Jon Lovitz: Obama 'Makes Me Angry' with 'Not Honest' and 'Divisive' Talk on Taxes
Appearing as a guest on Wednesday's The O'Reilly Factor on FNC to discuss his recent criticism of President Obama on the tax issue, former Saturday Night Live comedian Jon Lovitz accused President Obama of being "not honest" in criticizing the wealthy for not paying enough taxes, complained that the President is being "divisive," and asserted that "it makes me angry" because Obama is "pitting Americans against each other." Lovitz:
I respect the guy. I think it's amazing what he's achieved in his life, but, on this issue, I think he's being not honest, let's say, you know, and it makes me angry because I believe that he's, this whole one percent versus the 99 percent, it's pitting Americans against each other.
The liberal comedian soon reported that most of his left-leaning friends agreed with his criticism of Obama's class warfare rhetoric as he elaborated:
Almost everybody agrees with me. You know, people say, yeah, yes, because - and most of my friends are Democrats, you know, I'm a Democrat - but, yeah, they agree, they say, "Hey, I work really hard, I pay a lot of taxes," because it's not true, you know, and I think it's just a divisive way to appeal to the masses to get votes, and it's just blatant and obvious. And there is no versus, no one is trying to hurt people who are in the lower income tax bracket. We should all be helping each other and bringing everybody together.
We're all in this. I was in New York when 9/11 happened. It wiped out all the class structure because it was like being on the Titanic. You know, you're in fourth class, you're in first class. Everybody's on the same boat. We need to help each other, and he's being divisive.

Mr. Lovitz is right on this

I can share in his sentiments...many of my liberal friends that I know are growing tiresome of Obama, and not just on the taxation issue. Gitmo still open with full functioning tribunals, gay marriage amendments going down in flames across the country, committment of U.S. troops to Afghanistan for another decade...and the list goes on. He has failed to deliver the utopia he promised us 4 years ago, and even his base can't ignore that.
In the end it comes down to money

I'm not saying that as a criticism. We all work to earn and save our money. No one wants anyone else to have it just because they want it. That's why I give to charities I select, so I know those who receive it are truly needy, or are required to do something to earn it.
All Obama's rhetoric sounds good to these people, right up until he puts his hand it their wallet.

I always liked Lovitz comedy, so when I saw he was going to be on O'Reily's show, I figured I would give it a watch. I was interested in what a self professed liberal/democrat had to say about why Obama's tax policy was wrong. So what does O'Reily insist Lovitz talk about for the first 3/4 of the interview? All O'Reily cared about was trying to pin Lovitz down on whether or not Lovitz thought he was disrespectful toward the President for calling him a Fing Ahole in a bit at Lovitz's comedy club! O'Reily has a knack of destroying potentially great interviews.
"You can’t go take a trip to Las Vegas...on the taxpayer’s dime." Barack Obama
Yeah, I noticed that too!

And then Miller reminded BOR that there were plays and movies not only dissing GWB, but at least one called for his death-and O'Reilly's concerned about one descriptive comment about his beloved O'Bozo?
Jon shoud have said, "Yeah, thats the ticket!"
Bingo, Kingfish!

At least Lovitz is admitting that he is another dumb schmuck liberal who got played by Da One.
O'Rielly is so damned busy trying to appear to be "fair and balanced" that he won't get personal about Obama?
Excuse me, Bill, but there is NOTHING personally endearing about a man who is working overtime to destroy this great nation. All politics is personal because PEOPLE are the ones putting forth the policies, you dumb schmuck, so call Bambi what he is!
Give Lovitz an "A" for honesty. O'Reilly gets another "Incomplete."
Interview

Yes Kingfish, instead of O'Rielly interviewing Lovitz opinion, O'rielly interviewed O'Rielly's opinion.

Is why I quit watching. Thanks to the above posters for confirming I made the right decision.
Facts are like kryptonite to the liberal.

I saw that show; Lovitz called himself "just a mouse" and kept darting his eyes fearfully; seemed to me he was worried about getting the Breitbart treatment.
Woe to the apostates.
I am surprised...

Lovitz provided the best

Lovitz provided the best takedown of Marxist theology that I have seen. Amazing that it came from a liberal.
I don't understand how liberals like Lovitz can continue to support the Democrats after seeing what they are (aka Obama). They seem to not understand that Obama is the inevitable outcome of the ideology they have chosen to support.
