And the really sad part is, poor old hapless John McCain has not the foggiest inkling of what is going to be coming his way just as soon as he wins the republican nomination. He seems to honestly believe these MSM types really do like him. He is in for a rather rude education.

The MSM is going to dump McCain's sleleton closet out for God and all to see. The scrutiny will be so intense as to be stifling. He will be on the defensive from the word go, and will be burried buy it all right quickly, as I honestly believe he no-longer has the mental sharpness to deal with it all effectively.

But it won't stop there. His age, military service (Vietnam baby killer, anyone?), support for the war in Iraq, his support for the GWOT, and a host of other things I am too tired to get into, including the kitchen sink, along with the tub and a couple of toilets, are going to be flung his way as well. Oh, not all at once, as the MSM will not want it to appear they are ganging up on him, but come it will.

As I posted elsewhere here yesterday, when the MSM is fininished with him, John McCain will not be able to get himself elected dog-catcher in Dixville Notch.

Goldberg nailed it. That's really all there is to McCain's popularity. And here we Romney and Thompson supporters are, kicked to the curb.

But as soon as it's McCain against Obama or Clinton the media goes over to the other side.

You know, I was wondering, when I read the NY Times endorsements, why these newpapers even bother to pick a Republican to endorse. Anything remotely decent that they say about that person is positively pointless; and will be forgotten the moment the two-party race is set. I wondered why they don't just say: No Republican is the equal of (HRC in this case), so it would be hypocritical to endorse any of them.

Did anyone hear Pat Robertson yesterday? He was doing the MSM's job: "I can't support anyone with that type of temper, and with his hands on the button. He could start WWIII".

I think someone will need to come up with a drinking game for all these McCain cheap-shots that will pop up in the media until November:

Reference to McCain's age: drink once
Reference to his health: drink once
Reference to his staunch support to the Iraq war: drink once
McCain's lackluster Naval Academy performance: drink once

Finally, whenever the media runs an audio or a video clip of McCain throwing a tantrum, you have to chug your beer until the clip ends.

Of course the media will turn against McCain. They prefer Hillary or Obama over anyone with a Republican label, even a liberal republican.

Yeah, Bernie stated the obvious ... was a no brainer ... no duh ... no sh** Sherlock, comment.

But then, we're all on the same page with the way the MSM is operating. 

What IS great is there are people such as (NB and) Bill O., who stated loudly that his people had collected and saved ALL the good and supportive comments on McCain from the MSM and would be rolling them out as the general campaign got underway and the MSM shape-shifted against him in their coverage/comments.

Let's see...

a. The MSM clearly want a Democrat for President;

b.  Polls have consistently shown Hillary beating Romney easily, but losing to McCain;

therefore...

c.  The MSM have been rooting for McCain to be the Republican nominee.

Huh?
