Schultz Worries About 'Damn Scary Stuff' from GOP Following Walker's Win
During the special 11:00 p.m. edition of The Ed Show on Tuesday, MSNBC host Ed Schultz fretted about what he viewed as "pretty damn scary stuff" that he believed Republicans would do in following Governor Scott Walkers example in pushing a conservative agenda in Wisconsin.
A bit later, during an interview with the Reverend Jesse Jackson, he asserted that conservatives are trying to "destroy and defund public education," which he claimed was "hurting the minority communities."
Early in the 11:00 p.m. hour, Schultz observed:
This is a big victory for the conservative movement, not only in Wisconsin but in America. We can't deny that. And they've got the money on their side. And the people that are behind Walker outside of the state, they don't ever want to see a Democratic President again. I mean, their mission is to get a supermajority in the Senate, keep the majority in the House, win the White House and change this country to their ideology no matter what any poll says. And so, what is the message to Americans tonight if this is a template on how the rest of the country is gonna go. I believe it's some pretty damn scary stuff.
He later posed to the Reverend Jackson as he wondered what conservatives will do in the future:
There's a big effort in this country by the conservatives to destroy and defund public education. This, of course, is hurting the minority communities. State budgets are being chipped away at. In this state of Wisconsin, they took a billion dollars out of public education. What does this mean? Because there's a lot of Republicans who are saying that they're gonna model what Scott Walker has done in Wisconsin, and that they're gonna do this and move forward with this radical agenda to knock out public education in America. What does this mean? Is this a bellwether night?

Give "Special Ed" a break
He just lost a large paycheck from his union sponsors and he knows that this will also mean that the union will not provide as much money to his liberal friends and their agenda. The man is heart broken over his loss of revenue. He will now have to drink domestic booze now. Such a situation for someone with such a large ego and so little intelligence is very hard to take.

There are few people I'd rather see on the air after a crushing political defeat than Special Ed. Call it schadenfreude, but I do enjoy seeing this bombastic ignoramus whining like a 5 year old.
Schultz, Sharpton, Matthews, and all their pals like Dean, Joe Klein, Shrum, Trumka, and Jesse Jackson, are all humiliated once again. They'll spend the rest of the week crying "Foul!" and shooting the wounded, but they need to listen to fellow libs like former Congressman Harold Ford, who minimalized the impact of money spent and reminded them that they need to work on 'the message.'

What if the "minority" communities (why is that always a synonym for poor?) had the same ability to send their children to whatever school they wanted, even though they were poor? Wouldn't that be more fair than being stuck in a school that sucks only because you happen to live on a certain block and can't afford private tuition?
What if the schools were funded via enrolment and it had nothing to do with where the schools was located? What if the education money followed the children? What if ?
What if good teachers could be paid more and bad teachers let go, regardless of how long they have worked? Would you go to a hospital that promoted it's doctors to department heads solely on the basis of how long they had been a doctor? Would you go to a doctor's office that assigned patients to doctors based on "who's turn it was"?
Is it racist to want "minorities" to have the same choices as the "majority"?

everytime democrats blame republicans for the poor state of our education system, all i can do is shake my head. its clear the rotten state of education in america is directly attributed to the relationship between the teachers union and the democratic party. we spend more per child than any other industrial nation and obtain very poor results. its all designed to keep minorities ill prepared for what awaits them in the modern economy. its all designed to keep minorities dependant on democratic politicians.

Our president's daughters do not attend public schools nor do many of the children of our legislators. I honestly believe this is partially for safety's sake. But even so, what does that say about the state of our public schools? And what about the incredible success of magnet and charter schools where teacher performance is rewarded while substandard results are dealt with accordingly? Tenure doesn't always mean 'good' teacher.
Unions have done good things for the little guy back in the day, but when unions became corrupt political machines our country was in trouble.
The security myth
Submitted by Galvanic on Wed, 06/06/2012 - 3:50pm.
Beltway apolgists would have us believe that Presidents and other Washington VIPs send their children to pricey private schools for "security reasons," when that explanation defies logic.
Let's take the Sidwell Friends School attended by the Obama girls. Considering that most of the students are children of VIPs, is Sidwell Friends less of a lucrative terrorist target than the DC public school servcing the neighborhood that the White House resides in? Wouldn't that public school be safer for all its students if the Secret Service was present to protect the President's daughters?
Jimmy Carter sent his daughter Amy to DC public school, and I'm not aware of any security problems.
The real reason that the Clintons and Obamas send (sent) their kids to Sidwell Friends is because the DC schools suck. Period.
School choice?
Submitted by Mr_Priest on Wed, 06/06/2012 - 8:26am.
Democat’s don’t listen to the needs of the African American community or maybe they would stop blocking school choice which the Republican Party has been trying to get for them for years. Democrats do not send their kids to public schools in Washington, not even Obama, while refusing choice to those trapped in the system. Their making job protection for members of teachers' unions more important than improving education for students in the public schools. No one loses more from this policy than blacks, for many of whom education is their only chance for economic advancement. If the Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan wanted to sabotage black academic excellence, he could not find a more effective means to do so than the government school system in most cities.

His EPA has already cause numerous coal-fired electric generation plants to shut down. As a result, one of the biggest Electric interconnects that services most of the middle-Atlantic section (JPM Interconnect - or PJM ?) of the country has reported that it's bids for electricity for the 2015 season have come in at an average of 6.5x what they are paying now per megawatt.
That means that unless something changes big-time and soon, most people's electricity bill will increase by 6x or more starting in 2015. That will absolutely crush the economy regardless of where we are at the time. If we are at 0% unemployment and 5% annualized GDP growth, we will plummet into a depression with 20% unemployement..If we are worse off than that...GOD help us.
Maybe Ed want's to look into that!?

Have you ever put yourselves on virtual film and listened to yourselves? If I'd been from another country, I would have been scared out of my wits, thinking I'd returned to the " Nazi of old" days, as that is the way it all started. What has happened to the American news media?? Have they been taken over already by the Communist in power? Whatever you do, do not call yourselves American newsmen, because you aren't. Doubt any of you could dig yourselves out of a brown paper bag anymore. Whenever I listen to one of you, I don't have to go to another station, as hear the same thing all over again. Are you reading from the same scripts? What a shame! America use to be such a beautiful country!
As far as "unions" are concerned, they are the last resort for "slavery" I've ever seen. And they have to use "blackmail" to accomplish that, (you want a job or not)! Sickening!
No courage, no backbone, where has our American spirit gone? Not to mention the most nauseating of all are the women in the news media, and politics, I might add. All of them sound like "shrews"! Heaven help the men that are married to them. It's like chalk on a blackboard, and all just to hear themselves talk.
May God forgive us for letting you help push us towards the Communist takeover.
Your bias is quite evident! Shame on you and your stations for helping sell out our country.
