On Thursday’s Countdown show, left-wing actress and comedienne Janeane Garofalo appeared to talk about a recent poll finding that Rush Limbaugh is substantially less popular with women than with men. Evoking laughter from host Keith Olbermann, Garofalo remarked that "the type of female that does like Rush is the same type of woman that falls in love with prisoners." After mentioning serial killers Richard Ramirez and Charles Manson, she then compared women who like Limbaugh to Adolf Hitler’s girlfriend, Eva Braun: "Eva Braun, Hitler’s girlfriend. That is exactly the type of woman that responds really well to Rush." (Video of the entire segment can be found here.)
After mentioning that former CNN anchor Daryn Kagan used to date Limbaugh, Garofalo cracked that Kagan has Stockholm Syndrome, which she also attributed to RNC Chairman Michael Steele, with Olbermann agreeing that Steele suffers from "self-loathing":
JANEANE GAROFALO: She dated him, so either she suffers from Stockholm Syndrome – a lot like Michael Steele, who’s the black guy in the Republican party who suffers from Stockholm Syndrome, which means you try and curry favor with the oppressor.
KEITH OLBERMANN: Yes, you talk about self-loathing.
GAROFALO: Yeah, and there’s, any female or person of color in the Republican party is struggling with Stockholm Syndrome.
Below is a transcript of relevant comments from the Thursday, February 26, Countdown show on MSNBC:
JANEANE GAROFALO: But the type of female that does like Rush is the same type of woman that falls in love with prisoners. [KEITH OLBERMANN LAUGHS] You know what I mean? They – like Richard Ramirez or Squeaky Fromme is a good example. I think Charles Manson’s – Eva Braun, Hitler’s girlfriend. That is exactly the type of woman that responds really well to Rush. And there will be some Eva Brauns, Squeaky Frommes out there that will respond really well to this cattle call right now.
...
GAROFALO, REFERRING TO DARYN KAGAN: She dated him, so either she suffers from Stockholm Syndrome – a lot like Michael Steele, who’s the black guy in the Republican party who suffers from Stockholm Syndrome, which means you try and curry favor with the oppressor.
OLBERMANN: Yes, you talk about self-loathing.
GAROFALO: Yeah, and there’s, any female or person of color in the Republican party is struggling with Stockholm Syndrome.

Jack - What may be unattractive to some may be beautiful
Fri, 02/27/2009 - 04:23 ET by Rush Fanto others. My Best Friend (in addition to my wife) finds Garafalo Very Attractive. Although he has never told me so in so many words, I have to assume from his reaction every time he sees Janeane Garofalo on the screen that what you describe as a "mutantly LARGE head on the pitiful body" are features that he finds very attractive.
What I'm saying is "to each his own."
For example, the last time he saw Garafalo on the TV, I believe it was while we were watching "24", he immediately jumped up from where he was laying on the floor and began barking very loudly. Moreover, he was also drooling, something he rarely does except just before we feed him.
Personally, I agree with you as to her attractiveness, both outside and inside. But as I said, my dog, Rusty, seems to be attracted to her, and my wife and I have found that Rusty seems to have good taste when it comes to female dogs.

Got a fund raiser mailing from the RNC in which Michael Steele admitted the party let us conservatives down. I heard basically the same thing from Bobby Jindal the other night. You do not have to agree. You do not have to have a good opinion. Why waste the bandwidth and time just doing the same thing again and again? Or could it be you don't have any original thoughts? I don't know? It is impossible to say. I have to say that a lot of time is spent preaching to the choir. Did you consider that this just might be practice for some that it might be a way for people who usually do not share thier opinions on anything as a way to develope thier skills at making arguments? Stooping to her level
Fri, 02/27/2009 - 06:29 ET by ricklailWhen we make comments about her greasy hair and tatoos we are sinking to the same level that the libs use in an arguement. So she is about as dumb as a hacksaw blade but if her hair was shorter she would look like the typical guest in the prison where I work. As for the same women that fall for Rush are the same that fall for prisoners, she has a lot to learn on that subject. The women that fall for prisoners, be it male or female, are more like her, greasy, nasty hair, more tats than the tatooed lady at the county fair and stupid.
By the way, how would she know what Eva Braun would like? My dad always said it takes one to know one.

Fri, 02/27/2009 - 06:48 ET by BobAnthonyLook at what Radio Equalizer has published. Mike Malloy strikes again!
"Continuing an alarming
recent pattern of utilizing racism and overt bigotry to neutralize
political opponents, two syndicated liberal radio personalities have
been caught on tape disparaging Governor Bobby Jindal.
This
time, the culprits are libtalker Mike Malloy and producer / wife Kathy
Bay Malloy. During Wednesday's show, Kathy used a mocking impersonation
of an East Indian to ridicule the Louisiana governor."
And said exchange went like this...
KATHY BAY MALLOY (50:34) in mocking East Indian voice:
Hello, my name is Bobby, how may I give you excellent customer service
today, I hear you are having problems with hard drive. I am so very
sorry this is happening to you, ma'am (Mike Malloy laughs throughout)
MIKE MALLOY (50:49) (Laughing): You're getting a bit racist in your middle years, aren't you? "
Also a YouTube video has been included.
Three questions...
1) WHY IS MIKE MALLOY STILL ALIVE?
2) WHY IS MIKE MALLOY MARRIED?
3) WHY DOESN'T SOMEONE GO 2ND AMENDMENT ON HIM AND HIS BITCH OF A WIFE?

Fri, 02/27/2009 - 09:09 ET by klchadwickchoselife3x, even though i am a conservative to the core, i also am a tattoo fan.
i have 4, just getting this last one a week ago. my tattoos are rather small and conservative and are strategically placed on areas that they can't been seen unless i specifically show them, having an irish cladaggah on my left hip with he names of my husband and daughter (we are irish and the symbol is of love and marriage) a "miami dolphin" logo behind that one (i have been a fins fan since i was abt 2 years old) an asian symbol on my right hip which both my husband and myself got together (it means eternal and everlasting love) and finally last week i felt the need to "balance" myself out so to speak and got another one on my right hip behind the asian symbol.
this one has yet another great and lifelong meaning for me....a Republican Party elephant. however, i did make one change to the traditional symbol and instead of having the usual blue top half with white stars and red bottom half, mine is pink with a darker pink top half with white stars and a lighter pink bottom. the elephant is for conservatism and the pink is for women republicans...you know the type like us that are pro-life and such a threat to the way out there libs. ;0)

I never knew....
Fri, 02/27/2009 - 08:57 ET by klchadwickWhile I certainly don't agree with everything Rush says, I am definitely a fan. I never knew it was because I suffered from any "syndrome" other that Conservatism. I am also a proponent of Michael Steele....what kind of "syndrome" do I suffer due to that action? I mean can you imagine this scenario:
A conservative female that is pro-guns, pro-choice, anti-big government, anti-spending, pro-death penalty and pro-fair tax (or flat tax or anything other than HUGE taxing)? Have you ever heard of anything so absurd? And then when you add in the fact that I am married, have a child, a college education and was in the military, it just keeps getting crazier doesn't it? And finally couple all of that with being a law-abiding citizen, a full-time mom AND being employed full-time in the medical industry, it just becomes too much to handle, right?
I guess growing up the only child of two Independent leaning moderates that are still married, having at a mother that was a full-time homemaker and a father that has only had 3 jobs in his entire life and has always been employed, being a Reagan-ite at the age of 10 (although I was unable to vote until Clinton v.Dole) being raised by parents that have voted both Democrat and Republican and registering as a Republican myself in my HS civics class even though I was only 17yrs old, must have REALLY brainwashed me. I cant imagine what the picture looks like when you consider that when I got married in 2000, my husband was a Democrat that voted for Gore while I was sick with Bronchitis the same year and dragged myself to the polls to vote for Bush, then by the 2004 elections my husband had changed his party affiliation to Independent yet voted for Bush that year as did I and then by 2008 he changed his party affiliation to Republican so that he could vote for a particular conservative Republican in the Primary and by doing so was bucking the trend of his family whom are all staunch left-wingers....has made me the type that falls in love with prisoners and gets brainwashed. Oh, I should also mention that he too has served honorable in the military since 1995, has a college education and a full-time job as well.
Now doesn't all of this just make me ripe for the picking of falling under the spell of a mass murdering brainwasher??? Gee, all this time I thought it was because I have core values that I will not compromise and those values are conservative in nature. They are not something that I was forced into believing, but rather ingrained in me by the words and actions of my parents. You know, horrible words like, play fair, if you want something don't be afraid to work hard to get it, you can do anything you want to do and be anything you want to be as long as you do it honestly, ambition is a good thing as it causes us to strive to want something more for ourselves and those around us, but be sure not to destroy others as a means to get there.....you know, stuff like that.
I never knew I was an abomination......go figure. ;0)

Fri, 02/27/2009 - 10:29 ET by thebutlerdiditWow! What a WEIRDO you are! You actually work, and are married and were in the military? That's just SICK! LOL! I am not a fan of tattoos that are like Gorf's, (Thanx for the new name, Cool A), but have always thought strategically placed ones were kinda cool. I thought many times about getting one, then when I was finally ready, right after my divorce from Hellboy, I met my hubby, and he is not a fan. I may still get one, one day. I do know that being a woman, it is good to think it through first, though. My friend's sister was a big fitness instructor yrs. ago, and had a smokin' bod. She got a small sunflower ringing her navel. It looked pretty cute. Then she got preggers. Good Googa Mooga!! Just as a sunflower grows exponentially in nature, that sucker was huge before she finally dropped that baby.LOL> Anyway, she is in her late 30's now, and after 3 kids, the pregnancies and stretchmarks have ravaged her little cute flower. I urge every woman considering a tat, to heed this cautionary tale. :-O

Hitler is very similar to Obama
Fri, 02/27/2009 - 09:43 ET by The Smokin FrogWe watched a History Channel presentation last fall on the Valkryrie Movie. They played a number of clips of Hilter' speeches. We were stunned to see how similar he sounded to Obama. They said many of the same things. Garofalo hears and sees her own reality. While the rest of us would call that reality, insane, it is the one she lives in. She and other liberals hate Limbaugh and Steele because they tell the truth. This apparently is disturbing to crazy people.
I am a female and I love Rush. I don't care too much for prisoners though, other than to pray for them. I also am not particularly fond of terrorists either, but I'll bet Janeane is big on them, especially since her boy in the White House is, and is about to unleash many of them on us.
Olbermann and Garofalo can only dream of having Michael Steele's brain. But now let's look at Obama's brain. From all that he said on the campaign trail, to all that he is doing now to America, one must assume he hates the American Republic. He said he was going to fundamentally change our system and he meant it. I also believe he is seized with hatred of white people. He said in his books how he learned to control himself around them, so his smile is covering up a lot. But crazy people are fine with our national destruction.

Fri, 02/27/2009 - 09:55 ET by JillCWThere are several videos under "Obama and Hitler" on youtube.com, especially one that shows how they used mind control tricks to control the crowds and prevail politically. Even their body language is almost identical. Try typing in the youtube search box, "Is Obama the anti-Christ?" and watch some of the videos. Remember, this guy has been called "The One," "The Messiah," and a host of other absurd names that mock God. Ironically, if he were really a Christian, he'd deny those appellations, but he never has, has he? Nope . . . so maybe he's worse than Hitler and even more dangerous. His secret service code name is The Renegade, which means lawless one. Try 2 Thessalonians and look for mention of the man of lawlessness. 'Nuff said . . . sure explains the MSM these days. Fri, 02/27/2009 - 09:59 ET by fitzfongDoes anyone else see irony in Keith Olbermann and Janine Garofalo speaking of someone else's self-loathing? You've got Olbermann, a job-hopping malcontent with a reputation of being able start a fight in an empty phone booth...a guy who couldn't settle down until MSNBC gave him nightly license to vent his irrational, bilious discharge like Howard Beale on amphetamines. Then you have Janine Garofalo, a bitter, nasty woman who owes her entire comedy career to her legendary self-loathing. Most of her act stems from the fact that she's repellent to men (a problem that could easily be fixed if she stepped into a shower once in a while to clean up and wring out that vile, greasy hair...but I digress). This is a woman who makes Richard Lewis look like a hopeless optimist, yet she has the nerve to deconstruct the motivations of others? These two should really seek professional help and anti-depressents before they start accusing others of being "self-loathing". After all, to borrow from their buddy Stuart Smalley, "when you point a finger at someone, you have three fingers pointing back at you".

Let us briefly and rationally analyze this
Fri, 02/27/2009 - 13:33 ET by lotrLet us briefly and rationally analyze this (briefly because I don't have a lot of time to waste on these two misfits).
Here we have two elitist white people with money and air time commenting on an African American male, who has been promoted (over a sizable group of "white applicants") to the Chair of the opposing political party (again, mind you, Olberman is supposed to be a "reporter," not a Democratic partisan), and yet claim in the same breath that this opposing party is in the business of oppressing African Americans. Come again?
First of all, who the hell are they to comment on the hard-earned success of an educated African American male? Are they saying that it ain't time "he finally got a piece of the pie"?
Implicit in their emotionalisms is that it is the "white man" who is the "oppressor," else she wouldn't have referred to race or gender in her disparaging hatred of those who would oppose her narcissistic worldview. There are pretty much the same percentage of white males in positions of power in the Democratic Party, so it is invalid to claim that Steele is somehow currying favor with the "oppressor" any more than Obama has -- in fact, didn't one of the South American dictators refer to Obama as such? This is one of the reasons they despise the likes of a Sarah Palin and Michael Steele -- because it flies in the face of their propaganda that the R-Party = white male oppressors. And they don't care if they are being deceitful (or perhaps they are too stupid to realize they are being deceitful -- sometimes I'm not sure) in perpetuating the lie -- when "there is no God," the ends, no matter how crooked, justifies the means.
And one by one dropped the revellers in the blood-bedewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. -- Edgar Allan Poe
I Like Her Tattoos, Though
Fri, 02/27/2009 - 13:53 ET by rammingspeedOlbermann has unqualified, hate filled idiots like himself on his show all the time to back him up. Of course, Garofalo absolutely tops that list. Look at the low ratings and the lack of professional respect given to MSNBC. Most liberals close ranks and won't publicly share their disgust, but the rejection of wacko behavior from Olbermann and Garofalo is pervasive.
For what it's worth, I believe Garofalo is mentally ill - simply for her demeanor, her politics notwithstanding - and is in desperate need of professional help. In fact, those who have her as a guest on their shows, where she acts like a maniac, are exploiting her illness for ratings, and are cynical, evil people.

She's just like most other Hollywood types. She knows nothing yet sprouts off like she does like anyone with a brain cares what she thinks. These Hollywood types, and all democrat/liberals, are just tall people who haven't managed to get out of infancy. They still want to be provided for from cradle to grave like it's our duty.
GOP: Not diverse - BAD. Michael Steele: Part of GOP - BAD.
Sat, 02/28/2009 - 12:27 ET by krendlerWe hear the MSM and Dems constantly criticizing the Republican party for not being diverse enough. And in those instances were minorities DARE to turn traitor and join the GOP, they're criticized by the MSM and Dems for being "house maids" and "Uncle Toms".
Bunch of nauseating, race-baiting hypocrites.
Who is it that's being "divisive"? We've been told for the past 8 years that it was Bush and Cheney.
Laughable.
The only racist friends I

the ends justifies the means
Sun, 03/01/2009 - 17:09 ET by lotrGood point. It seems illogical, but it's more about a lack of ethical standard on their part. They parrot their mantra about the Republican Party being the party of white males because they know that negative, devisive propaganda like this works. But note that this is not criticizing (as in providing a critique), but rather stereotyping and vilifying. Thus, the likes of Steele, which debunks their stereotype, is something they find to be a grave threat, and thus they seek to destroy him and anyone who dares to think for themselves.
And one by one dropped the revellers in the blood-bedewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. -- Edgar Allan Poe

It Is The Self-Loathers...

In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem. From time to time we've been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people. Well, if no one among us is capable of governing himself, then who among us has the capacity to govern someone else? All of us together, in and out of government, must bear the burden. The solutions we seek must be equitable, with no one group singled out to pay a higher price. - Ronald Reagan from his first inaugural address
I love it how these two
Sun, 03/01/2009 - 03:04 ET by mostlymoderateI love it how these two failed-abortions have the audacity to say Rush has a problem with himself. Yet Garofolo is the one sitting there who can't fit another ugly tattoo on her grandmotherly arm, she doesn't know if she wants to have sex with a man or a woman, and she hasn't had a decent gig since Saturday Night Live (which sucked). Then you have Olbermann who, for some unknown reason, hates anybody that loves America. Plus, he can't get anybody better than Garofolo on his show?
Two disturbingly ugly dolts trying to make themselves feel better by picking on a guy who has been working almost everyday for 20+ years on the radio.
This is classic DSM-IV "projection" behavior on the part of Garofolo and Olbermann. It's almost embarrassing.
