If you didn't already have reason enough to avoid Keith Olbermann's left-wing screeching on Countdown, here's another one: Tonight (Wednesday), for the first time, he will devote his entire MSNBC hour, sans relief for commercials, to a “Special Comment” -- the kind of high-handed pontificating, laced with mean-spirited and cheap insults toward conservatives, so far confined to the last 8 to 11 minutes of the 8 PM EDT/5 PM PDT program re-run at 10 PM EDT/7 PM PDT.
“Special Comment Hour” topic: “Health Care Reform: The Fight Against Death.”

October 7, 2009 - 11:51 ET by katainkentthat much uninterrupted ignorance and arrogance could put a tear in reality and place us all at risk of getting sucked into a black hole of hypocrisy no one will be able to escape from. I think for the safety of the world, MSNBC should be dropped from the airwaves and simply replaced with a test pattern.
Please, think of the children MSNBC. Think of the world.

This might be worth a watch
October 7, 2009 - 12:56 ET by fitzfongThis might be worth a watch just for the self-important spectacle of it. Olbermann obviously has a Howard Beale complex, completely missing the fact that Howard Beale is a fictional character. The potential for crash-and-burn disaster is very high, and it might be entertaining to watch this tick pop right on the air.

der Olbergrupen furher
October 7, 2009 - 13:31 ET by LCT688der Obergrupen furher will no doubt only alienate even more of his rapidly dwindling viewers by going on a 1 hour rant. Will be shades of Castro or Qadafi bloviating at the UN. If it were possibe to track his numbers in real time I would be willing to bet a large sum that they will go into precipitious decline after the first 10 mins. The only questions remaining being how many of those who tune out will never return, and how many who stay, in reality fell asleep in the same first 10 mins. For myself I can not watch, not for lack of trying, but the urge to start throwing things at the TV just becomes too overwhelming.
