have ended his has been career. He was nothing but a bias,bashing "news anchor" the entire time he hit the camera. He is now whinning and crying about not wanting to be involved in campaigns but his past/present is being the number 1 cheerleader for libs running for office.

Hey, Brent, Noel and all you others: I'll bet you that people like Brokaw and others just HATE you! Brokaw and his cronies think we are complete idiots so this is why he does what he does.
Of course, what he really knows is the what is actually the truth. The people he cares about are idiots he can fool...his base, and the one who aren't he doesn't care about anyway.
Here's the problem. Thankfully, you and other watchdog sites are blowing the whistle on these guys. Keep it up!

...at least in his own mind. In reality, not so much, but I suspect he may take umbrage that you pointed that out. It's quite enjoyable to see him suffer; he has deserved it for a long time.
