Rush Limbaugh will make a rare comedy show appearance tonight (Thursday) as a guest on The Jay Leno Show.
It airs on NBC at 10 PM EDT/PDT, 9 PM CDT.
He should appear in the second half of the hour-long program.
On Friday, RushLimbaugh.com will likely have video, but watch tonight on TV to see it sooner.
UPDATE: Just saw a promo. Limbaugh will also take part in the "Green Car Challenge," so tune in earlier than the mid-way mark.

Rush
September 24, 2009 - 18:30 ET by Emma GrumpIt sickened me, but I watched our local NBC-affiliated news broadcast tonight, just to see if The Jay Leno show was advertised as it usually is. The ad was on, but they promoted Jay's guest lineup for Friday night, not Thursday's, and no mention was made of Rush. Hmmm....probably just an oversight..yuk-yuk-yuk.

...and pigs fly.
Bet Leno has one of his highest ratings with this show tonight since he first started his show.

Hope to catch it tonight,
September 24, 2009 - 18:36 ET by bigtimerHope to catch it tonight, but doubtful, I will have to catch it from Rush's site tomorrow, glad this info is being spread everywhere though, makes the left angry, as usual.
I know it's been all over Twitter today...so, take it from there...hehee.

I agree - Refuse to watch it on NBC
September 24, 2009 - 18:57 ET by PoljunkWill catch in on Rush's site.
the flip side - It's all about ratings
September 24, 2009 - 20:21 ET by mom_roxI understand your position of not wanting to watch an NBC show, however the flip side is that the NBC execs will take notice if a conservative guest gets high ratings. (and I'm betting Rush will ;)

Thanks for the reminder
September 24, 2009 - 19:31 ET by moderncommentaries83I just set my DVR to record Leno.

I hope he's the no-holds-barred Limbaugh
September 24, 2009 - 19:44 ET by alwaysconI hope he's the no-holds-barred Limbaugh on Leno rather than playing it more moderate to pander to libs and fake conservatives. He always seems to do that on his MSM TV appearances. Have some balls on Leno, Rush! Attack on healthcare, mock the whole "green car" thing. Don't hold back!!!
It's always hard to predict,
September 24, 2009 - 19:52 ET by celatorIt's always hard to predict, but my gut tells me that Rush will use the opportunity to clarify the issues, give his take on what is going on in Washington in a no holds barred manner. He'll be respectful to Leno, the audience etc. But he'll not hold back on where he is coming from. Should be good.
I remember when he gave Greta quite an education recently on her program. He was respectful, caught her by surprise I thought, and I'd like to think she learned something.
No citizen's right to life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, or property is safe as long as Obama is President of the United States.
Think he'll wear black satin again?
September 24, 2009 - 19:59 ET by caiobabeI just remembered how the liberal losers focused on what Rush was wearing at that one convention (I think it was CPAK) where he spoke.
Mind you, his words meant little to them but his clothes made him out to be a conservative mafioso.
Um....satin?
September 24, 2009 - 20:03 ET by BlondeRush wouldn't have satin in his coffin liner.
Rish wore SILK. Probably really expensive silk.
:)
Just wanted to straighten that out.
I hope he fails, too.
Miami Vice?
September 24, 2009 - 20:26 ET by mom_roxI'm thinking pastels so he show off his weight loss. He and Jay can compare notes. The black suit at CPAC (I agree with Blonde that it was silk) was to *cough *cough make him look slimmer. He's not the first to try that.

I'll have to catch it later.
Glad to know it was as good as Rush said it would be. ;-)

September 24, 2009 - 21:59 ET by RescuedByRushI laughed out loud when he backed up to hit Gore again. Wish he'd have dodged the other guy, or at least not backed up again. Woulda been an opportunity to say, "point made, plus he's irrelevant anyway."
The crowd did seem to be behind him, only caught what might have been one isolated heckle. Not sure.

Waste of Rush's Time
September 24, 2009 - 22:10 ET by chuckkHe looked great.. Rush was brilliant as always.. but of course Jay Leno had to add his half-baked interruptions to every sentence Rush tried to expound upon...
at least the audience was evenly split, if not a little pro-Rush.. what a nice change from the Bill Maher group!
chuckk... Don't know
September 24, 2009 - 22:17 ET by bigtimerchuckk...
Don't know about that being a waste of his time, Rush knows exactly what he's doing and why.
I know one thing, he's handing it right back the majority of the SCM ...let them play with that hour, especially msnbc...even though I haven't seen it yet, I'm already chuckling...can't wait to hear the media in the morning...ought to be delicious in so many ways.

I'm so happy Rush looks healthy and happy.

September 24, 2009 - 22:21 ET by Scuba DudeI just caught this now on my DVR. For the short period of time I think Rush did ok. I was happy that he was able to put the blame for the financial mess at Franks, Dodds and Clintons feet.
