No actually it's the opposite. Cheney fears more terrorist attacks due to this administrations soft stance reguarding our enemies and is choosing to speak out about it.

It's amazing what lenghs this administration will go to with the help of the state run media to spin things.

I may be reaching here, but I'm wondering if this is being used to divert attention away from the very real likelihood that Iran and the Hezzbol's will probably try and start a conflageration somewhere to divert attention away from the turmoil taking place over there right now over the election.

Not to mention the Nork's threatening nuclear war.

I was reading this nonsense earlier.  This will now be repeated over and over by liberals.  Watch for it.  Chris Matthews will have this as a topic on Harball, is my guess.  Olbermann may vomit out a 7 minute commentary on it.  When we talk with liberals, with whom we interact with daily, about the issue, he/she is going to use this line.  I expect it, and I welcome it.

Instead of attacking Dick Cheney, Leon Panetta, should be concentrating on attacking our enemies.  Oh wait first they have to learn how to give Miranda rights.

I have one question for you Mr. Panetta.  Since those memos were released how many senior agents and analysts have resigned and/or taken early retirement?  The last I heard it was fast approaching 4 digits.  Thank you Mr. Panetta for making us less safe.

It's almost as if Panetta is hoping for this country to be attacked again (and soon) in order to try to blame it on Cheney.  This way he can attempt to paper over the fact that he is nothing more than an incompetent, unqualified political hack who has no more business running the CIA than Paris Hilton does.
