Seven years ago America was attacked. Thousands of innocents were murdered. As a nation we were first stunned, then saddened, and then angered, united as we hadn’t been for half a century, committed in a common purpose to fight back and defeat what was now a national enemy. There were many heroes that day. We honored them all then, and today we honor them again.
The mission of the Media Research Center is to document, expose and neutralize liberal media bias. We do so relentlessly. But if our mission is to take to task those who err in their roles as news journalists, we are also honor-bound to recognize their efforts when they excel in their profession. On 9-11-01, and in the days that followed, we saw the American news media at their finest. Several months after this horrific event, during the MRC’s Annual Gala in Washington DC, we unveiled a video tribute to these men and women, recognizing their excellence, and thanking them for it.
It is fitting that today, on the seventh anniversary of 9-11, that we release this video again, with our gratitude.

Excellent Work!
September 11, 2008 - 13:03 ET by Secret ConservativeBrent,
Excellent work on this media tribute. I truly wish that more news outlets would show footage from 9/11 and remembrances on a regular basis. I know they say we shouldn't because the country must heal I think we have healed, but we have also forgotten. And we must never forget. Thank you.
Republicans Have Hijacked 911
September 11, 2008 - 13:03 ET by bacaloveRepublicans Hijacked 911, by Keith Olberman on 9/11! Courage to Speak Truth!

Never again should a President you want to have a beer with be allowed to lie the American public into a False & Phony war and ignore the real war as George W. Bush was able too! National Security strength, I don't think so, after all 911 happened on the Republicans' watch, but they distorted that message too and you would think that Democrats are weak on national security! Politicans who lie to the public are engaged in a betrayal of the public trust and such distortion should be deemed unethical and in some cases, criminal!
And, it is an outrage or should be that the government can give millions of dollars to CEO’s from the failed Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac and yet, cannot give a second stimulus check to American citizens in these hard economic times?
Republicans say No to a second stimulus while the Democrats say Yes to a second stimulus!
Is the Republican Congress working for CEO’s or are they working for you, the people?
and you would think that
September 11, 2008 - 13:27 ET by Newsbusterbrownand you would think that Democrats are weak on national security!
Actually, I don't think it. I know it.

bacawuv .. hmm, I seem to remember
September 11, 2008 - 13:34 ET by Gary HallHmm. I seem to remember a stimulous check in the fall of 2001. The current stimulous check (mine should be coming soon) would have been the "second" one from this administration. (;~> gary

September 11, 2008 - 13:38 ET by Mica the MagnificentUmmm, this isn't the time or place for your soapbox speech.
I realize libs like you don't give a rats a** about 9/11, but we do.
You may impress your teddy bear and your other dolls you line up on your bed for the 'big speech' but we are not impressed. No milk and cookie reward here.
Kindly take your immature rant that you probably copied from the Daily Kos and remember, we are not your mommy. We don't think everything you write or color is 'wonderful.'
This is neither the time...

Thank you, Mr. Bozell...
September 11, 2008 - 13:06 ET by PrairieSkyand all those at MRC, for re-releasing this video. I have often thought that every citizen in this country should be required to see images like these at least 2 or 3 times a year, just to remind us all of what we lost on 9/11. I love my country dearly, but I do believe that as a country, America has Attention Deficit Disorder! We forget too quickly what 9/11 cost us as a nation, and that it changed us all, and the world, forever.

Tears
September 11, 2008 - 13:10 ET by JOSH R-NYFor most of today, I held back tears as I watched the ceremonies and I even tuned in to MSNBC this morning to watch the "as it happened" coverage from September 11, 2001. But, this video brought on my tears. It found a way to fully revoke all those feelings that I had on that morning of Sept 11.
I was awoken to shock that day, "Josh, we're getting bombed" my mother said. Thirty miles away from my Long Island home, the first plane had just hit the towers. This video, brought back those memories just as much, if not more than any video tribute that I have seen. Thank you for making sure that I dont forget what that day will always mean. I will never forget, and the rage will never go away, I will always feel the pain of that day inside me. Your video helped me make sure that it will never go away.
Thank You,
Josh

September 11, 2008 - 14:01 ET by FOXFANGreat job Brent, you captured real Americans that day. This should be shown everywhere, but won't. It is a moving video that I hope you repeat each year, it makes one proud to be an American. Thanks.
As for the above loon, Olberman and truth don't belong in the same sentence.

September 11, 2008 - 14:26 ET by bigtimerMr. Bozell....
Once again...
Thank You.
As I shed a few tears watching this, it is also a crying shame how soon people forget the unity, respect, love and strength we all had for each other, including the msm...and the ungrateful leftists in the democrat party.
I thank the President, I thank our military, past and present, I also thank God for all that has been bestowed upon this great nation to keep us the strongest country on earth.

I'm chicken to watch the TV today. Any exposure to the reissued 911 fake "stories" being force feed, at this moment, just to much to swallow on 9-11-08.

I also....
September 12, 2008 - 04:23 ET by old crowould like to thank NB and Mr. Bozell for releasing this video. I had not seen it before - it is very moving. Please make it a point to post this yearly, though, as I posted previously, everytime my digital clock says 9:11 - and I happen to see it, I am reminded of the horror of that day. You have given me some different images to remember - some better, some worse, but all pertinent. Again, Thank You.
