The Radio Equalizer blog just broke the news that “a group of Obamists headed by MoveOn.org are planning an anti-Rush Limbaugh attack radio ad campaign.” The radio spots, “set to begin tomorrow [Friday] on stations nationwide,” are “designed to put pressure on GOP moderates in the U.S. Senate who might be inclined to follow the lead of their House counterparts” who unanimously voted against President Obama's “stimulus” package.
Radio Equalizer's Brian Maloney has the transcript of the attack ad, which ends:
NARRATOR: Now the Obama plan goes to the Senate. And the question is: Will our Senator, (insert name here), side with Rush Limbaugh too?LIMBAUGH: I HOPE HE FAILS!
NARRATOR: Or, will he reject the partisanship and failed economic policies of the past, and stand up for the people of (state).

January 30, 2009 - 10:36 ET by TexasteacherIn my experience with an urban school district, the biggest problem is the students unwillingness to take responsibility for anything, whether it is their attitude, their work ethic, or their grades. Liberal policies encourage this and prolong it at the teachers' expense. The worst one being "social promotion". Whomever came up with that needs to be shot.
These kids have been spoon-fed every bit of information their entire life and now demand it in high school. They even know what to say to goad a teacher into just divulging the answers. When I make my students actually work for something and push them to keep trying, mommy calls the next day saying I'm too tough with her little precious. What a crock of s***! It's time to relabel Liberal Democrats
January 30, 2009 - 08:41 ET by PaulJamesLiberals seem to like their name. They seem very proud of it.
We have to change that.
The one name the public hates is COMMUNIST
We must be effective at labeling the opposition.
Let's take some lessons from Saul Alinsky
Hilary and BHO both used these rules to take on the system.
"There's another reason for working inside the system. Dostoevski said that taking a new step is what people fear most. Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution. To bring on this reformation requires that the organizer work inside the system, among not only the middle class but the 40 per cent of American families
RULE 5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.
RULE 8: "Keep the pressure on. Never let up." Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.
RULE 10: "If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive." Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.
Do any of you have a problem with using their own tactics against them?

When the great Bob Feller Pitched
January 30, 2009 - 11:01 ET by JIMMY1660he may have had some fans who thought he was not on his game for every pitch. They would heckel him. Did he pay attention. NO!!
On the other hand if a so-so player had the same experience that player got up set-had rabbit ears. BHO has rabbit ears. Pay attention to the game, keep your eye on the ball. If BHO was the leader he pretended to be, a warrior fighting for America, nothing said would affect his decision or actions. BHO is a joke. There must always be someone to critque, give other opinions.
Who in the hell does BHO think he is? 55+ million did not vote for him. His stimulus bill has no stimulus unless you are a dead beat.
Yes we have 7+% unemployment that means 93% of us are working, give us a tax break, i do not need the Government to give me back my money through someone who has not paid taxes. Tax holiday on income and corporate taxes for 3-6 months and lets see how that works.

I'm archiving DNCC comments
January 30, 2009 - 13:31 ET by gopcongressI'm downloading, and archiving, the DNCC comments that asked for the petition to send to Rush regarding the resolution by Congress to censor him. NB reported it in an earlier thread.
So far, there are 1850 comments. Of those, 1777 are unique username/location combinations. Of those 1777, 1492 are pro-Rush, only 210 support the petition, and the rest are neutral.
I have the excel sheet, and will be breaking it down this weekend, when I'll expect to have about 2000 comments broken down. Once I finish, would anyone like the results of this DNCC petition to silence Rush?
Objective results analysis (also known as "Scoreboard, baby!!) is the best revenge.
Count me in gop...
January 30, 2009 - 16:01 ET by JPR1Post over in the forum or check with our NB leaders, maybe get it into a main page post.
I'm archiving the DNCC Petition comments for analysis

I sure would!
Still crunching the numbers
January 31, 2009 - 03:37 ET by gopcongressIn fact, I made a mistake earlier involving duplicate posts. However, I still will have about 1600 unique commentors to process. The comment count has seemed to taper off around 1900 total so I'll do the final tally by 2 pm eastern, then I'll assign the categories I mentioned earlier for a detailed analysis. I'll post by then.
FINISHED!
February 1, 2009 - 17:01 ET by gopcongressI completed the comment analysis from the petition initiated by Brian Wolff, Executive Director of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). Ostensibly, the purpose of the petition was to marginalize Rush Limbaugh from other GOP members in congress by energizing the Democratic (read: Socialist) base. It kinda worked the other way though.
The analysis can be obtained from this location:
http://gopcongress.4...
BOTTOM LINE: I downloaded 1902 comments from the petition. Out of the unique comments, over 96% of all the comments SUPPORTED RUSH LIMBAUGH! Less than 4% came out in favor of supressing Limbaugh.
The excel sheet, which contains the names and locations of the posters, as well as their comments, are contained for posterity. Blog hosts may wish to have this document to pick out comments they find interesting to post. If anyone wants to forward the link to Rush himself, they are more than welcome to do so. Something tells me that Mr. Brian Wolff will neglect that little task he mentioned in his little spiel.
(Now he will probably brag at getting nearly 2,000 additional emails to give to the DCCC to get himself a bonus! And they grimace at Wall Street giving their bonuses out...ha ha).
The rise of the neoMarxist hatemongers
January 30, 2009 - 15:42 ET by j17ghsKarl Marx defined peace as the end of opposition to socialism. Therefore, people like Limbaugh have no right to free speech, but only because he is exposing Marxist lies by the minute.
Speaking of Marxist Big Lies, Marxists liked to say that they might not agree with something but that they would defend to the death your right to say it.
it's not about rush
January 30, 2009 - 19:59 ET by ONUVit's not about rush limbaugh. it's about silencing opposing voices.
liberals don't have much confidence in their policies and rightly so. they don't like free speech because it allows people to expose their weak policies.
