WaPo’s Greenberg Ignores Role of Arab Countries in Creating Arab Refugees from Israel
In the Washington Post article, "Israeli Troops Fire at Palestinian Protestors on Borders, Killing at Least 12, " writer Joel Greenberg recount the creation of thousands of Palestinian refugees around the time of Israel’s founding in 1948 without noting that Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq all declared war on the Jewish state, sending thousands of Palestinians from their homes.
Greenberg vaguely recounted that a war "followed Israel’s declaration of independence." Greenberg:
Palestinians commemorate Israel’s founding as al-Naqba, or the catastrophe, marking the displacement of hundreds of thousands in the war that followed Israel’s declaration of independence.

Palistinians are not 'protesters' on Israel's border.

These Arabs are invaders trying to opportunistically use the so-called Arab Spring movements as cover for invasion and Israel is defending itself against them.
It is a bit more drastic than the 'invasion' of Mexican and foreign invaders of the US. But the bulk of these 'protesters' are in the same bag of silk made from the sow's ear of terrorism which included the 'insurgents' in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Would that the AP stop using such labels.

Actually

Actually, the Arabs gave these "Palestinians" a heads-up that if they wanted a good vantage point from which to watch the great victory over the Jews, they should remove themselves from Israel for a few days.
A few days has now turned into several years.
But grandpa can't admit his generation played the fool in a devilish plot, so he doesn't let on that these "refugee camps" are a convention of choice rather than force.
Actually in a lot of camps,

Actually in a lot of camps, if not most of them these days it isn't even a choice. In Lebanon the camps have been enforced by the Syrian and Lebanese militaries. Lebanon never wanted and still doesn't want the Palestinians in its country but Syria and Hezbollah force them to remain (at gunpoint typically). If you research it there have been a lot of battles over the camps with the "Arab brothers" killing the Palestinians in every single one.
The "moderate" Palestinian Authority imposes a death sentence for being caught selling your little square of the refugee camp to a Jew. This is still enforced today and people are executed every year. You can verify this with a google search as well. The people living in these camps are political tools and have no hope of a better life because the Arab governments suppress them. The only hope for improvement is the large sums of money offered to families for contributing a suicide bomber or to get enough money to leave the camps for a Western country and then just not come back.
But the "press" never reports on that. We know why the liberal media doesn't, my question for you is if you know why fox news doesn't?
Who needs friends?

With Jews like Joel Greenberg who needs enemies? What is worse than any Muslim enemy of Israel are enemies from within.
It is unfortunate that in this country the Baby Boomer American Jews - who grew up protected and removed from the horrors of the Holocaust, the Soviet persecutions, and the Arab slaughter of Jews even before the establishment of Israel - have turned on their own heritage and people in support of what they see as a higher calling - the Democratic Party.
History is filled with inconvenient facts for these people - facts that they just ignore.
And how many missiles were launched that day from Gaza

Funny how Greenberg doesn't

Funny how Greenberg doesn't mention the 850,000 Jews who were displaced/exiled from all the muslim countries in the Middle East (and all their property was confiscated), after the 1948 War of Independence, but who were successfully absorbed into tiny Israel.
