Brent Bozell Excoriates Chris Matthews on 'Fox & Friends' for Comparing Muslim Brotherhood to Tea Party
"He's shameless, isn't he?" asked FNC's Steve Doocy, co-host of "Fox & Friends, about MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews, who recently compared the Muslim Brotherhood to the Tea Party.
"Chris Matthews is not a journalist," replied MRC President Brent Bozell. "He's a parody of himself."
On the February 4 "Fox & Friends," the NewsBusters publisher acknowledged that while most of the coverage surrounding the crisis in Egypt has been relatively "fair and honest," there have been a few notable "blips."

The most glaring exception was delivered by Matthews on Tuesday: "So the Muslim Brotherhood has a parallel role here with the Tea Party. They're the ones that keep you honest and decide whether you've stayed too long."
After playing the clip, Bozell retorted, "If a meteor came out of the heavens and hit New York City, [Matthews] would blame the Tea Party."
Bozell also criticized analysts at MSNBC and CNN for downplaying the fundamentalist views of the Muslim Brotherhood.
"These are useful idiots," he quipped.

Obama's hypocrisy

Right on Brent! And as I sit watching Obama preach to Egypt's president about "listening to the people", I can't help but remember his mocking the Tea Party, shaking his hand with two fingers together, saying how they are "waving their little tea bags". The guy and all his comrades on the left are a bunch of self-centered hypocrites who hardly ever pronounce an honest word about anything. They move their lips--they lie.
BTW---When will the American press ( FOX included, except for Hannity)) begin to do its job concerning Egypt? There so much more to the "story" than the American people are being told. And to all our Jewish friends out there---do you enjoy being "victims"? Are you regretting your support of Mr. Big Ears yet? If not, you soon will.

We are witnesses to the distruct of a false god. Good can be found inn that We ThePeople have a more healthy suspicion of the press, personal responsibility is making a comeback and the end of currupt union influence is at hand.
Panama Tingles views truth and says the opposite.

The first few days of demonstration in Egypt was indeed similar to the TEA parties here. Peaceful exercise of rights by people seeking redress of grievences was in full view for all to see
The violence only became a part when those who would have government micromanage every decision for every person showed up on the scene trying to stop the free exercise of rights. Chrissy is saying that TEA partiers want government micromanagement? Suuuuure.
The Muslim Brotherhood's actions are quite similar to the progressive left's actions, not the TEA partiers. Chrissy knows it too, which is exactly why he is saying what he is saying. He lies trying to hide the truth. Nothing new there from Panama Tingles.
But the msm NEVER said that

But the msm NEVER said that the Tea Party was anything but ginned up at the ouyset, Later, when they couldn't make the lies they told stick, they changed to "It started out as a citizens movement, but the eeeeeevil R's/Koch bros. hijacked it" and you still hear that.

"If a meteor came out of the heavens and hit New York City, [Matthews] would blame the Tea Party."
Or he would blame Global Warming. No wait! Matthews would say the Tea Party caused Global Warming which we all know causes meteors to strike big American cities! Yea, that's the ticket! A twofer right there.
same blame game

They blamed the Indonesian Tsunami and the Haiti Earthquake on Global Warming, don't forget. They recently blamed what's happening in Egypt to Global warming. In the past: cow farts, pig farts, human farts, even insect farts(wait, do insects fart? No matter!)..global warming.
I propose a new drinking game: Take a shot every time they blame something, anything at all, on global warming/climate change. You'll get hammered in no time.
Like my subject line says, it's the same blame game.

So Chris is saying
"OK, we were wrong about the Tea Party, They are NOT astroturf, it's a REAL citizen uprising, JUST LIKE EGYPT"
Without actually, you know, SAYING IT - and after demonizing them from day one with NO proof???
"And all you nutcases on the right, who are actually using history/people's own words/our experience with Islam to try to paint this as something it's not, are the crazy ones"
Brilliant. You can set your watch by it - whatever the left is vehemently against, where they vilify, smear, and demonize to brand it in the minds of the surface news watchers, they will turn around and use as justification for their side - without ever apologizing/acknowledging they were wrong - we are just to trust them that they were REALLY onboard the whole time???
