FNC's morning anchors highlighted a few of the MRC's "Best Notable Quotables of 2007" on the Monday edition of "Fox and Friends." Included were a quote of MSNBC's Chris Matthews comparing Bill Clinton's speaking ability to that of "Jesus at the temple" when the former President spoke at Coretta King's funeral, and a quote of comedian Bill Maher commenting that if [Vice President Cheney] died, "more people would live." FNC co-anchor Alisyn Camerota joked that Matthews has a "man crush" on former President Clinton: "I think he has a man crush on Bill Clinton. He's using such rhapsodic language. I believe he has a crush on Bill."
Possibly inspired by the New York Post's Monday editorial page listing of some of the MRC's featured quotes, co-host Steve Doocy opened the segment recounting that many shows have a "best of" list at the end of the year, as he brought up the MRC's "Best Notable Quotables of 2007." Doocy:
At the end of the year, people always have, news outfits always have these "best of" lists and stuff like that. Over at the Media Research Center, what they did was they took a look at some of the outrageous things that people in the public eye said in the past year. And we're going to play this little game. Who do you think said this? We're going to do a quote, and then you try to figure out who said it.
First up was the Matthews quote about Clinton, read by Camerota: "When I watched [President Bill Clinton] at Mrs. King's funeral, I just have never seen anything like it. ... There are times when he sounds like Jesus in the temple. I mean, amazing ability to transcend ethnicity ... in this country and, and speak to all of us in this amazingly primordial way."
After Doocy revealed that the person quoted was "Mr. Hardball, Chris Matthews," Camerota joked: "I think he has a man crush on Bill Clinton. He's using such rhapsodic language. I believe he has a crush on Bill."
Doocy then read Maher's quote about Vice President Cheney: "I'm just saying, if he did die, other people, more people would live. That is a fact."
Co-host Brian Kilmeade read the third featured quote, in which CBS News anchor Katie Couric asked the director of "The Nativity Story" if "non-believers" would feel "excluded and diminished" by religious films: "Do you worry that all the non-believers may feel excluded and diminished at a time when we're divided by so much?"
Below is a transcript of the segment from the Monday December 31 "Fox and Friends":
STEVE DOOCY: All right, we're going to play a little game. You know, at the end of the year, people always have, news outfits always have these 'best of' lists and stuff like that. Over at the Media Research Center, what they did was they took a look at some of the outrageous things that people in the public eye said in the past year. And we're going to play this little game. Who do you think said this? We're going to do a quote, and then you try to figure out who said it, okay? First quote, Alison.
ALISYN CAMEROTA: Okay, "When I watched (President Bill Clinton) at Mrs. King's funeral, I just have never seen anything like it. ... There are times when he sounds like Jesus in the temple. I mean, amazing ability to transcend ethnicity ... in this country and, and speak to all of us in this amazingly primordial way."
DOOCY: All right.
BRIAN KILMEADE: Dick Cheney?
DOOCY: So who said that?
CAMEROTA: No.
DOOCY: Who do you think? The answer is Mr. Hardball, Chris Matthews.
KILMEADE: That is unbelievable.
DOOCY: Apparently a big fan of Bill Clinton's oratory.
CAMEROTA: I think he has a man crush on Bill Clinton.
DOOCY: You think so?
CAMEROTA: He's using such rhapsodic language. I believe he has a crush on Bill.
DOOCY: All right, next up, who said this? He said, "I'm just saying, if he did die, other people, more people would live. That is a fact."
CAMEROTA: Now, here's what you need to know. He's talking about Vice President Cheney. So who said that, that if he died, more people would live, about Vice President Cheney? Who?
DOOCY: I saw it. It was Bill Maher-
CAMEROTA: That's right.
DOOCY: -on his show on HBO.
BRIAN KILMEADE: You get HBO. All right, who said this? "Do you worry that all the non-believers may feel excluded and diminished at a time when we're divided by so much?" Who said that?
CAMEROTA: That was asking people about their biblical studies, biblical studies and holiday studies. Are you worried about all the non-believers who will feel out of it? Who said that?
DOOCY: That was Katie Couric to "Nativity Story" director Catherine Hardwicke and screenwriter Mike Rich about Hollywood films based on biblical themes. And that award was called, according to the MRC, the "Perky Princess Award for Katie's Cutesy Comments."
—Brad Wilmouth is a news analyst at the Media Research Center.

STEVE DOOCY: All right, we're going to play a little game. You know, at the end of the year, people always have, news outfits always have these 'best of' lists and stuff like that. It's kind of like a penis envy kind of thing with Chris. Chris's penis is jealous Bill's penis got aawy with all the felonies that his penis wish it could.
Here's a slogan and remember you saw it here first:
Bill Clinton's penis has destroyed more lives than Ted Kennedy's car.
.....or Dick Cheney's shotgun take your pick.

LOL Thanks Newsbusters
January 1, 2008 - 00:12 ET by Lame CherryHere am I still smiling at the MAN CRUSH which Matthews has on Bill Clinton. That is hillarious.....and you know it is so true or else why would Chris Matthews be so bitchy to Hillary unless she is with his man.
I had to read that last part over as it is right but it sounds so wrong lol
I will visit her again this time before 2008 dawns a few major facts the leaders of the cartels and governments have covered up as much as the MSM as I have had it with these Bill Maher and Bruce Brown quips about people dying because of Bush and Cheney.
Saddam Hussein had one nuclear bomb. It was too heavy for a Scud so it sat warehoused until the Russian GRU flew it out days before the liberation of Iraq.
Russia also dumped 2 ship loads of chemical weapons into the Indian Ocean and Saddam flew out 2 plane loads and at least 2 convoys of biological weapons to Syria and Lebanon.
Try telling the Christians of Darfur about people dying because of Dick Cheney as Saddam was shipping via Iran chemical weapons to slaughter Christians there. Iraqi pilots flew the first missions.
In the days after 9 11, the United States government arrested two Middle Eastern males in New York. They died according to reports in detention from their hair falling out, bleeding gums etc.... or symptoms of major radiation poisoning.
From what I have learned and in contacts, there was at least 1 if not 2 nuclear atomic bombs smuggled into the United States to be used as a second salvo in the week following 9 11 or even as a Catch 22 to keep President Bush from retaliating on bin Laden.
Our security forces who never get enough credit (The reason 9 11 occurred was the Clinton people in the FBI etc... were tracking these terrorists they let in, but "lost them" as they were about to make a "grand arrest" in rounding them all up. That is the reason they traced them so fast. The entire purpose of this "big arrest" was to show Clinton's people were doing the job and somehow embarrass George Bush........considering the "handy note" of Bush's statements which just showed up stating he didn't think it was that big of a problem, one gets the idea.)
In any case, the cowboys in our security by God's grace stopped the nuclear plot. I want to remind people that President Bush knew all of this and still stayed in Washington DC as a target as no one knew where the bombs were.
US forces in Iraq in published reports located 1.77 tons of WEAPONS GRADE URANIUM, that means bomb material that only needs the high explosive and kryptonite triggers which were floating out of South Africa with their scientists into the Middle East. Saddam could have made hundreds of nuclear warheads if left in power. That is a fact.
Fact par dux for liberals is Libya would now have nuclear arms too, but was stopped by Bush and Cheney.
The only reason Pakistan got the bomb is because Clinton allowed it due to what I conclude was Saudi blackmail as they funded the Pak project and they do have nuclear weapons too.
Iran also acquired nuclear arms like bin Laden by purchasing them from the former Soviet states. Right now Iran has 7 to a 12 functioning warheads mounted on Shahab missiles.
To revisit, the Saudi blackmail, while Vince Foster was the money bag man for the CIA and then the Clinton White House, it was no accident that whoever did murder him because Foster was making waves about over a million dollars which was stolen from his accounts, that the body was dumped across from the Saudi Embassy in Washington.
This was a message to the Saudi's and is why Director Freeh could never get Clinton to get permission from the Saudi's for the Khobar Towers bombing and had to turn to Bush 41 to get the FBI in.
There were all kinds of very nasty things going on.
So while this started with a laugh, I do get frustrated when liars like Bill Maher spout this garbage. For the record, there are at least 1 million Americans alive today because of George Bush and as America would have retaliated in force to loosing New York as Fred Thompson hinted at again today........there are millions of malevolent Muslims alive now because of George Bush.
It is never easy to prove the "what if", but it is fact about the nuclear situation what America was spared thank God from.
I would only add that Fox could add John McGlaughlin to the list of nincompoops as since his trip to Iran, he is all flirty with those butchers in supporting their nuclear plans.
You will notice though since George Bush shut down Iraq as a killing zone for terrorists.........that Ahmadinejad has gotten very quiet and the Islamocommunist of Zawahiri and Islamofascist of bin Laden have lost face.
Bush got this right and so did Cheney and all those "neocons" the racists so love to despise. These people saved millions of lives. They deserve credit for that.
