The race industry stands to lose too much if blacks every break the shackles of the liberal plantation. The "race card" attacks pale in comparison to attacks against blacks who seek political power outside of the Democrat party.

Why is this shocking?
It's par for the course for "black folk" who don't toe the line to be treated this way.
The amazing thing is that the woman stayed classy (but then again, she's not a liberal) and didn't b!tch-slap this deplorable excuse for a human being before she left.
Big black man....picking on a woman. How brave.
I'd love to see him try that with Allen West.
I wish Col. West...

I know that so-called journalists and balanced talk show hosts are a rare commodity, but that radio community of listeners must be scraping the bottom of the barrel to hire a man like Thaddeus Matthews. Maybe it's because he has a deep radio voice.
The interviewee should have gotten up and fled when it was plain that there was only one answer to the question being asked.
Knowing Matthews as I do, your assessment is spot-on.
Submitted by Mike Bratton on Wed, 02/01/2012 - 10:18am.
When you journey to the bottom of the barrel, there you will find Thaddeus.
He makes it a habit to violate FCC regulations, he has nothing in the way of credibility, and what you've seen in that clip is nothing out of the ordinary--all to say that he has no business being on the air anywhere.

Matthews knows his place on the liberal plantation and is working to please his Masters. Bergmann on the other hand is trying to break the bonds and demonstrate that blacks are not chained to history.
Still begs the question - why do GOP candidates appear on these drive-by hit-n-run media shows? I say boycott them all!!!

It provides an opportunity to talk common sense to an audience that normally gets only one perspective. Hopefully some of the listeners of this interview will hear some common sense in the voice of the conservative, and begin to question the dogma spewed out from the Left.

I really resent being told what the Tea Party thinks by people who are not Tea Partiers and who hate us. "The Tea Party hates Obama because he is black." No. I actually don't know Obama. He appears to love his wife and children and to be a fairly pleasant man. I bear Obama no grudge. I cannot, however, stand his policies and politics. I "hate" him only politically and no more or less than I "hate" Biden, Pelosi, Schumer etc. All of these people might be wonderful human beings - or they might be scum - I have no idea - nor do I really care. When I vote for politicians I don't vote for a Buddy. I vote for a legislator. And I vote for the most conservative candidate I can identify - regardless of their pigmentation or genitalia.

I'm sorry, but there's no way she should have tolerated this hectoring. At some point well b4 the 12 minute mark she needed to tell him that he needed to show her some minimum level of courtesy or she would end the interview. There does come a point when you need to decide whether to fight back, and HARD, or to walk out - in either case, you are standing up to abuse and bullying. But there's no great point in allowing yourself to be treated like a punching bag.
She has a right to demand to be treated fairly, and with some baseline level of courtesy - and the problem is, she's too nice for her own good. If that had been me, I'd have torn into him and destroyed every accusation he was making, or I'd have warned him maybe twice that he wouldn't continue to approach me that way, before walking out.
This "man" is despicable. I could barely get thru the full 16 minutes, it was very difficult to watch. When you see a total low-life, nasty POS like this guy straight-up verbally battering a woman like this, you realize that there is no way of even talking with them at all, let alone reaching any agreement on anything with them. This POS is sub-human, trash.

To say that brave, mucho-macho Thaddie's social graces towards his guest appear to be, shall we say, "niggardly" would be an overgenerous understatement.
Any moment now the vocabulary-challenged DC councilcritter of a few years ago who went DEFCON-1 ballistic and launched all missiles at a fellow councilman who dared utter that word in a meeting will no doubt call a similar hyperventilating press conference to proscribe my own use of the word.
I agree with other posters (and many a blogger/columnist) that Thad and all of his ilk know full well their place on the Lib/Prog Plantation and dare not get too uppity so as to incur the wrath of either their Massahs and Ma'ams or the ire of other docile victim-residents who would be jealous of their free-thinking bravery. Don't rock the boat (Dem Slave Ship) too much, just lie still and stay eternally dependent and dominated.

Apparently, there's a “black issues manual,” that all blacks must adhere to,
all black people must walk, talk, eat, pray alike AND fit squarely in the Democrat Black box, basking in the glow of liberalism. Don’t make the mistake as a black person and choose to be a Republican because you believe in opportunity, educational freedom (school choice, vouchers, charter schools), economic growth and small government like the Tea party does. If you do, you will be called awful names by black Democrats. You will likely be hunted down by the “black police” to determine if you’re “black enough” and subjected to relentless name-calling and mocking such as “you just want to be white” or “how can you be a Republican.” - Star Parker

When Is Racism not Racism?
Submitted by berlet98 on Sun, 02/05/2012 - 2:00am.
When Is Racism not Racism?
The answer to the title question of when racism is not racism is as transparent as the Obama administration is opaque: When the MSM or officials don’t want it to be.
Racism is almost always deemed racism when it involves perceived or actual attacks by whites against blacks yet rarely described as such when blacks physically and verbally abuse whites. Examples of the both social anomalies abound with the former getting by far the most media attention and the latter being mostly ignored.
For example, when the “Reverends” Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton display their keen awareness of white racism in virtually everything they disagree with, the MSM reports those perceptions sans comment as if they were biblical truth.
However, when Sen. Charles Grassley proposed making habitual drunk driving a deportable offense for aliens, it was interpreted as racist designed to discriminate against illegals such as President Obama’s drunken Uncle Omar.
When I posted an article titled, “Wisdom from the FLOTUS” examining Michelle Obama’s background, positions, and statements, a commenter strongly defended our First Lady and felt obliged to conclude in his defense, “I think racism is at least a possibility.” (http://bit.ly/wprRoO)
White racism always seems, at the minimum, “a possibility” when whites are accused of assaulting or even offering objective critiques of African-Americans. Black racism is virtually never considered when blacks attack whites, a fact of American life substantiated by the renowned African-American economics professor and poltical commentator, Walter E. Williams.
In an especially honest assessment of the state of racial justice in America today, Prof. Williams said, “In many of these brutal attacks, the news media make no mention of the race of the perpetrators. If it were white racist gangs randomly attacking blacks, the mainstream media would have no hesitation reporting the race of the perps.”
Truer words were never spoken as are the words spoken by Chicago Tribune Gerould Kern who conceded that “Editors for the Los Angeles Times, The New York Times and the Chicago Tribune . . . deliberately censored information about black crime for political reasons. . . to ‘guard against subjecting an entire group of people to suspicion.’ ” (http://bit.ly/mtX5AM)
Foolish me! I always thought the mission of the news media, the very basis for its existence, was to report the news fairly and objectively, not to pick and choose what and how to report predicated on “political reasons,” i.e., what is PC.
Now, granted, the American news media has always had a slant from colonial times through the twenty-first century.
Today, the Washington Times and Fox News lean toward the right, the conservative viewpoint, while the vast majority of news outlets, from the Washington Post to the New York Times to the L.A. Times to CNN to MSNBC report with a liberal slant often so distorted that it’s difficult to distinguish news from editorials.
Those distortions are especially noteworthy with regard to racial attacks, as Walter E. Williams pointed out and as Gerould Kern verified. Two recent events illustrate that reality. . . (Read more at http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=12582.)
